It was a hotel directly connected to Yamagata Station. The weather was good on the day I stayed, the mountain 々 was clear at dusk, and I was able to see a beautiful moon at night. If you walk in front of the station, there are restaurants and supermarkets, so I think it's not troublesome to stay. There was also a convenience store on the 1 floor. I would like to take care of you again when you go to Yamagata.

The location is located at the west exit of Yamagata Station and the station. Yamagata Station West exit is not many shops, and there is a vending machine in the hotel, but it is cheaper to buy it at the station. [1 floor arrangement] front desk diagonally right when the entrance is. The front desk is usually 2 name system? Breakfast venue in the back. elevator on the diagonal left. There is a sofa on the left, free coffee in the back (until 22), and a vending machine in the back. 【Room】 The bed was 2, the shelf made on the wall, the TV was placed on it, and the refrigerator was placed below. And there was a tea pack of green tea tea in the cup. ① The refrigerator was powered off at the time of entry. ② TV, but it seems to be initialized every time the power is turned off, and you can't see the TV immediately. The baggage rack is small. The outlet was not on the bed pillow, and it was on the wall of the bathroom and shelf (table). It's not good to use it.

Conveniently attached to Yamagata JR Station, for easy access to Tokyo Shinkansen, as well as to daytrips to Ginzan Onsen and Zao Onsen Ski Resort. Our room was in the newer South Annex, comfortable and spacious. Hotel granted our room request and were attentive to our stated diet requirements. We chose Japanese breakfast set on both days and they were delicious, of excellent quality and good portions. We used one of the coin laundry machines on 2F, but wished there were more machines offered on different floors.

It is about a 5-minute walk from Yamagata Station and a convenience store is nearby. Overall it was not a big hotel, but it was a very comfortable stay with a warm feeling. The room is simple, and above all, the key to the room is a PIN. You don't have to leave your room keys, walk with them, and you don't have to worry about losing them. There are not many types of breakfast that can be eaten for free, but there are local ingredients, and tamakonnyaku and potato boiled are provided daily. The day I stayed was tama konjac, and I definitely want to eat Imoni next time. I knew the hotel name for a long time, but this time I stayed for the first time. I stayed and the room was not large, but it was easy to spend and I was able to stay calmly. In the future, I would like to stay at super hotels all over the country, including this hotel.

The hotel itself is beautiful. Inside it looks like a small feodal castle. The room we had was spacious and beautiful. We come to the station on a shuttle (but it's really ready, just 5 minutes walk, attention it goes to the direction station->hotel). Kaheki is excellent. Japanese breakfast is only. Les senses sont très agréables mais ne proposent pas d'amnésie et vous n'avez droit qu'à une seule plaque de produit si bien que si vous y aller plusieurs fois, vous n'en avez plus. The team is very pleasant but speaks little English (for certain not at all). The boss is quite unpleasant, it's a pity because it's one of the last people you'll cross and it leaves a bit bitter taste. There have been several ryokans in Japan, in different regions (including Kyushu, Fuji, Nagano and Kyoto), and I think the price is too high compared to the average (no special view of whether rooms or hotels in themselves, no 'amneties, little of specific services...). The lack of proposals at Zao Onsen certainly pushes to put quite high rates but it's a pity...

An inn with a connection to poet Mokichi Saito. Waka poems written by the guests and locals are displayed, and there are *****s of paper and writing brushes in the room. The number of rooms is small, and meals can be served in private rooms. The furnishings and furnishings, and the tableware used for meals, etc., show a sense of commitment and taste. In particular, the cloudy, sulfur-scented hot springs while looking at the piled-up snow and the delicious, gentle-tasting dishes made with ingredients from Yamagata are pleasing to the eye and very satisfying. I was able to learn about the history and culture of Yamagata by receiving detailed answers to my questions about ingredients and other items. The shuttle service to the bus terminal and ropeway platform is also a nice service.
The Meitoya So provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Meitoya So is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Yamagata. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 13km from JR Mokichi Kinenkan-mae Station and 43km from Yamagata Airport. This hotel is located near many of Yamagata's attractions including Sakazukiko, Zaomiharashi Park and Aliontek ZAO Schanze (Yamagata city Zao jump hill). After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Yamagata hotel provides parking on site.

