Super lovely place to stay. Quaint, welcoming, location is a top a mountain just above the Yellow River with beautiful views of the hills. Rooms are clean, the food is amazing local cuisine. If there was anything negative…the beds have no mattress. Literally a bed frame made of wood with a 2-3 cm comforter. Yes, I prefer hard form beds, however the beds in this hotel are hard as rock, impossible to sleep on your side. Woke up with an aching back, here’s hoping the owners of the hotel do what’s needed and provide actual mattresses, a basic type will do.

This is the first time I stayed in this kind of cave-dwelling hotel in northern Shaanxi. I didn’t expect it to feel very good. The front desk staff was very serviceable and knew that we had a lot of things, especially for us to arrange the rooms closest to the parking lot, and the ancient town of Wen’anyi was in the hotel.
