The room was clean and tidy, and the soft, comfortable bedding provided immense relaxation for my body and mind. The soundproofing was excellent; I haven't had such a good night's sleep in a long time! The front desk staff were warm and attentive, making check-in quick and efficient, and they were always prompt in responding to any needs. The overall ambiance is cozy and comfortable, and the value for money is outstanding. It's perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely be back again, highly recommended!

Often, guests do have needs, but they might be reluctant to communicate them repeatedly or feel awkward asking. With this service group, however, any request can be communicated directly at any time. Responses are almost immediate, and issues are resolved quickly. This level of efficiency and attentiveness is really rare. What was particularly helpful was that we bought a lot of items, and the hotel was able to receive our packages and deliver them directly to our room, which was incredibly convenient and reassuring. In contrast, at some five-star hotels in China, you'd often have to go to the front desk or a designated area to pick up your deliveries. The service experience here is noticeably more detailed and personalized. Furthermore, the room itself was a major plus. It was very spacious, with a well-designed and comfortable layout. The bathroom featured a semi-open design, allowing for direct sea views from the bathtub, complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows that offered expansive vistas. The overall decor was modern yet distinctive, with excellent attention to detail, making for a very relaxing stay. The bedding was also very comfortable, contributing to an extremely pleasant overall experience. Overall, from the facilities to the service details, you can feel the team's dedication. The room is relatively new, both in terms of decor and furnishings. You need a card to access the lobby elevator, which is very safe. I initially hesitated when I saw the hotel was renovated in 2018, but the result exceeded my expectations. The price is quite good for the price. The room is a bit small, but it has a large balcony. The view from the balcony is a large green space, which is very pleasing to the eye. The shower head has a strong water flow, but the drain is a bit clogged and the water flows slowly, so showering can be a bit soaking. The front desk lady's service is commendable. She always greeted us with a smile, answered every question, and was very friendly. Dining nearby is also quite convenient. Just outside the door are Shaxian snacks and several noodle shops. There's also a Guangdong food stall a few minutes' walk away, which is popular with locals. I stayed an extra night and parked on the roadside nearby for 35 yuan for two nights, which is not bad.

Overall, it was pretty good. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around. The pier is about 500 meters from the entrance, and it's just a fifteen-minute boat ride to Xiamen No. 1 Pier, making it easy to go anywhere. A concierge even proactively helped us with directions to the pier; he was really enthusiastic 👍. The ferry ticket to Gulangyu Island was only 35 RMB, and the hotel breakfast was decent too. Regarding the upgrade to a deluxe sea-view room (subject to availability on the day): I booked a superior sea-view room, and the front desk upgraded us to a deluxe sea-view family room. For the mini-bar, you need to proactively contact the front desk for refills. Also, for the cute little souvenir doll included in the package, you need to ask the front desk for it. It's a really adorable doll 🥰

Because there are too many people on holidays, it is difficult to take a taxi on the island, and Gulangyu is also difficult to make an appointment. Xiamen is fortunate to choose to live in Tongyu Wharf during the New Year. It is very convenient to go to the island and Gulangyu by boat. The front desk service is also very good, very warm! I originally considered hotels in the city center, but I'm so glad I chose this one instead. The city center streets had a terrible sewage smell, so bad that businesses had to cover their drains with mats. Health comes first!