The location is good. Room is decent equipped with heater that I think is time to replace seems not working very well. The breakfast and dinner especially is very worth n nice. First night we had pork shabu shabu n second night lamb BBQ. The staffs in restaurants r friendly n good, especially the old uncle n Philippo lady . Can see all the local staffs sort of rely or keep letting the lady work only as she speak english. In other words, a bit taking advantage of her. onsen is also nice especially the outdoor with trees n snow feel. The front desk staffs r very bad. There is one young guy that just stand there and when I carry my little girl with one hand while another hand pushing luggage where I need to push the entrance door. During check in, even the philipino girl helped to push the luggage inside while the same guy just stand there n look. Another more serious attitude guy was the older shorter guy with mole on his face, I parked my car in front as there was no parking didn't know is the hotel's van lot, the guy spoke with to remove the car like scolding n yelling at me. Super bad attitude. Lastly the air filter in the room, the cleaning standard operating procedure should include cleaning the water tank n it's surrounding. Looks very dirty with mold. Overall is worth your money n experience just some negative experiences by some bad staffs. Not missing another issue is the smoking room, is the exactly at the entrance n next to the welcome drinks sofa (though with ventilation n dedicated room but still can smell the smoke)

Excellent
GGuest UserMy favorite Zao Onsen. I had only visited on a day trip, but this time I stayed for the first time because I wanted it. I stayed overnight at Zao International Hotel, which has a good reputation. There is another hotel in the hot spring town, and I thought the service that can be used for this bath was good. The drawback is that it is a little far away. The indoor bath and the open-air bath were large and I was able to take a relaxing bath. There was a cherry blossom used in the open-air bath in the rainy weather. Unfortunately the weather was nice so I didn't have the opportunity to use it, but I think the atmosphere is great if I wear it with this. The local Yamagata beef grilled on a ceramic plate was excellent for the meal. As with Yonezawa beef, Yamagata has a high level of beef. And the rice was delicious. I was also happy with the detailed service such as welcome dessert in the refrigerator at check-in. The dessert melon was delicious. If I have a day to come to Zao again, I would definitely like to visit again.
AAnonymous UserI chose it for the purpose of survival. I was told that you can change your indoor wear and swimsuit as many times as you like, so if you're staying overnight, I don't think it's necessary to bring a swimsuit as it will be part of your luggage. My room was on the first floor, and the staff told me that ``the view on the first floor isn't very good...'' but I was worried because I spend most of my time outside of my room, taking in hot springs, saunas, playing areas, and reading books. It did not become. On the other hand, it was convenient because restaurants and sauna gardens were nearby. It was nice to have unlimited water and coffee everywhere. The staff at every post were pleasant and kind, which left a lasting impression on me. I would like to stay here again.
SSometimestraveller12We went as a group of 5 to snowboard and the location was perfect, 7 min walk from chairlift 4, they also offer special deals for daily lift passes and nearby rental shop (Best Rental Shop) which was great! Fantastic onsen in the facilities open 24 hours every day (2 public and 3 private was available) was perfect for our aching bodies! The best part were the staff in particular a very cheery waiter who always delivers breakfast and dinner service with a smile! Food was delicious and showcased all the best seasonal local foods. While reception staff were not well rehe****d in english they tried their best to assist us as best as possible. They are slightly short staffed on front desk/in the shop but we were never really rushed for service and a bit of patience meant everyone is happy and you were eventually seen to! Our room was simple japanese style room with futons but very large for 5 people with nice views. We would absolutely come back here it was a very enjoyable stay!
GGuest UserSince it was Zao Onsen in Ku 々, I chose an inn that was a little better than the price range I usually choose. Is it worse to have too much good image when I look at the image on the HP? I felt that it was not worth the price. The attitude of the man at the front desk is too bad. There is a zero feeling of welcome. If you are such a person, please stop working in such a job. I don't like being able to put on a futon, so if you choose Hollywood Twin, the innermost building seems to be the type, and you can finally reach it through a long passage and stairs that seem to last forever like a maze. .. It seems that it was a room that should not be chosen for those who aim to enter the hot springs many times. No matter how many hours the check-in time passes, employees are repairing it in places, and companies with legs are wandering around in the long aisle. And bath. The open-air bath is boiling water. I burned when I put my legs in. tingling. Next 々 All the women who come in jump out or hurry out. That's hot water. When I left the bath and went to the front desk, only the man at the time of check-in. When I have no choice but to tell him, he just answers, ”I'm measuring the temperature when I change it!” What? ?? ?? After that, I went to the bath at night and in the morning, but the condition of the open-air hot water did not change. I couldn't take a bath in the open-air bath in front of me until the end, so I could only take an indoor bath. I stayed to enjoy the hot springs, especially the open-air bath, but I wasn't satisfied at all. It is an inn that I don't want to stay again.