Hotels near Zhenxing Grain Shop (Wuxing Street), Xi'an

I like the location as it is near the bell tower..mickeyds..bk..7-11 etc..also nearby is the night bar area..easy to walk there and back. During the rain..staff were not helpful in finding me an umbrella also there were no umbrellas available in the room. Also, I had dnd on my door as i was resting; the housekeeper ignored that and kept on knocking on my door. I stay at Ibis (brand) most of the time when i travel and i am still going to continue doing that...but I feel the staff need better guest service/hospitality concept training at this location.

I really recommend this hotel. I took my child to the children's hospital for a check-up. The child accidentally spilled medicine on the bed several times, and the waiters were very patient to clean it up. When I left, I left the things in the room. The front desk also contacted the front desk in time. It was hygienic and clean. , the air conditioning in the room is very comfortable, the service is also very good, and the facilities are complete. I will stay here again in the future.

Everything was perfect : location, quietness, cleanliness. We only regretted we couldn't stay one more night because when we asked the price for the following day, it was way different from what we paid initially.

The location is very good. There is a balcony in the room, and you can see the Xi'an City Wall! It is adjacent to Yongning Gate and Bell Tower. It is a good place to stroll after dinner, although there are many people... The only drawback is the breakfast, which is a little bland...

Location wise this is about a 7 min walk away from the nearest metro. near to the Xi an Wall (Yong Ning Men). Walkable distance to the Hui Min Food Streets and other nearby food streets and also a early morning market nearby. Hotel itself is nicely decorated, a great touch is that they offer daily supper from 10-11pm, and even afternoon tea (the barista made coffee latte was very good). Breakfast is also quite a good spread and is all the way till noon. The only gripe I had was the room I had was right at level one and right and the entrance way, thus I can hear people in and out at night an people walking along the passageway having calls. Some lights in room are malfunctioned. Do note also that the toilet/showers are transparent and can only be covered with a translucent curtain, so may be a little awkward if travelling with friends.

Nice little hostel. Decent price and good facilities. Right in the Muslim quarter so you’ll have to walk if you want to go to a bar but only about 25 minutes. Only negatives are that it could use a bigger communal area (when it rains you can only really sit downstairs, need good weather for the balconies) and that a youth hostel should maybe have limits on age. Middle aged Chinese men just needing a place to crash for the night before continuing home isn’t really in the spirit of the name in my opinion. But other than that I liked the place.

The hotel is located in a really convenient location for travellers. It is located between the drum tower and Bell tower.. in addition, the Huimin Street ( food street ) is behind the hotel ( 2 minutes walk). The staff at the hotel are really welcoming and kind-hearted, and help with anything you need during your stay. The front desk staff speacilly (Mrs. Lei yu) is really hospitable and kind. her kindness and welcoming face made this trip a memorable trip. The hotel rooms are hygienic and beautiful. the rooms are cleaned daily.. and the commodities ( for example, water bottels, tissue, comb, etc) are renewed every day. Although i did not use some, every time the room is cleaned, the attended puts new ones... this really reflected the staff commitment to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel has an eating area, where breakfast is provided to the guests.. the food is tasty, and both Western and chinese dishes are available. In the hotel lobby, there is a tour guide who can arrange for you to visit attractions in this beautiful city. The tour prices are cheap and the tours are really convenient. And they arranged for me an english speaking tour guide. Overall, the hotel location, hotel staff, rooms, and services are excellent.. will recommend this place for anyone who wants to come to xi'an.

Wonderful stay! Rooms were comfortable and very clean. The front desk attendant who checked us in let us know that our original room (one large bed) could pick up noise from a nearby nightclub and offered to switch us to a room with two twin beds further away from the noise at no extra cost, which was appreciated. The free laundry machines/dryers were very convenient. The breakfast options were a bit sparse compared to other Holiday Inn Expresses I’ve stayed at in China, but there is still quite a bit of variety. The location of the hotel was great — very central and close to subway lines. Overall a very enjoyable experience!

Hotel location is excellent, the clock tower C, the clock tower is out, the night view nearby is beautiful, the popular scenic spots such as Drum Tower and Muslim Street are only 5 minutes away, the National Day price is very favorable and very favorable, the hotel interior decoration is exquisite and luxurious, you can compare with the luxury type. The sound insulation effect of the room is good, the facilities are relatively complete, the bedding is very new and comfortable to sleep, the hot water temperature and water volume in the bathroom are beautiful, the air conditioning is strong, the front desk and the cleaning aunt are very polite, the Wi-Fi is very smooth, the overall recommendation is very cost-effective! There is also a free gym, laundry room, coffee provided! Enjoy the night view at night and walk less than 0.5 kilometers to punch in the night view of Xi'an City Wall to feel the charm of Xi'an. It is recommended and great value.

A friend & I stayed in a private 2-bed room with private bath. The beds and pillows were excellent, & the room cooled quickly due to good air conditioning. It was July and hot outside. The hostel has a great laundry room, including detergent and dryers! There are many young people staying here, so the environment is fun and lively, with billiards, live music, & a bar for enjoying coffee, beer, or adult beverages. The breakfast (optional) was adequate but very simple. Since Xi'an is a great foodie destination, probably most guests don't eat in the hostel. Our Chinese language skill is very low, but the front desk was helpful and patient, even though the hostel was very, very busy. Oh, the location is perfect: next to the bell tower, super-close to the metro, and a short walk to the Muslim food streets.
