Concierges are so helpful & friendly. Room is clean & the beds are comfy! Strategic location at Zhong San Pedestrian Street where all shops & food are there! 👍🏻

The location is excellent and very close to the shopping street, but the room facilities are little old and require some maintenance

Location: Pretty good (right next to the Zhongshan Road), also quite strategic cause it is close to a mall and subway station (Zhenhai Road). I'm very satisfied with the fact that my room was facing the Zhongshan Road. I felt quite lucky cause I could see the view of Zhongshan Road every morning and night just from my room window. Service: Quite friendly, especially the cleaning and the restaurant staff. They are so kind to me and my father. Although there was a little problem in communication since I can't speak Chinese well, I enjoyed my stay at Ibis Hotel.

Beautiful hotel room,super convenient location, shopping and restaurant all around. And the front desk staff Mr 钟炎坤is very helpful. Definitely will come back this hotel again if I come Xiamen.

Great location with great foods around the hotel.

Great location. A little noisy as the room was facing the back road and the toilet windows cannot be closed. Escalators didn't work all the time. Wifi works for foreigner as there's an alternative way to login with the room number. We did not want housekeeping so they left water outside our door everyday.

Right on the walking pedestrian street. Good and convenient location

Hotel rate value for money due to good location. But hotel room requires several renovations.

We stayed at the hotel during last December vacation. The location is good, at the Zhongshan pedestrian street. Good.

The service was excellent, especially the front desk which help us book transport. The elevator was terrible and was using service elevator the whole time. Location was hit and miss.bec its on a shopping street but there was no area was loading and unloading whicj was very hard when it rains. Building was quite old.

Good location. Easy to get onto Pedestrian Street. Escalator going up from 2nd Floor from Pedestrian Street.

Great for families. Central location along pedestrianised shopping street is perfect base to explore the city. Conveniently situated next to a food court and near many eateries.

Booked a deluxe suite to accommodate our larger group (a 6-month old and a 6-year old in tow). Got to the hotel a couple of hours late due to flight delays, so it was a little later than we would have liked and we're already tired from the travelling alone. The driver drove us up a narrow road to a dark cul-de-sac, in front of an aged residential building, that was somewhat shocking to us that it was an Ibis (or at least part of it is). Cautiously walked in to the lift lobby to find that the passenger lift was being upgraded, and we took the decrepit and small service lift. Thankfully, we were greeted by a modern and Ibis-standard reception area that was well-lit and fairly large. Check-in was relatively smooth so we were on our way up to our suite with slightly improved expectations after the initial let-down... to a tiny living room in a suite. Guess we misjudged the scale in the photos on Trip. That said, after settling down, it was a lot more palatable as the rooms were larger than the living room with the twin room having an en-suite toilet (while the king room uses the common toilet with the washbasin outside it). The room sizes made up for the disappointment and they overlooked the popular Zhongshan pedestrianised street (gratefully it's quiet at night). That said, a major gripe was the phlegm found in the washbasin when we checked-in and an entire suite reeking of cigarette smoke (possibly by the neighbouring room occupants who were smoking in theirs and left their door open), though they were later solved by housekeeping team who blasted the AC while we were out next morning to clear the odour. For amenities, the laundry room on the 5th floor is cramped, but we found it useful. The breakfast area was small as well and functional for small and not picky eaters, and there is a basic gym at the end of the breakfast area that was used by only 1 other guest during our stay. All in all, the value is as expected of Ibis-es, i.e. good monetary value for great locations (we were in the heart of the tourist district, but don't expect any bells and whistles.

The hotel is located at ZhongShan Road and walking Street where lots of Eateries and shopping. Rooms are huge, and reception services need to be improve.
