Every time I go to Dafeng, I live in a chain hotel. This time, the 51-section hotel was nervous and accidentally booked Dongyuan Shuxiang. I didn't expect the experience to be superb. I grew up in a tourist city and felt the amazing service experience. I came to the hotel that night and booked a big bed room. The front desk helped me apply for an extra bed service. It was very intimate. The room environment was clean and tidy. The lake view was beautiful. It was rare that the quality of toiletries was very good. The breakfast dining experience was also beyond the pre-existing.

GG91We stayed at the hotel as a family. The check-in process was easy and
quick. Being able to check in at 9 a.m. was also great. The staff members were helpful and friendly. The room was nice and spacious.
The view is absolutely beautiful, and the area where the hotel is situated was very quiet and relaxing over the May holidays. Breakfast was lovely; there were Chinese and western food options.
Just a suggestion: with the floors of the room being dusty, it would be great if the hotel had basic cleaning equipment, especially for longer stays (I do not feel comfortable contacting the staff to clean the room, especially with the language barrier, so it would just be easy to do it myself quickly).
It would also be great if a microwave, plates, cutlery, and serving utensils could be included in rooms, especially for longer stays and for parents with children. Having rooms with a play area would also be awesome, and I would definitely pay more if the above were included.
There is also room service available from the cafe on the first floor, where drinks and sandwiches can be delivered to your room, or you can enjoy it downstairs with a great book from the library.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

It is within walking distance of Water Street, European Flower Street, Haiyan Museum, etc. Other attractions are not too far away and can be reached by bus. The surrounding restaurants are OK. Yonghe King, McDonald's, Yancheng Eight Bowls, Small Bowls and Lawson Convenience Store are all good. Its facilities and equipment do not look new but are well maintained, clean and hygienic. Especially the lady in the room has a good work attitude and good service, but I forgot her name, sorry. Worth recommending!

1st impressions were good. Even though the staff spoke very limited English they checked me in efficiently (I do speak some Chinese but if you don't it's okay). The rooms are a good size and the big picture windows give great views over the public lake/park. the only downside was the faint aroma of stale cigarette smoke in the room but this is China and unfortunately to be expected.
The downside was the breakfast was very Chinese and though I love the cuisine here I'm not a lover of Chinese breakfast. It would have been better if the cook knew how to make fried eggs in different styles than just solid yokes and they invested in a good coffee machine. The coffee was in a flask....and was white....I didn't even try the bit I poured into a cup. The positive is Wuyue Plaza is a 10 minute stroll and has a Starbucks and MacDonalds!
I had a look at the gym and pool. Gym was 10 yuan, pool was 40. Both looked okay. The hotel grounds needed a bit of a tidy up but were okay. I couldn't find direct access into the lake/park area but then I was only there 2 nights.
The big convenience was Wuyue Plaza. The top floor was restaurants. A decent selection. Towards the back on the outside walking street was a decent little bar (Black Vine). Nice manager, 8 craft beer taps, lots of bottled beer.
Yes, I'd stay here again as it suited my purpose.

As a result, I led two elderly people in their 80s with large and small bags. Xingli walked around in the lobby on the first floor. Moreover, in such a big hotel, there is no staff to deliver luggage in line, which is very inconvenient. Also, the breakfast in the hotel is not worth the 98 yuan at all. The milk is made from milk powder, and snacks such as small cakes are made from cheap plant-based cream. I probably won’t choose breakfast here again next time.

And opened us a room that had already been turned on and warmed by air conditioning. It was too warm. When I came to check out in the morning, I also asked us if we wanted to have breakfast before leaving. The breakfast room has local wontons and rounds that are really delicious!
The room environment is also good, there is a smell of washing powder on the sheets, indicating that it has really been changed, and there is no way to fool us. And when I left, there was a headset that was actually broken, but the cleaning aunt thought I forgot to take it and asked the front desk lady to contact me. It's very convenient for people. It's just a short walk away after getting off the elevated highway. It's also very convenient to take a taxi to the city. It's quiet and suitable for vacation and leisure. The service staff are very enthusiastic and greet you politely and with a smile every time you see them. The breakfast is rich and the fish soup noodles are delicious. It’s delicious. It would be even better if they could also get local specialty morning tea. The only thing I’m not very satisfied with is that the balcony faces the black swan pool. Every morning when someone comes to feed them, they will coo and disturb your sleep.
