We very much enjoy our 4 day stay here with our young son - the sun loungers were comfortable, the food was good, the breakfasts were very good, the restaurant staff were lovely. But we had one major issue which was that the tiles on the steps of the pool are dangerously slippery, the first day we used it my husband slipped and broke a small bone in his wrist. We saw many other people slip on the pool steps while we were there, though the hotel management seemed quite indifferent to this. Some friends of ours had just gotten married near by, they came to visit for a day and similarly slipped in the pool. They are both architects and she is Greek, so she explained in Greek to one of the managers what they need to do to fix the issue. He didn't seem to believe her (he, like others, simply insisted that the tiles were intended for pools). I do hope they change their minds and take the feedback on board before someone gets seriously hurt.
We liked our sea view room a lot but it could benefit from a tea/coffee tray, which I would expect at a hotel advertised as 4 stars.
We also were looking forward to exploring the historic home which features prominently in their advertising and eating at the Italian restaurant situated there, but neither were open during our stay (in late June, which I would have thought was high season) which was another disappointment.
Alas, we did enjoy it enough that we said we'd plan another holiday there, but only if the pool were renovated first.

Pros: An excellent hotel at a gorgeous beach by the pine forest. Unlimited sea view from the beautiful stylish big rooms. Private beach with free premium sunbeds. Fine dining restaurant.
Cons: Restaurant service stuff was inexperienced. Music playing from 10am till after midnight is loud passes in the main building front rooms. The Sikelianios villa restaurant was closed (2024), villa was unaccessible.
Overall, highly recommended.

Prachtige lokatie, vriendelijke personeel, lekkere gerechten, kamers is groot en schoon. Mooi uitzicht. Veel planten en bloemen, fantastiche zonsondergangen. Een minpunt- erg druk in het weekend en het moeilijk om een vrije ligbed te vinden.Hartelijk bedankt voor personeel.

Sono tornata in questa splendida spiaggia da cui mancavo dal 2011 : posizione privilegiata vicino alla pineta , giardino curato , spiaggia ordinata . Unico neo il pranzo :abbiamo ordinato il piatto del giorno che non era nel menu , senza chiederne il prezzo . Beh 32 euro per un pezzo di baccalà corto sommariamente non è giustificato in alcun modo se non un invito a non pranzare più qui .

Onze kamer was ruim en proper, badkamer zeer klein, kleine douche met schuifdeuren waar amper plaats was om te douchen. Grote minpunt, 200 euro voor kamer met ontbijt , en voor een espresso moest extra betaald worden !! Kiezelstrand, maar ligbedjes zijn totaal versleten, ook stoelen in het restaurant...denk dat het ooit een mooi hotel was, maar nu vergane glorie...

Hôtel sois disant 4 étoiles.. personnelle de mauvaise fois. Chambre confortable mais pas celle que ma famille a réserver . Propreté à revoir piscine pas entrenu et qui se détériore restaurant désastreux et personnelle pas adapté. Petit déjeuner digne d’une station service. Plage que des cailloux et transat mis à disposition en salle état. Pas de demi pension possible. D’un côté temps mieux car le restaurant ne propose que du snacking. L’hôtel extérieur a l’air bien. Mais il est en fait vétuste et très mal équipé.a déconseillé

Very pleasant experience at a nice beach hotel. Clean rooms, great services, the only place that meeds to be renovated or rebuilt is the swimming pool. Very friendly personnel and nice whereabouts! We will definetely visit again as we had a great time

My stay at Sikyon Hotel was nothing short of a colossal letdown. The grand illusions painted by their promotional photos on their website quickly shattered, exposing a string of disappointments that rendered the entire experience abysmal. The accommodations were a far cry from the advertised luxury, with air conditioning that couldn't handle a mildly warm day and a conspicuous absence of promised amenities like a spa and pool at a SPA resort. Beach service was a lesson in inefficiency, forcing us to abandon hopes of a timely experience and settle for drinks alone. Dinner was a comedy of errors, featuring sluggish service, a missing drinks menu, and an audacious charge for an unwanted dip. Dessert, apparently a mythical concept, only materialized after an absurd 25-minute wait for a menu and never returned to take our order, highlighting the staff's incompetence. Breakfast was a self-service nightmare, including having to set our own table complete with cold food and an overall atmosphere of collective misery shared by all guests. The check-out experience was equally disheartening, with staff demonstrating a remarkable indifference to guest satisfaction and a laughable response to offered feedback – a mere 10 euro discount, I wouldve preferred that they kept the money to spend on the hotel. Even the weather didn't escape the hotel's negligence, with wet sunbeds during rain serving as a metaphor for the establishment's complete disregard for guest comfort. In conclusion, Sikyon Hotel managed to shatter every expectation, leaving an indelible mark of disdain. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this sorry excuse for a luxury establishment.
