Hotels near Sofitel International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Xi'an

We loved staying at the Sofitel Renmin Square. Rooms very beautiful and very spacious. Staff was extremely kind and attentive (special thanks to William who was very helpful in finding restaurants and booking tours). Breakfast was fantastic and varied with both Western and Chinese options.

The hotel definitely has a 1950s luxury vibe, it's a part of a large Renmin Square hotel complex that share some facilities (notably a great swimming pool in the next building). The location is great, walking distance to the city centre and like 7 min from metro. The hotel made a mistake in my booking and upgraded me to a suite as a result (which was nice but that room was not ready so I had to wait). The suite was nice, with a comfortable bed and pretty much twice everything I needed. Also two wifis - only the Renmin one worked, the hotel one recommended by reception did not work at all. The room had like 20 switches next to the bed, I picked the 'Night' one - bad surprise, it also switches off the bedside socket so I woke up to a discharged phone.

The transportation is convenient. It's only a few minutes' walk from the subway station. The surrounding area is also quite quiet. It takes more than 10 to 20 minutes to walk to Yongxingfang. There are shops along the way. I go out to eat breakfast nearby every day. It's very convenient. The most important thing is that it's only one stop away from the Bell Tower Station. It goes directly to the railway station. When I come back at night, I go in the opposite direction of the crowd. There is no traffic jam when taking the bus. It's great. There are a lot of people queuing in and out of the subway station during the National Day. Although the room is not very new, it is not old. The hotel staff will take the initiative to greet me every day when I enter and leave. The laundry room is also well prepared with laundry detergent and a hanging iron. Xi'an is a city worth visiting more times.

When we check in, my wife and me were very pleased with the utmost courtesy and speedy check in we received from the front office manager, Miss Kitty Shang whose professionalism is without doubt. She went the extra length in finding my Hilton Honors membership. We will happy with the cleanliness and housekeeping service throughout our stay. We were more impressed even when she extended the kind assistance during our checkout and giving tips and advice on our next visit. We received a well packed chocolate Terracota warrior which make our day more than happy to stay at this Hilton hotel at 199 Dongxin street, Xian. As we are visiting xi’an again, we will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you Miss Kitty Shang, you make my stay pleasant and happy throughout with your service.

I am taking 3 boys with me for a two days family trip in Xi'an. The hotel is in a prime location, walking distance to local tourism attractions in walking distance. It's next to the Shanxi province government building. The square in front of the government building has a music fountain which will blow water more then 10 stories tall. This is fantastic. The rooms are big and clean, breakfast has both eastern and western styled food which was rated the best breakfast they had in China by the 3 boys. We were trying to eat at the famous muslin street but find it too hard to enjoy due to the huge crowd even during the rain. We found a local chain food store next to the hotel is our favorite, it is called 秦晋味道. We visited the Terracotta Army and Shanxi history Museum. They are so famous that there are huge crowd. It's like trying to get on the subway during rash hours in Tokyo. But there is a hidden treasure that is much worth than the Terracotta Army. It is called Mausoleum Museum of Bronze Chariots and Horses. This one is included with the purchased tickets of Terracotta Army. Not many people go there due it is 1 KM away and there is a long walking to reach the exhibit as well. The level of technologies used are amazing. It's a shock for us. The hotel is required by the government to collect both the passport and VISA information. So be prepared. I will use this hotel again for my next trip.

Location: Easy to find and convenient to travel. At Zhonglou Station of Metro Line 2/6, exit h and walk for seven or eight minutes. It is in an alley. There is a round sign with the word ”man” on the side of the road to indicate that you can go in. It is quieter as it is not facing the street. Facilities: Not bad, clean and tidy, bathroom with dry and wet separation, bring your own toiletry bag, and two makeup mirrors to avoid the problem of squeezing together to put on makeup in the morning 😂 Service: Very good, there is someone at the front desk 24 hours a day, masks/band-aids/gift bags/baby warmers/makeup remover wipes/latex pillows/, basically everything you can think of is available, and you can have a small robot deliver it to the room. PS When Fang is not in the room, the lady at the front desk can collect express delivery or takeaway food. When he is in the room, the hard-working little robot will deliver it directly to the door. Hygiene: Clean every day. If you don't want to touch the bed, hang up the do not disturb function. Auntie will only change the garbage bags and replenish mineral water. ps The room is not big, the bed is only one meter wide from the TV The buffet breakfast is very rich, even if there are few people in the off-season, it includes salads, fruits, stir-fries, staple food, soy milk and milk coffee, and there is also a small window where you can order meat buns, steamed noodles, wontons and other snacks. It is really good to bring breakfast with children or the elderly. It’s very convenient, especially in December, so you don’t have to go out to eat. Just in time for Christmas, I received a Christmas apple in the room. When checking out, the guy at the front desk also gave small gifts (pomegranate cake, pomegranate juice, daily nuts), which was very thoughtful.

Right next to Xing Cheng Live Theater (picture below), this hotel is just around the perfect area to start exploring Xi’an! The subway station is super close, around 5 mins walk! Also, the the front desk service is pretty helpful! There’s always someone there to help!👍👍 Finally, the room is quite spacious and comfortable! I loved the shower room, too! 🚿 I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again next time!✌️100% recommended 🎊🎈🤩🤩

A friend & I stayed in a private 2-bed room with private bath. The beds and pillows were excellent, & the room cooled quickly due to good air conditioning. It was July and hot outside. The hostel has a great laundry room, including detergent and dryers! There are many young people staying here, so the environment is fun and lively, with billiards, live music, & a bar for enjoying coffee, beer, or adult beverages. The breakfast (optional) was adequate but very simple. Since Xi'an is a great foodie destination, probably most guests don't eat in the hostel. Our Chinese language skill is very low, but the front desk was helpful and patient, even though the hostel was very, very busy. Oh, the location is perfect: next to the bell tower, super-close to the metro, and a short walk to the Muslim food streets.

The hotel is located in a really convenient location for travellers. It is located between the drum tower and Bell tower.. in addition, the Huimin Street ( food street ) is behind the hotel ( 2 minutes walk). The staff at the hotel are really welcoming and kind-hearted, and help with anything you need during your stay. The front desk staff speacilly (Mrs. Lei yu) is really hospitable and kind. her kindness and welcoming face made this trip a memorable trip. The hotel rooms are hygienic and beautiful. the rooms are cleaned daily.. and the commodities ( for example, water bottels, tissue, comb, etc) are renewed every day. Although i did not use some, every time the room is cleaned, the attended puts new ones... this really reflected the staff commitment to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel has an eating area, where breakfast is provided to the guests.. the food is tasty, and both Western and chinese dishes are available. In the hotel lobby, there is a tour guide who can arrange for you to visit attractions in this beautiful city. The tour prices are cheap and the tours are really convenient. And they arranged for me an english speaking tour guide. Overall, the hotel location, hotel staff, rooms, and services are excellent.. will recommend this place for anyone who wants to come to xi'an.

We booked a family room. When we checked in, we arranged a room close to the parking lot. It was relatively quiet at night. There is a humidifier in the drying room in Xi'an in winter, which is very considerate. The location is between the city wall and the bell tower. There are many more on the way to the bell tower. The check-in point is suitable for taking photos. Walking through the city wall is the academy gate, which is really convenient. When checking out, we also gave a small snack and the children loved it. It was really nice!