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is convenient. It takes about 30 minutes by bus from Yamagata Train Station to the hot spring hotel. When I was worried about carrying large luggage to the hotel, I saw the Shuttle Bus picked up by the hotel staff as soon as I got off the bus. I was really pleasantly surprised. In addition, the hotel is only a 10-minute walk away from the ski lift station. If you don’t want to go to the ski resort, the hotel has Shuttle Bus every morning and afternoon to arrange transfers. Just pay attention to the timetable. The hotel actually has a variety of room types, but the room we booked is on the first floor. The room on the first floor is set in the west building. There is no elevator to reach the room. It is quite difficult to carry large luggage to the room. There is no separate toilet and bathroom in the room. The decoration is a bit dilapidated, and the public toilets are small in size. If they are obese, they can’t get in at all. As there was no room category to choose from when booking, I felt a little overwhelmed when I arrived at the store. The room we booked includes 1 night and 2 meals. The food is delicious and exquisite. After staying for 4 consecutive days, the food is different every day. With the value of our reservation, the price is really high. The hotel service is first-rate. During the time, my friend slipped and broke her ankle bone in the parking lot. The hotel staff immediately called her ambulance to the hospital. After she was discharged from the hospital, she also carefully arranged wheelchair transportation. At the same time, we arranged for friends to stay on the elevator floor and have separate toilets for free. Room. Since friends need to return to Hong Kong for medical treatment early, the hotel specially arranges vehicles to be sent to Yamagata Airport (the traffic is of course charged, but the price is very reasonable), so that friends can feel at ease during the process. I would like to express my sincere thanks to every employee of the hotel for their enthusiasm and care, and fully appreciate the high-quality service level and the strong human touch. As for the open-air hot springs, they may be closed due to bad weather, and there are free massage chairs in the bathroom for free use by customers. Compared with other hot spring hotels, most of the massage chairs are made of materials, and they feel generous and considerate and worth recommending.
Yyama0923We stayed for 2 nights with two couples from June 18. The room was a large room of 30 square meters of Japanese bed on the 3 floor, and there were 2 elevators, convenient, old and weak feet. Dinner was delicious for two days with a great kaiseki dish with a good appearance and a variety of ingredients. The hot springs were in the inner bath and the open air, respectively, with a milky white bath with a rich sulfur fragrance. I was able to use it in a cheap plan, but I want to take care of it again next time.
CCHOONTECKSpacious for me. Although a bit old it good conditions. Only issue is thar the aircon it either on or off and it pretty warm so for late autumn and winter it is alright. Breakfast is either Japanese or western and the lounge is cosy. The carpark is a multi storey carpark west of the hotel so to drive past the building and anticlockwise. Good deal when I book it for 1 night. There a family mart right below.
__e244It is an old hotel, so you may not want to take a bath in your room, but their public bath is good. This place is on the hill which means you will not want to walk by your own in winter because of the slippery Mountain path. But in other hand it is really convenient because they provide shuttle bus to bus station or cable car station. And there is a ski place just in front of the hotel, you can borrow the equipments from hotel.
EExithamsterThe hotel is not far from the station. There is an elevator and the room was quite nice with a wonderful view over the city. We paid about 36€ a night which was a good price for what we got. The bathroom was small as in most hotels in this category but everything was clean and well maintained. Extra free toiletries can be picked up at the reception, who was always friendly and helpful. The room could be a bit bigger as with two bags / suitcases you have to move some furniture for storage ;-) The English skills of some receptionists could be improved. In general we had a pleasant stay at the hotel and would recommend it.
GGuest UserThe minor problem is that the door lock is very difficult to be unlocked. There is instruction to turn counter clockwise but it looks like sometimes work sometimes don’t work. Otherwise excellent.
