We book the hotel thru trip.com. Not a bad hotel. Very friendly and accommodating. Great location, convenient for browsing the Xiamen main area. Room is clean but smaller than we imagined. Overall, still a good stay.

This Atour hotel is considerably old compared to all the others I have been to, the room is definitely too small and tight for two people and cleanliness was poor.

The hotel is good but the room needs more cleaning.
The location is great and the fron desk staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

we booked and PAID for 2 nights, hotel staff still call us after the 1st night,in the middle of our excursion to confirm that we are staying for another?😟 what happen to checking the system before interrupting customer ? front desk seem unsure about things

First time staying in this hotel.
Receptionist was swift in checkin in process. Clean room and toilet. Toiletries and one time use-pack were all new and stocked up.
Would highly recommend. Super B services. Felt better than many other 4-5 stars hotels. Did laundry, they would assist us in drying our clothes when we weren’t around. fold and bag our clothes into the laundry bag once done. Im thankful for this extra service.

Not so convenient as o train station around.
May require 10mins of walking to the nearest train station.

On the first day, my daughter woke up with her eyes, face and ears swollen from being bitten. When she went out, she told the front desk that she needed to be treated with insecticide. That night, she woke up and found that she was bitten again. Because it was my first time in Xiamen and I didn't know which area was convenient, I thought Atour should be a good choice. The room rate of more than 300 yuan in the off-season was acceptable. Who knew that the room rate would rise to more than 400 yuan on the second day and more than 500 yuan on the third day. (No breakfast) Because we drove by ourselves (although it was a very small parking lot with a broken road) and my husband didn't bring his ID card, neither the electronic one nor the household registration booklet could be used for check-in in Xiamen. We had to go to the local police station to get a certificate, and we had to get another one if we changed places. I didn't want to move. But I felt that everything was just so-so. At this price, you can live in a better coastal city in the off-season.
