Perfect location of the hotel, super friendly staff with English skills.

It was a really great stay at Novotel! Love the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the room! The location is fantastic, very close to the subway and just a short 5min walk away from the Bell Tower. Lots to see, shop and eat around the area, even at night. Breakfast was pretty simple with a somewhat good variety.

We had a very pleasant stay at Novotel. The location was fantastic with easy access to the MRT and also to the key sights! While we had a small encounter with one of the front desk staff on the morning when we had to go off early on a day trip to Luoyang, the staff have been hospitable and would go out of their way to help us. We are particularly happy with the lady in the restaurant and the staff within the restaurant. Always ready with a smile! Would like to give an excellent review for 小任, the housekeeping staff who cleaned our rooms daily! There was an evening when we returned to find that she had taken the initiative to wash my socks for me. I was pleasantly shocked by the gesture! There was no need for her to do so, yet, she went out of her way to make us feel at home! Thank you Novotel! We would definitely choose to stay with you again!

Great place to stay. The location is super convenient. The counter staff very friendly. And the most I like is the free laundry services.and everyday there’s free flow bottle water provided .

I am extremely impressed and happy with alot of great things staying at Novotel Bell Tower Xian. 1.Awesome location, right outside is Zhonglou station and nearby is Bell tower, there are malls and many eateries nearby too, just need to use underpass to get to the malls. 2. very helpful and friendly service staffs and the cleaning staff. I noticed the cleaner has very good observation, for e.g. I didn't bring my toothpaste so I had to open 1 packet of toothbrush set just to use toothpaste, i went out for the day, my room was cleaned when I returned, I noticed the cleaners placed 2 pieces of mini toothpaste for me at the sink. :) 3. when I ordered delivery items from mei tuan. the counter staff sent to my room using their robot, which is such a cute sight. 4. the breakfast spread are rather decent 5. Hotel is generous with drinking water, alot of hotels in China seemed to have a capped limit in providing drinking water bottles per room day. but this hotel really surprised me. 6. love the convenience of self service laundromat at the hotel too, really convenient for me. I would love to stay at this hotel should I travel to Xian again! thank you so much!

Very clean and spacious. Bell tower is just round the corner along with many eateries as well.

Arrived late (wee hours) due to my flight and upon arriving in the hotel, was met by a very rude security who does not allow our cab to alight us beside the hotel but rather a distance. Found out that the security does not work for the hotel. Upon check in, the staff was rather impatient as it was the wee hours but they did service recovery very quickly. Very clean rooms and staff was exceptionally friendly helping with the navigation, especially Wison, who was so patient.

The hotel location is fantastic, there is subway metro in front and it is near restaurants and shopping malls. Bell Tower is also quite close nearby, so is Drum Tower and the Muslim Quarter that has plenty of food stalls. There is no drop off or pick up area for the hotel so taxi has to drop off at nearby street. The room itself is very modern and clean. It has japanese style toilet that can warm up and flush automatically. Plenty of water bottles provided. On first night we had issue with the air conditioner. It was still quite hot. They sent engineer to fix but we still can’t sleep at night. The next day we told them there is still issue with aircon so they offered to move us to different room which has cooler temperature. No issue on second night. Staff are very lovely and helpful, some of them can speak English. There is also free laundry room on second floor with dryer.

My room was modern and the hotel very well situated around the corner from the Bell Tower and next to Zhonglou Station (Exit H) which will connect you to all the main attractions. The staff were kind and accommodating and the breakfast had a nice selection of food from fresh fruit, pastries to Chinese dishes. The laundry facilities came in very handy and was free (incl. laundry detergent and fabric softener). My only gripe was that my room smelt of smoke originating from the vents and despite me using air freshener and leaving my windows open, the smell remained. Though this is not the hotel's fault, as smoking is prohibited, they did nothing to investigate the problem or address the guests smoking in the room above mine - which was problematic as it's not just about the smell it's a fire safety issue.
