Well located with nearby Coffee and Ice streets offering high quality western style cafes, bars and and Pastry shops. Staff at the hotel are attentive and conscientious, however overly zealous about upselling the benefits of the club lounge rooms. Club lounge is small, doesn’t have much to offer by way of snacks. Very limited food options at breakfast. Doesn’t open of offer anything around lunchtime and has limited options for dinner. Ok if you’re a drinker, but range of spirits is small. Didn’t feel I received value for money for the upgrade. My clients and I ended up eating at the main restaurant for breakfast, which was not included in the club price? Also, the views from the club floor rooms were not river views- we overlooked the noisy bar street at the building across the road. Had a problem getting fruit to my room over my 4 day stay, so had to go out and buy Bananas for myself. Another issues was that despite leaving the room available and arranging with reception for housekeeping to clean the room in time for me to have a video conference call without interruptions, they did not and so, i was interrupted during my call and had to repeatedly explain and deal with housekeeping insisting on coming in! The last straw for me was when reception neglected to extend my stay as requested the day before and so I had issues with my card and with checking in again, so I simply booked into another, more welcoming hotel. Overall, the hotel is professional and well managed, but they do seem to have some problems co-ordinating back of house teams.

Overall the hotel has great service and good hygiene. Was surprised to see they even has Xmas decorations. The only minor thing is the mattress in the room is very soft which makes it diffficult for someone with some backbone problem.

During the honey snow trip, I chose the Hilton Xiamen City Plaza as my foothold. Here, I deeply feel the thoughtful service and thoughtful arrangement of the receptionist, which makes me full of gratitude and praise for this hotel. First of all, I want to praise the little lady at the front desk of the hotel. She is not only smiling, enthusiastic and thoughtful, but also shows meticulous care in details. Whether in check-in or answering my various questions, she has shown a high sense of professionalism and responsibility. This sincere service makes me feel warm, as if I were at home. Secondly, I was also impressed by the overall service of the hotel. From the cleanliness and brightness of the lobby to the comfort and warmth of the room, every link shows Hilton's high-quality standards. The enthusiasm and professionalism of the hotel staff made me feel the warmth of home. Whether at breakfast time or when you go back to your room at night, you can see their busy figures and provide guests with meticulous services. In addition, the location of the hotel is also very convenient. It is located in the Huli Torch High-tech Development Zone in Xiamen City. It is very convenient to go to Xiamen Railway Station or Xiamen North Railway Station. And there are many well-known enterprises and scenic spots around, which provide great convenience for business travelers and tourists. Generally speaking, I am very satisfied with the check-in experience at the Hampton by Hilton Xiamen City Plaza. From considerate service, thoughtful arrangements to high-quality facilities, everything shows the quality of Hilton and the spirit of F.A.C.T. Once again, I thank this hotel for its excellent service and give it a full score. I sincerely recommend the Hampton by Hilton Xiamen City Plaza to all travelers. I hope you can also feel the warmth and happiness of home here.

I chose this hotel to spend the weekend with my husband and celebrate my birthday. And I can say that I was not mistaken with my choice: -good location, -very clean room, -pleasant service. I especially liked this stunning view from my room On my birthday, I received a compliment from the hotel, which was also very nice. I recommend it!

I stayed here on an overnight layover from Chongqing to Taiwan. The hotel was walking distance from the airport and very convenient. I arrived very late at night and check in was not a problem! Quick and easy and the staff were lovely. The room was huge, and the bed was comfortable. All the normal amenities you’d expect were provided and the toiletries smelled great. Would recommend staying for a long layover

This is my second stay at Hualuxe Xiamen. My entire family loved this hotel, the room is immaculate, the staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. The view is wonderful. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool the most. The food in the Chinese restaurant on the second floor is highly recommended. We will definitely visit again!

The hotel is located in a very good neighborhood and it’s easy to get around the city. The hotel stuff are very nice and welcoming. They gave us a free upgrade. I would definitely recommend it if you’re planning to stay in Xiamen.

This hotel was fantastic, especially for the price. We were here in the off-season and I'm not sure what the normal price is, but we paid almost 1/3 of the price for a hotel of equivalent quantity just last week in Shanghai. The breakfast buffet was great, they have lots of options and have chefs preparing noodle and congee bowls on request. I highly recommend the Japanese restaurant here as well, some of the best meals we had were there. The pictures did not show it, but our room also included a large bathtub which was a big plus. We were working while we were here and there were plenty of comfortable places to work. My only complaint is that they allow smoking in the lobby and in rooms close to ours; this seems to be the case in other places we've stayed in China, but was difficult coming from the USA
