Nice hotel, Great location just 3 mins walk from Yamagata Station. Many sightseeing attractions nearby the hotel too.

The minor problem is that the door lock is very difficult to be unlocked. There is instruction to turn counter clockwise but it looks like sometimes work sometimes don’t work. Otherwise excellent.

It was so dirty that it was hard to stay.. I went there because it was the only cheap place in Yamagata Prefecture, but it was a bit lacking. I recommend paying a little more and going to a more expensive place.

No tea or coffee service. No guides in the building. This is the first time I've stayed at a place like this. The beds and the unit bath were clean and well-made, but the toilet was dirty. Overall, it was low-quality. It's probably run or managed by foreigners, and there's no Japanese sense to be found.

The reception staff were very friendly. You can choose your favorite shampoo and conditioner and take them with you. It was also nice that the sink was separate. I was happy that there was melon for breakfast.

It is located near the station, and there are chain restaurants where you can eat breakfast, as well as convenience stores, so it is very convenient. It is also very convenient to walk to the bar district.

The hotel looked very old. The entrance and hallways were generally dark, and there were about five air conditioning buttons to set the room temperature from, so there were few options and it was a little cold. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room was well cleaned and there was no dust in the corners or on the edges of the doors.

For those who are staying by car, there are very few parking spaces available so you will have to find one yourself. For example, the nearest Times Hotel charges a maximum of 700 yen for 24 hours.

The accommodation fee was cheap so I thought this was to be expected, but I have to say it was pretty much the worst experience I've had so far. First of all The carpet on the floor was very dirty. There was no telephone in the room. There was no remote control for the digital commercial TV. There was no refrigerator. There were no vending machines. The room was a normal size semi-double room, so it was disappointing.

I don't know if they had a hard time finding my name when I checked in, but they seemed to have a hard time and it took a lot of time. Also, there was no toothbrush provided, and for some reason there were only two hairbrushes, so I went to buy a toothbrush at 1:00 a.m. I couldn't even find where the light switch was in the room, so I spent the night with only the light at the entrance and by my pillow. I don't think I'll stay here again.

It was hard to figure out how to turn on the lights in the room. There were no towels so I had to go to the front desk to ask for some. The advantage is that it's close to the station and the price is cheap.

The hotel is very close to the train station and also to many exit options. It's reasonable and well equipped but the staff were extremely friendly. Would book it again.
