Hotels in Yulong River National Tourist Resort, Yangshuo

Stayed in the duplex room - favourite hotel throughout our month long trip! Clean, huge, spacious, comfortable, had an extra bed downstairs etc. lots of food options around, walking distance to west street.

Location It's 'in' West Street rather than 'on' West Street. Surrounding the hotel is the Pedestrian shopping area. It is filled with street vendors and evening activities. Despite this the noise level in the hotel room is fine. You cannot hear anything from outside even during the evenings. Great location. Room The room itself (we were in the Cinema projector room) is large enough but it did lack a fridge. We were only there for 2 nights but any longer and this may be an issue. The room is clean. Daily housekeeping provides bed tidying, trash emptying, and new towels each night. One issue thing is that housekeeping turned off the AC and unplugged my charging plugs (to be fair, nothing at the time was actually being charged) but I do like coming back to a super cold room after a hot day so I didn't like the AC being turned off. If you are deciding on the Cinema room, be wary. It is a good movie-watching experience and there are lots of Chinese and Western films. But, it has to be in low light. You must close the curtains..... but the curtains still let in light through the bottom. You will also have to turn off the lights and this is another problem. Normally one light switch controls one light. But this hotel has smart switches where one switch can control several lights and there was no combination that we found can allow the room to be dark enough for the screen but allow some light so you are not sitting in total darkness. This meant we turned off all room lights and turned on the lights in the bathroom. The bathroom is large but a few issues here too. The toilet is not a smart bidet toilet. Just a normal one. No big issue.The shower is a bigger issue. There are two showerheads, a tall one high on the roof and a handheld one, pretty normal. But the handheld one is tiny, and as a guy who prefers the handheld one, it takes forever to use it thoroughly enough. Another issue with the bathroom is the fact that if you sit in the room you can look inside the bathroom and see whomever is showering. The glass is frosted so its not clear and as I was with my wife, its not an issue for us. But if you have a twin room then maybe its an issue if you don't want someone to see you showering. But the bathroom has a heated towel rack and large heated mirror and good shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided The bedroom floor is an issue. I weigh 75kg and in places on the floor you step it feels as if the floor is flexing under you. Then I saw that part of the seam of the wood looked like its coming up and if you were not wearing slippers then maybe you could cut yourself One last issue with the room is the level it is on. As mentioned before the hotel is on the street. So if you keep your curtains open, anyone on the street can very easily see into your room. It lacks privacy. Breakfast: I must say this was disappointing. You have mini-croissants and plain sliced bread for toast. You have rice, noodles, mini chicken sausages and eggs. There's a noodle station also so you can get some cooked to your desire. But it just seemed lacking in options. Service: Very warm and friendly and patient staff. You can ask questions (in English) via WeChat and they often reminded me about times for breakfast and if I was okay so far. Common Areas: The hotel is very modern. Lots of places to sit and every surface is designed well with interesting and modern materials and furnishings. Extras: Laundry room is good. 4 modern washer/dryers. sinks to do hand washing and an excellent steamer to iron clothes The hotel has a spa but we never used Overall: The only other hotels that may be better than this were much more expensive and in a worse location. So with BO Hotel, you get a very pretty hotel with a modern look, a large room with nice features (cinema screen), great service from staff and all for a low price and in an amazing location. Yangshuo then for 3-4 days or less I would return. Any longer and I would want a fridge and a gym

One of the best hotels I have ever visited! The room was beautiful, and super clean (I am very picky about hygiene and cleanliness but this hotel was perfect in this sense) and service was good, location was also nice since it was so tranquil and the surrounding was quiet.Even there is a comfortable car arranged by hotel! One of the best was the professional photo session offered by the hotel, you can select a beautiful traditional costume for free, and also they will provide all the accessories and even there is a makeup artist to take care of your makeup, so you don't need any nice clothes or makeup as everything is organized by the hotel photography place. I loved all the photos they took, they beautify the photos so all look amazing, had difficulty choosing!! The photographer is so professional and they have amazing costumes!! Dressing up and makeup and phorography session all free of charge when you book the hotel! They give free photo but I bought some because quality is amazing! Will definitely visit again!

Beautiful views, big and comfortsble room. Quiet surroundings but close to the atractions. The guy in reception speaks english which is very helpful, he helped us to organize trip and tickets. They also rent scooters for very reasonable price. Full chinise breakfast. We would stay here forever with these views!

