Clean and relatively new rooms. It’s also a smart hotel setting with good shower and strong air conditioning. Next to train terminal so it’s very convenient if there is a need to rush for the train. Near to lots of eateries and convenient shop. The front desk guy is super helpful if trying to find a room that suits our needs. Overall, very good price for the room.

Booked for a second night as I like the close proximity to the Xian subway station and the convenience of finding food in the vicinity. Room is good except for the cigarette smell which they will rectify by changing your room subject to availability. Reception and housekeeping staff are pleasant and helpful and make you feel welcomed. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

Service: From the little brother and sister who checked in at the front desk as soon as I entered the hotel, to the daily cleaning aunt, everyone had a very good attitude. I called before Qingming to ask whether a washing machine was installed, and the front desk's replies were very polite. Good reviews Environment: It maintains the consistent style of newly opened hotels under Huazhu Club, simple, clean and tidy, and everything is in order Facilities: Although the majong is small, it has everything it needs, and it is very new. The bath water is very comfortable, and the bed is very considerate. There are two hard pillows and two soft pillows, which can be suitable for different people; the laundry room is newly installed. It happened to be a day trip to Xi'an to transfer trains, so I chose the Home Inn near Xi'an Railway Station. The location is on the main road, not far from the city center by subway. It is about 400 meters away from Wulukou Station of Metro Line 1 and Line 4, and it only takes five or six minutes to walk. The room I chose was the Superior Queen Room, which was very comfortable and had large windows for ventilation. The hotel front desk staff had a very good attitude. Although there were many rooms on the entire floor, it was like a maze, but the overall environment was good. The price is acceptable at 272 a night.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for three nights. We booked a standard room which was very affordable, and the hotel is located in the city centre, great location! There is a subway station just right next to the hotel so that’s very convenient as traffic in Xi’an is terrible! Upon check-in, a member of staff helped us and he was very friendly, he spoke English very well and that was helpful for us. Apparently the room that booked isn’t available so they upgraded us to a suite which was sweet! The room was humongous! It was very fancy, however I think the hotel is quite old, and some interior needs changing. We had a massive bed, maybe a California king bed? Very comfy bed! We had afternoon tea for two and a happy hour in the evening. (Not our favourite but it was a good deal). The gym was good too, they have some basic equipment and we were happy with it. The swimming pool was full of children so we didn’t use it, as we wanted peace and quiet. This is the most exciting part! On our final night, we got back quite late from exploring Xi’an and when we entered our room, it was pretty dark. No electricity. 🤣 I was super exhausted and I wanted to have a bath and just relax. But no can do. We had to go downstairs and update staff about the situation. We were told to wait downstairs, they gave us some water and we sat for about 15 minutes or so. And then a staff came to see us with a new set of key cards. She apologized to us for the inconvenience, like many times! We told her it wasn’t their fault but I think they really need some renovation haha (I didn’t say that to her), so she said we will be moved to a different room, from 20th floor to 28th floor. It sounded like we just got upgraded again! Haha. So we headed up to our new room, I opened the doors and wow! It was a 2-floor suite! It was amazing! I wanted to live in it haha. We were very exhausted and tired but it was a very sweet experience to have! My favourite was the bathroom as we had double sinks! (Yup that’s my thing) Overall, our stay in this hotel has been amazing. (Apart from the electricity problem) We liked the staff best, they were very helpful and kind to us. Everyone who worked in this hotel has been superb! And lastly, the manager gave us 20% discount as a compensation for the electricity incident. I would recommend this hotel to others due to its great location and incredibly helpful staff.

It was an excellent accommodation experience that exceeded expectations. The hotel is in a very good location and has convenient transportation around. It is very convenient to take public transportation or take a taxi. There are also many attractions and shopping centers nearby, which are very convenient for travel and shopping. From the moment I checked in, the staff showed extremely high professionalism and warm and thoughtful service attitude. They patiently answered various questions and made people feel the warmth of home. The room service was also very timely, and any needs were responded to quickly. The cleaning staff cleaned the room spotlessly, providing guests with a comfortable and tidy living environment. The room is spacious and bright, and the decoration style is simple and atmospheric. The bedding is comfortable and soft, ensuring a good sleep quality. The view in the room is also very good, and the hotel's breakfast is also good, with a wide variety; overall, this stay at Novotel Daming Palace is a great experience. Whether it is location, service, facilities or catering, it exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended to other travelers, I believe you will also have a pleasant vacation here.

We loved staying at the Sofitel Renmin Square. Rooms very beautiful and very spacious. Staff was extremely kind and attentive (special thanks to William who was very helpful in finding restaurants and booking tours). Breakfast was fantastic and varied with both Western and Chinese options.

Nice little hostel. Decent price and good facilities. Right in the Muslim quarter so you’ll have to walk if you want to go to a bar but only about 25 minutes. Only negatives are that it could use a bigger communal area (when it rains you can only really sit downstairs, need good weather for the balconies) and that a youth hostel should maybe have limits on age. Middle aged Chinese men just needing a place to crash for the night before continuing home isn’t really in the spirit of the name in my opinion. But other than that I liked the place.

Right next to Xing Cheng Live Theater (picture below), this hotel is just around the perfect area to start exploring Xi’an! The subway station is super close, around 5 mins walk! Also, the the front desk service is pretty helpful! There’s always someone there to help!👍👍 Finally, the room is quite spacious and comfortable! I loved the shower room, too! 🚿 I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again next time!✌️100% recommended 🎊🎈🤩🤩

Located near to CityWall. For those who wish to stay near to the CityWall, I recommend you stay at this hotel. There are a garden near the city wall and at night there are pubs and live music across the wall. You can visit their morning market near the wall. There are some restaurants near the hotel and you explore behind the hotel, there is a restaurant that serve barbecue meat and local food
