I stayed here with two of my kids. They have a room with 2 queen beds and a hide-a-bed sofa. That is not easy to find. The hotel seems new. It is very clean. The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The free breakfast includes almost anything you could want to eat for breakfast. We will stay here again if we are in the area.

Had the cabin fever. Needed to get out of the county for a bit. First stop, only cuz I've never stayed there but only gambled, was Legends ******. Guess the hotel was recently renovated. Upon entering the hotel, you are greeted by staff who take your temperature and offer complimentary masks if you need one. Yes, masks are required on premises at the time of this review. Check in, all things considered, was pretty expedient. When I arrived, there were only two guests being checked in, myself and one other. Upon my checking in, I was asked if I wanted to have coffee in my room, when I said yes I was given a small bag filled with some coffee essential items. K-cups, creamer, sugar and other coffee knick knacks. I was also given a small covid relief bag filled with two disposable masks, hand sanitizer and other covid relief items. The room was nice, ground floor king bed room, very spacious. And it came with a seating area with coffee table, writing desk, and big dresser with television on top. Also had a mini fridge. The bed, although a king, was a little beyond firm, and I like a firm bed, but was a tad too hard for me. The pillows it had were nice and fluff. The blankets kept you at the right temperature while the AC was on. The bathroom, very spacious for a bathroom, had only an open shaower with very good steady water pressure. Cold water was cold and hot was water maintained consistent heat for some time. Only problem with the shower was the curtain, fabric shower curtain. If it became too wet the water ended up on the bathroom floor. Towels were soft and toiletries were basic. One of the major drawbacks I found with the hotel, the ice machine did not dispense ice. That had to be requested from the front desk and they'd bring it to your room. ****** floor was big for where the ****** is located. Lotta good machines, decent payouts. The food options weren't all the many, if any at all. What used to be the buffet is now a sit down restaurant. There is a coffee shop by the lobby of the hotel. Gift shop as well. The pool is small compared to the hotel. Overall, I bet this place is a small excellent getaway whenever things get back to normal. If you're not a local, there isn't much to do around the ******. Yakima is a 30 min drive north of Legends. But if you're just looking for a small quiet getaway, this place will have you covered. Would I stay here again? Possibly when things return to normal. Would o recommend this place to others? Of course, if all they wanna do is gamble. Is it worth the cost of admission? Yes.

Excellent
Aam918I have been traveling to Yakima for work periodically since October 2019, and this is home when i do. Easy access to interstate and downtown. Nearby shopping and restaurants. The suites have kitchens with full fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, stovetop, coffee maker, and dishwasher, table and chairs. Dishes, including limited cooking pots/pans and serving bowls/utensils. Separate living room and bedroom, large closet, comfy bed, tv in both rooms. Iron/ironing board, one load of dishwasher soap, scrubber, dish towels, coffee, shampoo, soap included. Laundry on first floor. Rooms are quiet and clean. Not included: dish soap, chopping knife, napkins/paper towels. Housekeeping is once a week. I would like to have a do not disturb sign, as once a short stay fell across housekeeping day when i was working nights and sleeping days, and i was disturbed by the knocking for housekeeping i did not need. Staff is always very friendly, and there is coffee in the lobby all hours the desk is open. Across the interstate from the river and greenway for some easy recreation. I will keep coming back.
GGuest UserFull disclosure: I have worked at hotels in the past. I was very disappointed with this hotel, and will NOT a return guest. Check in: My husband and I stopped by the hotel prior to the standard check in time, knowing a room would most likely not be available. We were off to a private event, and wanted to get the paperwork and credit card authorization done ahead of time. We did not know when we would be returning to the hotel, and did not want the night shift to cancel our room. When we asked to ”pre-register,” the woman working (who was clearly new) told us that was not an option. I was frustrated until her trainer stepped in and said that was fine. The trainer showed the new hire how to authorize our card, and stated she would leave clear/detailed notes for the evening shift that we were not a no show. Notes did not happen. I would understand if the lobby was busy at the time we arrived, but we were the only ones present. I received a call at 9:30 pm, which thankfully I was able to answer, from someone at the front desk asking if I was still coming. I answered yes, and said that my credit card had been authorized earlier in the day, and that there were supposed to be notes on my account. The front desk person seemed surprised, and didn't see any notes (or didn't look). They were calling because the hotel was oversold (”we have a full hose tonight”) and wanted my room. When my husband and I finally got back to the hotel, we were assigned a room on a low floor facing the main street. We could hear every car that drove by. We ordered the continental breakfast, which was a joke. My husband ordered the meat and cheese option, which was so disappointing and unappetizing he chose not to eat. Parking is cheap, ($10 per night), but the garage is shared with the hotel next door, and is chaotic at best. The only positive was that the room was clean.
GGuest UserWen we showed up for our stay didn’t think walking in to Baymont how nice it would be.. beautiful hotel the walk way next to the river was a plus the staff was so nice the breakfast lady was kind. Ashley at front desk was a great help to getting us checked in a little early. We will coming back!
GGuest UserThis hotel is a nice place to stay the night it had probably the best sound dampening of any hotel i've ever been to unless someone was literally on the other side of my door i couldn't hear them and I've been to a lot of hotels for work usually if people are not quiet you can hear the people in the rooms next to you muffled but you can hear them. Got a good pool & hot tub, decent fitness center, nice selection for Breakfast including something you usually don't see biscuits & gravy, as well as cookies in the lobby later in the day.
GGuest UserIt seems to be the most affordable option during graduation weekend, and check in was relatively quick - but the facility definitely has some major upkeep issues. Our room had holes in the door, dirty carpet, very noisy air-conditioning, and the oddest thing (I know this will sound weird) is that our room (at least) appeared to have an atmosphere conducive to bad dreams and nightmares for both participants the night we were there – it didn’t help that the room had odd noises throughout the night. Now while this might sound like some superstitious nonsense, a quick internet news review suggested someone had died in the wing of the hotel we were staying in a few years ago. Although that might be interesting, that certainly wasn’t the purpose of this trip. Other challenges: the breakfast buffet was marginal, and almost entirely empty with no refills the Saturday we were there; noisy dogs and running children continued late into the evening and early in the morning, and parking was a nightmare - I would read this property on par with a motel six. While this property might have been the least expensive in Yakima during our visit, next time, I think we might pay more for a slightly more comfortable stay.
GGuest UserI felt relaxed and enjoyed my stay,I slept well and had no problems.Reading some of the negative reviews I was reminded of how some people are never happy and will always find something to complain about. The hotel was clean, no funny smell, front desk was polite and accommodating and Im sure if there was a billing error it would be quickly resolved, these people complaining just have to much time on their hands and nothing better to do than try to get innocent people in trouble.So...Red Lion thank you for an enjoyable stay! You Rock in my book!
JJeffD915Stayed here recently and for a Choice hotel it is not my favorite. The bathroom fan had filthy fur like dust all over it and it was really noisy. The floors are not carpeted which made walking barefoot uncomfortable. Bed was average. Neighbors going in and out all night was easy to hear and woke me up a few times. Price reflected the conditions as it was affordable but I will spend more next time I am in town. Check in and out was good and the employees were nice folks. Small pool looked clean. Property didn't feel super safe as alot of folks coming and going at times.
捷捷达捷达The Indian hotel, the facilities are very old, there is only one bath towel, no face towels, cockroaches, it feels so-so, and the breakfast is extremely simple.
