Mercure Guilin Yangshuo Xingping

Traveling to Guilin with my kids, Yangshuo is a relatively small city, so finding a brand-name hotel wasn't easy. The hotel facilities are decent, and the breakfast is good with a wide variety of options. The front desk staff also provided good service.

The soundproofing in the rooms is terrible. There were too many tour groups, and it was especially noisy at night.

The hotel is very close to Xingping Ancient Town and also conveniently located for catching the bamboo rafts. I stayed with my child, and the room was spacious and clean, which was great. The view from the sixth floor is exactly like the photos. It's perfectly situated for exploring the scenic area and enjoying delicious food, all for around 20 yuan. Although communicating in English was a bit challenging, the staff were incredibly kind. My child was thrilled to receive a small gift at check-out.

The room was incredibly spacious, with a well-designed wet and dry separation, and separate toilet and shower areas. The soundproofing was excellent, the bedding was comfortable, and the environment was peaceful. The front desk staff were very warm and attentive, and the breakfast spread was rich. The location was also very convenient; Xingping Ancient Town is just diagonally opposite. If you walk straight across the floating bridge, you can reach Chaobanshan Pier to see the 20-yuan banknote scenic spot. Head left, and you can take a ferry to Xiangong Mountain. Overall, highly recommended.

Cleanliness: The cleaning staff did a great job maintaining hygiene throughout the day. Environment: The surrounding area is very convenient with many dining choices. Service: The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

My elderly family members went traveling, and Mercure Hotel was listed as the number one high-end hotel in Xingping Town, so we chose it over a private guesthouse. My elders said the room was very spacious, especially the bathroom, and they had a comfortable stay. The surrounding area is also quite lively, and dining options are convenient.

Got a free upgrade to a mountain view room, which was great! The balcony was huge, perfect for sitting out and enjoying the mountain scenery. The smart assistant (Xiao Du) was really handy for controlling the AC and curtains. I could also cast to the TV. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic, and breakfast was good too. The location is super convenient, right in the middle of the main street, next to Xie San Jie, and just a short walk to Laozhai Mountain.

Extremely satisfied. The environment is elegant, and the front desk service is very professional.
