Staying at the Xi Shi Jin She Hotel was an incredibly healing experience amidst the beautiful landscapes of Yangshuo. The hotel is located right by the Yulong River, and with the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you're greeted by stunning karst peaks, with bamboo rafts slowly gliding by on the river – it feels like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and tidy, the toiletries were of excellent quality, and the facilities were exquisite and comprehensive. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were fresh and delicious. The rooftop infinity pool offered amazing photo opportunities. It's also super convenient for visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery. This is definitely my top choice for a stay in Yangshuo, a perfect experience!

This hotel exceeded our expectations on a return visit. The views from the window were stunning, surrounded by mountains and water. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the staff were polite and enthusiastic. There's a pool in the courtyard for kids to play in, and the facilities are comprehensive, including a washing machine, dryer, and a drying area.

I found this to be an exceptional hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, helping me book local experiences at discounted rates exclusive to hotel guests and providing a range of complimentary activities, including afternoon tea, an evening sweet treat, a singing bowl session, and a craft-making workshop. Breakfast was included, and I also enjoyed dinner at the hotel, which was excellent. As a vegan, it is not always easy to find good dining options in China, but the hotel was able to provide delicious vegan meals, which I greatly appreciated. Communication was handled through WeChat, with regular updates and helpful reminders from the staff. Because everything was managed through the app, the language barrier was never an issue, even though most of the staff did not speak English. I also enjoyed spending time in the outdoor swimming pool, and there was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. It was a wonderfully relaxing break, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

In Yangshuo, many hotels have beautiful mountain views, but this hotel stands out because it is not only scenic, but also very quiet, peaceful and comfortable inside. For us, this was a huge advantage. This is a warm family-style hotel where you feel that the owners truly care about every guest. The hostess was always nearby and personally paid attention to the quality of service. The staff were very friendly, polite and always ready to help. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was done on time, and everything felt well maintained. For this level of room, the price was very reasonable, which makes the hotel a very good value for money. Another big plus is the swimming pool. For a family trip, especially with children, having a pool at the hotel is a real advantage compared with many other hotels in the area. One of the nicest details was the afternoon tea with sweets — it made the stay feel even more welcoming and personal. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and relaxing, which is exactly what you need in the mountains. The garden, the views, the fresh air and the peaceful environment helped us rest properly. The night before, we stayed in another hotel where it was noisy and uncomfortable because of construction nearby, so here we especially appreciated the silence, cleanliness and comfort. We finally had a proper rest. This hotel is a great choice for families, for people travelling with children, and for anyone who wants a quiet and cozy place surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. Для нас это было огромным плюсом. Это уютный семейный отель, где чувствуется настоящая забота о гостях. Хозяйка всегда была рядом и лично контролировала качество обслуживания. Персонал очень доброжелательный, вежливый, всегда старался помочь и сделать проживание максимально комфортным. Номер был очень просторный, чистый и удобный. Уборка проводилась вовремя, всё было аккуратно и приятно. Для такого уровня номера цена, на наш взгляд, очень недорогая, поэтому соотношение цены и качества здесь отличное. Отдельный большой плюс — наличие бассейна. Для семейной поездки, особенно с детьми, это действительно важное преимущество по сравнению со многими другими отелями в этом районе. Также нам очень понравились приятные детали: послеобеденный чай со сладостями, зелёный двор, красивые виды, свежий воздух и общая спокойная атмосфера. В горах именно такой отдых особенно ценен — здесь можно по-настоящему расслабиться и восстановиться. Ночь до этого мы провели в другом отеле, где рядом шла стройка, было шумно и душно. Поэтому здесь мы особенно оценили тишину, чистоту и комфорт. Мы наконец-то хорошо отдохнули. Отель отлично подойдёт для семей с детьми и для тех, кто ищет не шумное место, а спокойный, уютный отдых среди красивой природы. У нас остались очень тёплые впечатления, с удовольствием вернулись бы снова. Очень рекомендуем.

♥️ One of the best hotels in the Yangshuo area! During this trip, we stayed at four different hotels in Yangshuo and the surrounding area, so we definitely have something to compare it with. And I can honestly say that this was one of the best hotels of our entire trip! The hotel is not located in the town itself, but in the incredibly beautiful countryside surrounding Yangshuo, right among the famous karst mountains. In my opinion, this is exactly where you should stay if you are coming to this region for its spectacular nature and iconic scenery. The views are absolutely breathtaking! The karst mountains surround you almost 360 degrees. You open the curtains in the morning and the scenery in front of you is simply unforgettable. Having stayed in four different places in this area, we can genuinely compare, and these were some of the most beautiful views we experienced during our entire trip. The hotel itself is completely new, and you can feel it in every detail. The rooms are huge, modern and extremely spacious. Everything is new, spotless and of excellent quality. I especially want to mention the wonderful bed linen, beautiful high-quality towels and the overall quality of everything in the room. It is a genuinely comfortable and pleasant place to stay. A very special thank you to the staff. The service was exceptional. Everyone treated us with incredible warmth, attention and genuine care. They would even message us on WeChat in the morning to ask if we were awake and invite us to come for breakfast. ♥️ Small gestures like this make you feel truly welcome and cared for. Another highlight is the swimming pool with an incredible panoramic view of the karst mountains. It is probably one of the best places for photos. Swimming while surrounded by this extraordinary landscape is a very special experience. Upstairs there is also a beautiful café with panoramic views and lovely photo spots. The hotel grounds themselves have many beautifully designed areas for taking pictures. If you love photography and want to take some truly spectacular photos during your trip, you will absolutely love this place. The location is also very convenient for exploring the surrounding countryside. You can rent a scooter directly from the hotel and easily visit many of the beautiful natural attractions nearby. Riding through the countryside surrounded by the karst mountains becomes an experience in itself. But above all, what made our stay truly special was the people who work here. We are sincerely grateful to the entire team for their hospitality, kindness, help and the genuinely warm way they treated us throughout our stay. Hidden deep in Xingping's mountains, this century-old house became a repository of sweet memories from my daughter's graduation trip. Our biggest surprise during my daughter's kindergarten graduation trip was stumbling upon this guesthouse nestled in the mountains. It's not just a place to stay; it feels more like a century-old home gently embraced by time. The weathered blue-grey brick walls whisper tales of years gone by, while the wooden beams and window frames still bear the imprints of a bygone era. The scattered dark tiles seem to catch every sunrise, sunset, and cloud formation the mountains have to offer. From a dilapidated old farmhouse to its current incarnation as a courtyard house boasting both a Western restaurant and bar, as well as a Chinese restaurant, it has shed its former roughness while preserving its most precious original charm. What truly touched me was the service. When we wanted to go to the county town at night, the owner not only promptly helped us arrange a taxi but was also incredibly warm and helpful. The guesthouse's ambiance is also incredibly photogenic; my daughter took so many pictures she loved, her smile even brighter than the mountain sunshine. This wasn't just a stay; it was like a conversation with the past. It's definitely one of my favorite guesthouses I've ever stayed in. Thank you for tenderly restoring this old house and for making our journey so warm and memorable.

