Yiheshun Hotel (Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street) Reviews

This hotel is located nearby Zhongshan road pedestrian street (＜1 min walk). Bus or taxi stop is in front of the hotel. Zhenhai road Metro station (exit 3A) is about 10mins walk (the path is mostly covered so a comfortable walk). If you’re heading to the Overseas Chinese Museum or Nanputuo temple or Xiamen University, then board a bus at the bus stop near the Metro station. The hotel staff is hospitable and they are informative and helpful. I asked the staff to recommend local food and got really good recommendations. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Hotel did provide laundry service with free detergent but only 2 washing machine so need to wait very long as each wash plus dry cycle may take at least 1.5hours. However, information about the hotel and room on trip.com is erroneous. First, the name of the hotel is pronounced as Tong he shun but it’s displayed as Yiheshun. As the hotel’s entrance is at a side alley, it’s very easy to miss it. Second, I booked a room with ‘landmark view’ but got a room with no window. It’s different from the description shown on trip.com as shown on the attached photo. I ended up paying more to upgrade to a slightly bigger room with windows as I stayed a few nights.

Very nice hotel, it is in the center of Zhongshan Road. Very polite staff members. We will be back when we travel to Xiamen again

Room is right in the middle of Zhongshan road and there is a bus stop right downstairs that leads to many attraction. Room is also clean and big for two.

Overall a cosy and clean hotel conveniently located along Zhongshan Pedestrian street. Many food and shopping options, nearest mrt is less than 10 mins walk away and easy to take cab/didi at hotel. Not forgetting to mention the excellent lobby service kudos to Ms Liang and Ms Ma, we felt welcomed and warm. 总的来说，这是一间舒适又干净的酒店。地点适中，就在中山路步行街那里。食物和逛街种类挺多的，地铁站步行距离不到10分钟，酒店外搭德士/滴滴也方便。值得一提的是酒店柜台梁小姐和马小姐的优质服务，让我们觉得很暖心。

I am very happy with the family room which is very nice, comfortable and has a landmark city view. The location is good. It is very near Zhong Shan Lu (buxungjie). The toilet bowl is the one which has the functions of warming, cleaning and auto flashing. I am impressed by the "smart housekeeper", in the form of a small cylinder,. I verbally gave instructions to it and it would execute your instructions. It can also chatted with you. It is amazing. At my floor, there was a small but very nice garden. . If the hotel can help customers to buy ferry tickets, it would be excellent. Currently, non- PRC residents are unable to buy ferry tickets online.

First of all, the hotel has a great location, which is very suitable for tourists who come to Xiamen. The hotel is located on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, and you can taste a variety of special snacks when you go downstairs. And the transportation is convenient, you can take a taxi on the street, there is a subway station and bus stop on Line 1 nearby, and it is quick and worry-free to travel to scenic spots. Secondly, the hotel room is clean and hygienic. My son is allergic to dust and dandruff. He did not have any allergic reactions during the 4-day stay, which shows that the hygiene situation is very reassuring. The decoration is very new, equipped with smart toilets, electric curtains and other equipment, and the experience is very good. There is a laundry room and an open-air drying platform on the seventh floor of the hotel. It is great to wash clothes without hands, which is a blessing for lazy people. The most impressive thing is the hotel service. The front desk staff of the hotel is very enthusiastic. Seeing that I am taking my baby, they took the initiative to help me upgrade the room type. The conversation gave me a feeling of chatting with a good friend. The relaxed and harmonious atmosphere made me want to quit my job and come here to work😆. This store is located near Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, with a superior geographical location. The check-in experience is very good. It feels newly renovated. The service attitude of the front desk lady is very good. I booked a twin room. Seeing that I was traveling with my children, she helped me upgrade to a parent-child room for free. I thought it was average, but I didn't expect the actual check-in experience to be very good. The room felt very clean and sanitary when I entered the door, especially the bathroom, which made me very happy. I can't find any faults with my little cleanliness. What makes me most happy is that there is a small balcony on the 7th floor where you can wash and dry clothes. For the first time, I can wash and dry smelly clothes while traveling. Perfect, for Xiamen in August, going out is sweating, and having a balcony laundry room really makes me very happy. I especially praise the patient and thoughtful service of the front desk lady. I left a pair of shoes and an umbrella, and they were all sent home for me. Because I didn't take a picture of the room at the first time, I took it before checking out. Everyone can make do with it. It's definitely right to book this one when you come to Xiamen. It's great!
