Staying at Serenity Inn was wonderful! The hotel staff is very nice and friendly (also they speak perfect english), the place is super quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful countryside (that can be easily explored on foot or by bike), and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Bikes can be rented at the hotel. Also, the hotel can arrange a free pick up from Yangshuo bus station! Perfect place for enjoying nature and relax!

The view is pretty good. There is a wild mountain nearby that you can climb. I knew the room was at the end of the village. But it is inconvenient without a battery car. I saw other reviews saying that the cooking tastes good. I think it is just average. The price is not expensive, but you can't say it is cost-effective. For example, the 16-yuan Guilin rice noodles for breakfast do not have sour bamboo shoots. There is a bowl but peanuts are missing. I think they are sure that there are no other options nearby. Overall it is OK.