Waking up and opening the window to a lush green landscape was so relaxing and refreshing. The front desk offers electric bike rentals that are in excellent condition with plenty of battery life, and at a great price. It was super convenient for riding to Yulong River and Ten-Mile Gallery, allowing us to enjoy the scenery with the wind in our hair – so free and enjoyable. The service was thoughtful and attentive, making getting around incredibly easy. The value for money is unbeatable; choosing this place for your trip to Yangshuo is definitely the right call!

Yangshuo Sugarhouse has always been a hotel I've wanted to visit, and a serendipitous opportunity finally brought me here, marking my first trip to Yangshuo. True to its pictures, it's exactly as you've seen it. Admittedly, it's no longer a new hotel, and I had some reservations beforehand, as similar-priced hotels in the same category might offer larger, more luxurious options. However, for design enthusiasts, Sugarhouse is special; it's a destination in itself. My first impression was that the hotel is reasonably well-maintained, and the service is always pleasant and attentive. I always assumed these were standard expectations in such hotels, not worth mentioning. Yet, it wasn't until I truly experienced the various facets of Yangshuo that I realized Sugarhouse is an oasis in this bustling, chaotic, and often less-than-pleasant destination. Yangshuo is beautiful, but its natural charm isn't always enough to offset some disappointing tourist experiences. You might exert a lot of effort trying to soak in the legendary landscapes, only to be left unsatisfied, perhaps due to early mornings or overwhelming crowds. But at Sugarhouse, you can intimately connect with Yangshuo's mountains and rivers, as they are right outside your room, beyond the iconic pool view. During the day, you can fully immerse yourself in nature undisturbed, and as dusk falls, the lights of Impression Liu Sanjie illuminate them, making you a part of the landscape. Finding such tranquility in this destination is incredibly precious, a realization I only had after switching to other hotels. The service here carries a hint of genuine, endearing awkwardness, and you can sense that achieving this level of service isn't easy. The bartender at 1969 Bar recommended a special concoction when I was indecisive, allowing me to savor the last season's season of loquat gin, which was unforgettable. Lucy at the front desk was incredibly helpful in resolving my issues, and when I pointed out some minor flaws in the room, they were already being addressed – truly tiny details that not everyone would notice, demonstrating their genuine care for guests. I met a gentleman at breakfast who enthusiastically and meticulously introduced me to oil tea and proactively helped me carry it to my upstairs seat when my hands were full. On my departure day, I even saw him standing at the lobby entrance at 36 degrees Celsius, assisting guests. Later, I learned he was the hotel's general manager. The people here are sincere and responsible, and what initially felt like minor imperfections transformed into a stark difference after comparison. I can give the experience here full marks. Some friends might find it too boring, with too many cars on the highway outside the rooms. But if you've experienced the endless swarm of electric scooters, the ubiquitous paid parking lots, and the so-called villas that cost 3,000 yuan with no view whatsoever, you'll realize that not only is the pricing here quite fair, but it's also almost the only viable accommodation option in Yangshuo. Of course, this is just for reference if you don't plan on venturing out, but Sugarhouse still offers many interesting services that make it a highly recommendable choice.

The hotel also features a kids' playground 🎠 and an outdoor pool 🏊, making it easy to keep the little ones entertained. The rooms are clean and tidy with excellent attention to detail 🏠. The breakfast buffet offers great quality, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles taste superb 🍜. A good breakfast sets you up perfectly for the day ahead. Located by the Li River, with smooth access to the underground parking. It's also very close to the commercial district, making dining and getting around super convenient. Again, the rooms are clean and tidy with great attention to detail. The breakfast buffet is high quality, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles are truly delicious.

I had a truly satisfying stay! The location of Wangjianglou is unbeatable, very close to West Street and the Li River, making getting around super convenient. I specifically booked the 'Leisure Courtyard View Twin Room,' and it was clean, tidy, well-equipped, and completely odor-free. The courtyard environment is incredibly tranquil and peaceful, a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The twin room was spacious enough; my family and I didn't feel cramped at all. The staff were friendly and responsive. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. It was an impeccable accommodation experience, deserving of a five-star rating!