The location of the hotel is 15 minutes car ride from the Main Street, but it is not difficult to order a taxi so this was not a problem for us. We were celebrating my birthday and were given a room upgrade with a wonderful view with a bed that can rotate and face the view, and a big bath tub that also faces the view. The view in the lobby is also breathtaking. The room is super spacious, there was lots of fruit provided, and also a tea set. Given the price of the room, I was disappointed with the shower amenities and the packaging was not very representable. There is also no coffee machine in the room. Service was amazing and the front desk added me to a WeChat group and they would respond instantly. They delivered sweet soup every evening, and also a birthday cake and gifts (Guilin snacks) before we left.

It’s the perfect choice of accommodation at Yangshuo that you wouldn’t want to miss. The room is very new, spacious and clean. The hotel is very thoughtful to provide every guest with plenty of bottle water, welcome lucky draw and gift. Every single service staff that I’ve met during my 2 nights of stay are beyond helpful, always carrying a smile, respond very timely and conveniently via WeChat. Apart of the amazing amenities and location, this hotel comes with plenty of complimentary and accommodating services such as free car ride to neighbourhood vicinity, complimentary breakfast, teatime, good night dessert and complimentary professional photoshoot for a certain duration based on your room type which the photos can be uploaded to your phone conveniently after the shoot - shout out to photographer Dai Dai who guided us on the pose and took amazing photos. Special thanks and grateful to 梦华 for his hospitality, patience and driving us to our site seeing or dinning location whenever the chauffeured car is available. I will highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit the beautiful Yangshuo and receive the best hospitality service in town!

This hotel was perfect for a weekend stay. It has a private pool and private lawn overlooking mountains and the river. The hotel gave us a free upgrade to a spacious room with a Mountain View and even with the gloomy weather it had amazing views. The complimentary breakfast had quite few options and they hotel even served Tang Yuan sweet dumpling soup in the evenings. The location was convenient to access most major tourist sites and yet secluded enough without crowds. The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful with travel tips and ticket bookings. The house keeping was good too. Would really recommend to others.

We stayed here for four nights, so we feel we got a pretty good idea of the area and the hotel. The check-in process was easy and very fast, you just need to show them your passport/travel cards. Once we got our our room (there is an elevator), the rooms automatically have curtains that open and music that plays. It’s quite loud at first, but you can go next to the bed to turn off the music or else it’ll do it every time you enter your room and put in the room card haha. The room is clean and the beds are fairly comfortable. While traveling in China, I’m usually curious as to how hard/soft the bed is, but it was a lot better than I expected. The place is new, so the rooms are still in good condition. We really enjoyed our room, the view was nice, and it was quiet. Although, because the rooms have the music that turn on each time you put in your room card, you will be able to hear the rooms next to you music play if they don’t turn it off haha. What we really enjoyed was how we had free coffee and fruit everyday! I didn’t realize it was everyday of your stay, I just thought it was one time. You can choose between americano or latte. They also have free ice cream! So many perks of staying here. We rented scooters from them and it was a little bit more than the surrounding places, but we felt it was worth it because of less hassle. We also enjoyed the breakfast here. It is a bowl of Guilin noodles with vegetables and pork, and they have self-service soy milk, buns, sweet potato, and corn. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back. Also!!! Check out the bbq place across the road from here, it’s really good and service is amazing.

Amazing stay at this resort!! Highly recommended! Feels totally well taken care of by staff, who are friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Restaurant food was reasonably priced compared to outside venue. Love it even more that the hotel advocate sustainability by reducing single use plastics! Easy to commute from hotel to tourists spot via DiDi. Communication with resort can be easily done via WeChat if needed. All credit to the front desk ladies for their patience, good-nature and friendly reminders! During one of our evening excursion to watch the acclaimed Liu San Jie show, one of the ladies voluntarily gave us blankets to take along, highlighting that we will need it. And true enough, while other audiences either suffer the cold or had to rent additional clothing from street vendors outside the venue, we felt blessed wrapped up in a blanket. Thank you for the wonderful stay! Will choose this venue again when I next visit Yangshuo.

It's my second time to visit Guilin. This hotel is new. It didn't exist four years ago. The rooms are newly renovated and very beautiful. The windows of the room we stayed in were sealed and very quiet. The room was quite spacious and the lighting design was very soft. I liked it very much. It was hard to find the parking lot of the hotel, but the front desk lady came to show us the way. The hotel has a laundry room, which is very convenient. It's about 600 meters walk from West Street and not noisy. The disadvantage is that the pillow is too high. I don't like high pillows. I hope that in the future, the merchants can give customers more choices, with high and short pillows to choose from. A good sleeping pillow is very important. When I left, the front desk lady also gave me a souvenir, which was an unexpected surprise and made the trip more happy.
