When we check in, my wife and me were very pleased with the utmost courtesy and speedy check in we received from the front office manager, Miss Kitty Shang whose professionalism is without doubt. She went the extra length in finding my Hilton Honors membership. We will happy with the cleanliness and housekeeping service throughout our stay. We were more impressed even when she extended the kind assistance during our checkout and giving tips and advice on our next visit. We received a well packed chocolate Terracota warrior which make our day more than happy to stay at this Hilton hotel at 199 Dongxin street, Xian. As we are visiting xi’an again, we will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you Miss Kitty Shang, you make my stay pleasant and happy throughout with your service.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The breakfast is aMAZing with so much choice. The rooms are exquisite, comfy with lots space. The queen size bed was super comfortable and sooo big, I lost my partner most nights. In addition, the staff and service was exceptional too. They have a robot that delivers to the rooms which is a bit weird especially if you share the lift with it. However, a couple of things to note. It's quite far from the old city wall although it looks close on the map. The hotel is a bit dated and is in need of a renovation. Carpets in corridors are a bit stained, our no smoking room stank of smoke, the windows were dirty and some things didn't work like the safe. The pool was lovely but again the spa (jacuzzi) was out of order. Overall, I would recommend staying here especially for the breakfast and room sizes.

We had a very pleasant stay at Novotel. The location was fantastic with easy access to the MRT and also to the key sights! While we had a small encounter with one of the front desk staff on the morning when we had to go off early on a day trip to Luoyang, the staff have been hospitable and would go out of their way to help us. We are particularly happy with the lady in the restaurant and the staff within the restaurant. Always ready with a smile! Would like to give an excellent review for 小任, the housekeeping staff who cleaned our rooms daily! There was an evening when we returned to find that she had taken the initiative to wash my socks for me. I was pleasantly shocked by the gesture! There was no need for her to do so, yet, she went out of her way to make us feel at home! Thank you Novotel! We would definitely choose to stay with you again!

I have had a great time staying here to discover Xian. 6 day trip and the hostel was great. Be sure to take the stairs since the elevator is very slow. The hostel is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and intact. The toilet is amazing given the Chinese toilet standard. The location is super convenient to reach food/metro/attractions! It will be hard not to fall in love with this view every-time you walk out of the hostel.

The place is clean and wonderful, and their treatment is very respectful. They provided me with water and supplies every day if I needed them, with a smile. 😊👍🏻

We had a great four day stay at Eastern House. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Location is ideal and one can walked to most famous sites. Subway is less than a 10 minute away by foot. Hotel staffs were all helpful, particularly the kitchen staff at the restaurants where we had our daily breakfast. Ms Yin (尹改利）and her wonderful kitchen staff were lovely people who helped our elderly friend a great deal. They carried her plate of food to the table and assisting whenever needs arose. Breakfast was delicious and has both western and Chinese items. It was a great way to start the day.

Our stay at this hostel in Xian was truly delightful! The location within the old city walls, close to the west gate, was perfect for exploring the historical charm of Xian. We were surrounded by an array of amazing restaurants and charming cafes, adding to the overall wonderful experience. The staff at the hostel were incredibly helpful, and it was a relief to find that some of them spoke English, which made communication easier for us. They went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This trip to Xian was the first time my parents and I visited the city, and thanks to the warm hospitality and convenience of this hostel, we had an unforgettable time. We are already looking forward to returning and creating more beautiful memories in Xian. The worst experience of an InterContinental hotel. When we got off the bus, there was no staff at the door to open the door and move the luggage, and there was no security at the door. This was the first time I encountered such a situation. After we took down our luggage ourselves, a staff member came to help us push the box. We were also disappointed when we arrived at the room. The room was very crowded and small, and the bathing part was also designed strangely. The bathtub was squeezed in front of the window. It was really not worth experiencing this room type at this price. Then there was the service of the staff. Because I saw a comment that some guests said that food was delivered to the room before, so I called the executive lounge. Later, I received a call from there saying that the hotel could not deliver food and drinks to the room, and could only use them in the executive lounge. I said okay. At this time, the staff said that they would add me on WeChat later and send me the specific time of the executive lounge. However, for three days and two nights, no staff came to add me on WeChat. The sound insulation was very poor. I often heard the sound of someone walking by the door of the room, which was very noisy. It was because the hotel here was new and the brand was so new that I gave up the hotel closer to the scenic spot and came to this more remote Weiyang District (15 minutes walk from the subway station and at least 30 minutes by taxi to the bell tower). I didn't expect such a bad experience. It's so different from the hotel I stayed in before! Of course, there are some things that make people feel a little relieved. Brother Wang Xjie (sorry I couldn't see his name clearly because the light was dim) who was on duty at the takeaway counter next to the gate on the night of 8.31 and 9.1, thank him for helping me find express delivery and takeaway twice. The service was very patient, and people finally felt a little bit of the five-star experience. Because there were two men at the front desk who came to serve, which made people feel very ordinary. In addition, the breakfast was really rich, and the swimming pool was okay. Other things were really bad, and the price was not worth it. It was far away, the service was bad, and everything was very bad. It was a very bad and regretful experience.
