The hotel is located in the Financial City of Yancheng. It is within walking distance of Water Street, European Flower Street, Haiyan Museum, etc. Other attractions are not too far away and can be reached by bus. The surrounding restaurants are OK. Yonghe King, McDonald's, Yancheng Eight Bowls, Small Bowls and Lawson Convenience Store are all good. Its facilities and equipment do not look new but are well maintained, clean and hygienic. Especially the lady in the room has a good work attitude and good service, but I forgot her name, sorry. Worth recommending!

We stayed at the hotel as a family. The check-in process was easy and
quick. Being able to check in at 9 a.m. was also great. The staff members were helpful and friendly. The room was nice and spacious.
The view is absolutely beautiful, and the area where the hotel is situated was very quiet and relaxing over the May holidays. Breakfast was lovely; there were Chinese and western food options.
Just a suggestion: with the floors of the room being dusty, it would be great if the hotel had basic cleaning equipment, especially for longer stays (I do not feel comfortable contacting the staff to clean the room, especially with the language barrier, so it would just be easy to do it myself quickly).
It would also be great if a microwave, plates, cutlery, and serving utensils could be included in rooms, especially for longer stays and for parents with children. Having rooms with a play area would also be awesome, and I would definitely pay more if the above were included.
There is also room service available from the cafe on the first floor, where drinks and sandwiches can be delivered to your room, or you can enjoy it downstairs with a great book from the library.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The whole hotel has a bit of a business feel, not very gorgeous, but very comfortable, clean and elegant! This year I chose to come to Yancheng for the Chinese New Year and stayed at the InterContinental Yancheng Gangfu Hotel. Every staff member in the hotel lobby was warm and courteous, making us feel at home. The beautiful lobby restaurant and rich breakfast add to the flavor of the New Year. Generally speaking, the hardware is OK, but the service is really a bit disappointing. It's sometimes good and sometimes bad. There was a little episode when checking in, and then our reservation seemed to include a museum tour. No one at the front desk mentioned it and we didn't care. The welcome fruit was one serving per day, which was a little surprise. Although you don't necessarily eat it, it makes people feel that the attitude is OK. It depends on luck to answer the phone at the front desk. Some are enthusiastic and some are stiff. The cleaning auntie who goes out every day gives people a friendly and polite impression. Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, it is replenished quickly and tastes OK. I like their small wontons more than fish soup noodles. The swimming pool is less crowded and clean, and the reception at the door is comfortable. The boss and the proprietress of ”two trees” are very kind, (the previous is also very simple and kind, I did not expect it to be a room without a bathroom, the luggage was taken upstairs, when I couldn't say, the couple didn't have any complaints, still took my luggage downstairs and sent me).

1st impressions were good. Even though the staff spoke very limited English they checked me in efficiently (I do speak some Chinese but if you don't it's okay). The rooms are a good size and the big picture windows give great views over the public lake/park. the only downside was the faint aroma of stale cigarette smoke in the room but this is China and unfortunately to be expected.
The downside was the breakfast was very Chinese and though I love the cuisine here I'm not a lover of Chinese breakfast. It would have been better if the cook knew how to make fried eggs in different styles than just solid yokes and they invested in a good coffee machine. The coffee was in a flask....and was white....I didn't even try the bit I poured into a cup. The positive is Wuyue Plaza is a 10 minute stroll and has a Starbucks and MacDonalds!
I had a look at the gym and pool. Gym was 10 yuan, pool was 40. Both looked okay. The hotel grounds needed a bit of a tidy up but were okay. I couldn't find direct access into the lake/park area but then I was only there 2 nights.
The big convenience was Wuyue Plaza. The top floor was restaurants. A decent selection. Towards the back on the outside walking street was a decent little bar (Black Vine). Nice manager, 8 craft beer taps, lots of bottled beer.
Yes, I'd stay here again as it suited my purpose.

And opened us a room that had already been turned on and warmed by air conditioning. It was too warm. When I came to check out in the morning, I also asked us if we wanted to have breakfast before leaving. The breakfast room has local wontons and rounds that are really delicious!
The room environment is also good, there is a smell of washing powder on the sheets, indicating that it has really been changed, and there is no way to fool us. And when I left, there was a headset that was actually broken, but the cleaning aunt thought I forgot to take it and asked the front desk lady to contact me. I really need this kind of warm-hearted detail service when I go out! (˵¯͒〰¯͒˵)

The whole scenic area is in the style of the ancient town, so the hotel is antique. The public area of the hotel is very beautiful, and the interior of the room is also of the same style. The overall tone is warm wood color & white & water blue, giving people a very comfortable feeling. The hotel's sound insulation is OK, and the overall is very quiet. It is especially friendly to people who sleep lightly like me. Hotel service is also very good, the waiter speaks softly. I especially like the hotel cafeteria. The front desk is a very good lady. The restaurant is not big but has a wide range of varieties. There is actually thirteen fragrant crayfish for dinner. The most important thing is that all the dishes taste good, which is unexpected. The room I stayed in this time is basically the same as the publicity photo. There are two rooms and one living room, which is especially suitable for family travel. The living room is actually very large, and then there are two separate rooms, one for the first and one for each with a bathroom. Overall, I am very satisfied.
There is a small bridge and flowing water when you go out of the hotel. There is also a cruise ship dock. The hotel lobby screen and the waiter have the activity schedule of the entire scenic spot that day.
