Clean and quiet facilities, staff is nice and helpful in spite of limited English. Public bath is on the small side, no fresh fruits for breakfast, no clear explanations for dinner how-to.

Sheets of towels, pillow and bed smelled. Maybe not completely washed.

It was my first trip to Yakushima and the hotel staff were very kind! When my child caught a fever on the way there and was feeling exhausted, they recommended ice packs and takeout from a nearby shop. Even after he recovered, they asked if I was OK, which I was very grateful for. Everyone, from the tourism staff to the food staff, was very kind, and it's a place I definitely want to visit again!

Great

I think this hotel would be the best if they improved the food (breakfast selection, general restaurant meals). Even if the price goes up a little, I think it would be great if the food was more substantial. The service afterwards and the attitude of the staff were excellent. Finally, I was moved by the starry sky of Yakushima. I think it deserves to be comparable to Jomon Cedar. Considering the location of the hotel, I think they should do something to support stargazing at night. Perhaps they could turn off the lights at night or set up a space in the garden to view the stars, the sky and the sea. I have high expectations. Thank you for this time.

I was happy that the staff were very friendly. I wish the fried flying fish was a little more cooked (I couldn't eat the heads crispy because of the overtime). They also told me a lot about souvenirs and Yakusugi. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

The front desk staff were all friendly and polite. At the time of check-in, the reservation for 2 people was booked for 4 people due to some mistake. On the spot, I changed it and refunded the difference in the prepaid fee. at that time. Thank you for your conscientious response. The time just coincided with the Anbo Port Festival, and at night, from the hotel veranda We were lucky to be able to see the fireworks.

Hotel quite a distance on foot from Anbo and the bus system is unsuitable. Complicated routes and frequencies far too low. Large and dated room. Purely Japanese breakfast of average quality. Meals at the restaurant too expensive compared to the prices of surrounding restaurants. Quite nice onsen. Very courteous staff but who does not go beyond what is expected.

This is the person I used the other day. Since it was my first trip to a remote island, I was a little nervous as I had no idea what the hotel's atmosphere would be like, but all the staff were very friendly and made me feel at ease. This time I stayed for the purpose of trekking, and I was given a map of the area at the reception and enjoyed walking around. Apparently you can also make reservations for dinner at the hotel, and there was also a sushi restaurant using local fish and a hitsumabushi restaurant nearby. Depending on when you go, it may be fully booked, so if you want to eat at the restaurant, you'll need to make a reservation (by the way, there's also a supermarket about a 10-minute walk away). I would like to use it again when I visit.

I stayed for 3 nights. I liked the good service. When I returned from trekking, I was greeted at the entrance and had slippers and a plastic bag for my hiking shoes ready. The restaurant staff served and explained the meals in a timely manner, which was very good. The breakfast and dinner meals were not luxurious, but I was satisfied with the quality and quantity. I was grateful for the barley tea provided in the refrigerator in the room. Coronavirus measures are thorough, such as wearing masks. There are few eating and drinking facilities in the surrounding area.

I stayed here on a 3 night 4 day trip where Shiratani Unsuikyo was the main attraction. The menu for breakfast and dinner changes every time, and there are many specialties to enjoy. The person at the front desk was very kind, listening to my travel plans and giving me directions on transportation. It is a little far from Shiratani Unsuikyo, but you can go there by bus. However, it can't be helped, but transportation costs are high in Yakushima. I was glad that I was able to order a boxed lunch to eat during the trek. Eating bento in the mountains was the best. The public bath was also clean and comfortable. It was a good trip.

I stayed here because it had high reviews on other sites. First of all, there was a staff member who couldn't open the cylinder lock of the single room, so I had a trick to open it...It's beautiful, but it's an old building with lots of trees overlooking the garage! I don't know if the slippers are also sterilized. There was a noise next to the laundry room. Even though I was the only one eating dinner, I was seated in the middle and had a different menu than the other guests, which made me feel miserable. The snoring in the next room was annoying and the walls were so thin that I couldn't sleep. I thought it would never happen again.

This is probably the best-equipped hotel on Yakushima. I stayed here to see the Jomon Cedar. The baths and other facilities were well-equipped, and considering that it is a remote island, I was able to spend a very comfortable time here (^-^*) Lemoremo♪

The staff were very kind and helpful, giving us detailed information about the local shops and other things, even though dinner was not included. We were very satisfied with the ocean blue room and the large communal bath.
