This is probably the perfect hotel for someone in transition to the city. There’s actually some families that come here also. The room size was just right for me. One suggestion is to add an extra luggage table or chair-side table. I was splitting the week with two different hotels and decided to stay at Mr. Wu’s the whole week because the reviews turned out to be better. The location is in the hi-tech area, and walking around to multiple venues or shops is quite easy. My Cityview had some city sounds to go with it, but I actually enjoyed that. The staff did really well with helping translate a lot because my Mandarin and is not strong. It’s easy to get to a bus or nearby subway and even grab a rideshare. I only had the breakfast a couple of times, but they had a really good selection. The teatime and the welcoming fruit were a nice touch along with the gift upon check-out. I was already traveling overseas and needed to wait a full week to get into my apartment. Everything including the laundry, gym, lobby waiting area, and housekeeping service was good. I did not use the foot spa access on the second floor, but I plan to go back to the area since I’m transitioning into the city. Very clean and cute decorations. For the location and the price, this is definitely a must-stay. It’s important to note that larger groups might need more space. My room was perfect for one to two people. There was even an event room some ladies were celebrating in. Each floor lobby is a bit different. Just right.

What an amazing stay!!! The room was very amazing, breakfast was also very good. The front desk personnel is very nice and helpful. They have upgraded our room for free and offered us some fruits in the room. Our room had air conditioning and the mattress was quite comfortable. At check-out we were gifted a goodbye souvenir which was a very sweet gesture! Altogether we really enjoyed our stay here. The neighbourhood is also very nice and modern with many restaurants around. The only minor downside is that the metro is slightly far by foot, especially if you walk 15-20km per day. For this we highly highly recommend DiDi (taxi app). It’s very affordable (only 16 rmb = 2 euros to the South Gate).

Amazing hotel, very good value for money. The room was spacious and the bed very comfy. The staff doesn't speak English but they are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is delicious with a lot of variety, coffee is available all day. The location is very convenient, less than 10min walking from a two metro line station and the neighborhood is very nice with a lot of food options. I definitely recommend staying here when traveling to Xi'an!

Where to start with Mr. Wu? Staff, awesome. Room, awesome. Location, awesome. Catching the drift? Mr. Wu has everything you need and then some. An extra shout out to the awesome and incredibly helpful front desk.

A unique and beautiful hotel situated in a lively neighbourhood with plenty of amazing restaurants nearby. Easy to walk from the metro station but do note it's a bit further of a walk - around 8 minutes. The hotel isn't as central as others when travelling to Terracotta warriors/the goose pagoda/clock tower, however we taxi'ed to the locations easily and I would gladly come back to the same neighbourhood as we loved the vibe. The rooms were immaculate, clean, designed well and very tech savvy with automated buttons for everything, including a wireless charger on each beside table and a toilet that self flushed. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a bigger room for our anniversary and both the room size and showers were spacious. Staff were very friendly and professional, an overall amazing experience and deserves the high ratings from other guests, would recommend to friends and family :)

Room was amazing, concierge was very helpful and upgraded us to a better room. Hotel was very convenient, near to metro. Will stay at this hotel again when I come to XiAn. I can fully recommend the stay at Mr. Wu‘s Hotel. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The check-in and check-out was very easy. Even though they might not be fluent in English, I never had a problem communicating with them. We always used a translation app and we understood each other with ease. They even walked with me to the next convinient store around the corner to make sure I definitely found it. The room is very spacious with a big, comfortable bed and different pillows to chose from as well as a small bar to cook tea and enjoy a snack. It‘s very clean. Every day they come in, remove the trash, make the bed and clean everything as well as refill the water bottle which are for free during your stay. The location of hotel was perfect for me with lots of restaurants around and the merto station(line 3 and 6) just a short walk away. You can very easily go to the city centre and all the sights by metro. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda for example is just a couple stops away with line 3. The breakfast buffet has a lot of choices - something for every taste. It‘s mostly chinese dishes but also with western options e.g. toast, jam, cereal. Fruit is also available. It is really delicious! To sum it up: If you want to enjoy Xi‘an and want to stay in an awesome hotel, this is the one to pick! Very clean and very confortable bed! The location is perfect and very good service!

I am thoroughly impressed with the hotel. The service, location, and cleanliness were exceptional. The smart door lock and central air conditioning added great convenience. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. As a thoughtful gesture, the front desk presented me with a delightful souvenir upon checkout.

Very impressed with everything. I’ve travelled a lot and this place is up with the very best I’ve stayed at. Staff were a great help.
