Hotels near Laotongjia Bozhiniu Mutton Shop, Xi'an

Room was good, spacious and clean and the Aircon worked well. The staff at reception were very rude and unfriendly. If you are going to work on a hotel reception you should at least say hello to the guests or offer a smile or even just look up from your phone. The Egyptian guy who worked there was nice though. They have lots of nice cats in the reception. The common spaces are not really used and especially the roof had a lot of rubbish lying around, I don't think anyone ever uses it. We found it difficult to get any breakfast in the area.

We stayed here for 2 nights and everyone was really nice and friendly. The rooms are really spacious and comfortable. The location is good, walking distance from South Gate. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around. The restaurant of the hotel has really good food. We went there for the two nights after exploring and the food was tasty and the portions are big from a European point of view. Breakfast has a mixture of sweet and savoury foods. We also used the laundry room that has self service. The check out went smoothly with the help of Amy, Emma and Huang.

Wonderful stay! Rooms were comfortable and very clean. The front desk attendant who checked us in let us know that our original room (one large bed) could pick up noise from a nearby nightclub and offered to switch us to a room with two twin beds further away from the noise at no extra cost, which was appreciated. The free laundry machines/dryers were very convenient. The breakfast options were a bit sparse compared to other Holiday Inn Expresses I’ve stayed at in China, but there is still quite a bit of variety. The location of the hotel was great — very central and close to subway lines. Overall a very enjoyable experience!

A friend & I stayed in a private 2-bed room with private bath. The beds and pillows were excellent, & the room cooled quickly due to good air conditioning. It was July and hot outside. The hostel has a great laundry room, including detergent and dryers! There are many young people staying here, so the environment is fun and lively, with billiards, live music, & a bar for enjoying coffee, beer, or adult beverages. The breakfast (optional) was adequate but very simple. Since Xi'an is a great foodie destination, probably most guests don't eat in the hostel. Our Chinese language skill is very low, but the front desk was helpful and patient, even though the hostel was very, very busy. Oh, the location is perfect: next to the bell tower, super-close to the metro, and a short walk to the Muslim food streets.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The room is a good size and the bed is comfortable. We stayed on the 2nd floor with a window facing the street. Some street noise but not a problem at all for us. We didn't need the room to be cleaned daily and the cleaner checked in with us often in case we needed any extra like new towels and stuff. The location is a little further out from the Bell Tower also not a problem for us as we enjoyed the walk and the Metro Stop is really close by. If you intend to walk on Xi'An Ancient Wall. It's also right around the corner. you will start from the West Gate Tower Gate. Overall, we are very happy. Oh, extra points for the free laundry/dryer. Super helpful as we are on the road for a month. Staff were really friendly.

Room with 4 bunk beds shares 2 bathrooms / showers with another room, total 10 people. Facilities were tidy and cleaned every day, laundry is possible 😊 However, the lobby was constantly full of smoke, so no place to hang out other than the room and the rooftop. No activities are planned or proposed for travellers. It’s in the Muslim quarter so you only get there by foot and have lots of restaurants around.

The hotel is fine, but the pictures are way too flattering. All in all it is clean but decadent, flakey walls and broken things (like the shower nozzle or the shower door). It's cheap, so you get what you pay for, I guess, and our stay wasn't unpleasant. Clean sheets and very kind staff, free laundry service help having a good memory, but the noisy street and the view on a narrow alleyway in front of a tall building don't.

I can fully recommend the stay at Mr. Wu‘s Hotel. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The check-in and check-out was very easy. Even though they might not be fluent in English, I never had a problem communicating with them. We always used a translation app and we understood each other with ease. They even walked with me to the next convinient store around the corner to make sure I definitely found it. The room is very spacious with a big, comfortable bed and different pillows to chose from as well as a small bar to cook tea and enjoy a snack. It‘s very clean. Every day they come in, remove the trash, make the bed and clean everything as well as refill the water bottle which are for free during your stay. The location of hotel was perfect for me with lots of restaurants around and the merto station(line 3 and 6) just a short walk away. You can very easily go to the city centre and all the sights by metro. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda for example is just a couple stops away with line 3. The breakfast buffet has a lot of choices - something for every taste. It‘s mostly chinese dishes but also with western options e.g. toast, jam, cereal. Fruit is also available. It is really delicious! To sum it up: If you want to enjoy Xi‘an and want to stay in an awesome hotel, this is the one to pick! The location is really good, the decoration is very general, the sanitation is clean, the disposable toilet pad is provided, the front desk service is very good, the room has no mineral water, ask the front desk to send it, the projection has members, see our two girls sent us a disposable face towel, The service is still remarkable. I went there during the Spring Festival holiday. There is a park right outside the subway station, so I can walk through the park and save a few steps. There are big roads all around, and it only takes a few minutes to walk to the hotel, which is quite close. I thought there would be traffic noise next to the road, but it was quite quiet to live in. The entrance is a little bit unnoticeable, but I like the decoration style inside. The road signs with blue background and white letters inside the entrance are suitable for taking photos and checking in. The hotel service is very good, the room is also very clean, the breakfast is very rich, both Chinese and Western, and the rice noodles are freshly cooked. The light in the bathroom is a little dim, and the projector in the room I stayed in is a little blurry, because I don't watch it much, I didn't reflect this problem. Overall, it is very good.
