Ppikapp🥳 Overall, I highly recommend staying here – it's great value for money.
🥳 Soundproofing: The soundproofing is excellent; it's very quiet. I checked in late at night and left in the morning, and I didn't hear any noise from the hallway during that time.
🥳 Service: The staff are good-looking, and the airport shuttle service is relatively well-organized (compared to other branches). Calling the front desk gets you assistance, and for departures, they even help guide guests to the car. This isn't some amateur operation. They help with luggage, hold elevator doors – you can really feel the warmth in these details.
🥳 Breakfast: The variety isn't huge, but it's enough to fill you up. The douhua (tofu pudding) gets a thumbs up; even if the taste is just okay, I appreciate that it's offered. The saorou noodles were very springy, and the Eight Treasure Porridge was delicious!
🥳 Location: With the airport shuttle service, getting to and from the airport is quite convenient.
Finally, a few suggestions: The waiting time for airport pickup is 20 minutes; it would be better to have guests contact them in advance to arrange a car. Also, the car picks up and drops off guests at multiple terminals, not just one destination, which contradicts the information given by the front desk. And please, clean the artificial flowers in the restaurant – there's some... fuzz on them. 😹

After reading fellow travelers' reviews, which turned out to be incredibly accurate, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel – it exceeded our expectations! The high ratings are truly well-deserved. The hotel lobby is beautiful, and they even thoughtfully provided a late-night snack. The room was very stylish, exactly my preferred aesthetic. In the morning, the front desk staff meticulously called each room to give a wake-up call, and the hotel arranged a shuttle bus to the airport at fixed times. Breakfast was plentiful and started at 6:30 AM – hats off to the kitchen staff! The value for money is outstanding. Every honest review serves as an excellent guide for future guests and also helps shape the hotel's operational focus.

GGuest UserFacilities: The hotel is quite close to the airport, making airport transfers very convenient. There's also a free 24-hour laundry room on the first floor where you can wash and dry your clothes.
Hygiene: The hygiene is excellent. All corners and edges of the room are clean, even the hard-to-reach spots are meticulously cleaned.
Environment: Being close to the airport, there are many snack streets and even a night market. The greenery is also a nice touch.
Service: The staff are exceptionally good. They helped resolve any issues we had and were very polite. Highly recommend!
Airport Shuttle (Shared): The pick-up was quick, and there's a shuttle every hour for drop-offs, which is very convenient. I'll definitely book this hotel for future business trips.

GGuest UserIt was quite quiet. The snack bar next to the hotel tasted good and was very affordable. We had dinner here. We were scheduled to be sent to the airport at 5am. The front desk called the landline to wake me up at 4:30am. I just locked the door and came out. The front desk called the mobile phone again. Thank you very much. Then the breakfast was a buffet. I felt that I was not in a hurry because the front desk started at 5am. The restaurant staff was very polite. She reminded me that the dishes would be served at 4:50. Although not all the dishes were served, I could eat some first. I was anxious to stand and eat. She asked me to sit down and helped me watch the driver come in. The driver who sent me to the airport was also very polite. The whole process made people feel very warm.

The hotel has vending machines, and instant noodles were only 4.7 yuan, which is a steal! They even included a pour-over coffee with breakfast. Definitely great value for money. Perfect for early morning flights or late arrivals. The soundproofing isn't amazing, but the overall environment is good. Considering it was Chinese New Year, I really appreciate the staff working, making this a very decent hotel.

GGuest UserI read a lot of positive reviews about the Somerset Fendong, and this was why I came here, it did not disappoint. The hotel and room facilities are excellent, everything I need for a comfortable work trip and to work from my room. The breakfast buffet has delicious food in Chinese and Western options, and the gym is a really useful addition. However, what has really made the trip exceptional is the staff. They have done everything they can to make my stay comfortable. Athena Wang and the others at reception, the housekeeping and the restaurant staff go out of their way to be friendly and caring, as the best possible hosts, since the afternoon I arrived. This atmosphere makes more of a difference than anything towards having a good trip, and it is honestly one of the best hotel experiences I have had anywhere in the world. I would recommend the Somerset Fendong to anyone, thank you to Athena and all the staff!

XXiyatushaoyeIt's very close to the airport and offers airport drop-off service. Whenever I fly from Xi'an airport, I always choose this place. The accommodation is decent. The only downside is the significant noise from planes taking off and landing due to its proximity to the airport. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to consider this. Personally, I slept right through it.

It was clean and I slept well. They even told me what time I should wake up and woke me up.

TTianrandaidaideAfter getting off the plane, I called customer service, and they gave me good directions; it was actually quite easy to find. Just make sure not to ask airport staff for directions, as they might send you the wrong way 😵💫 (because T5 has three concourses). The front desk can store luggage, there's an airport restroom diagonally across, and if you walk a bit further, there's an M Stand coffee shop, a fried chicken place, and a convenience store. We just made it to the convenience store at 10:29 PM to grab some food to eat 🤣. It's small but has everything you need. The only downside is that the doors close quite loudly, so asking the staff for earplugs would help. The shared airport air conditioning is outside the pod, and there's a ventilation fan inside. After closing the door and lying down, it cooled down quickly. There's a pillow and blanket that looked very clean and had no strange odors. Being able to lie down for a few hours during a layover without leaving the airport was really satisfying.
