Marriott Yantai

The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel is right behind the Gold Coast, offering beautiful views. There are electric scooters available for rent behind the hotel, which makes getting around super convenient. Rose at the front desk was very attentive and explained everything clearly, especially the areas I wasn't familiar with. She was fantastic.

The room was quite clean, and the beef noodles and soup dumplings for breakfast were delicious, as were the donuts. They also provided fruit, snacks, and apple juice in the room. We were given a late check-out because our travel photography took longer than expected. Overall, I'm very satisfied. After the tide went out at noon, there were so many small crabs and live seashells on the beach right outside the hotel. The kids spent a long time collecting live shells, and when we left the hotel, we released them back into the sea.

I was in a room on the 19th floor, right next to the restaurant. I got woken up 4-5 times between 10 PM and 1:30 AM because of the loud banging of the restaurant's access door. Don't they consider their guests at all? The first night, I thought it was other guests, but the second night I realized it was the restaurant next door. This is absurd; it's not personal, but this situation is ridiculous. I haven't had a good night's sleep in two nights.

Our stay at the Yantai Xinguang Marriott Hotel was absolutely fantastic! First off, the location is unbeatable – you step right out onto Golden Beach, no roads to cross, which is incredibly convenient. The sea view is unparalleled! The room was spacious and tidy, well-equipped with all amenities, and even had a scenic balcony. Airla at the front desk was so warm and helpful; she even upgraded our room, which offered an especially beautiful view! The huge floor-to-ceiling windows provided an amazing vista. On top of that, they thoughtfully provided sand toys for the kids, which was a lovely touch. The environment is peaceful yet central, and the value for money is exceptional. It's the perfect choice for a family vacation, highly recommended! The photographers and retouchers for the travel photoshoot were also very patient with communication and during the shoot.

This truly lives up to its reputation as an established five-star hotel! The service was impeccable. On my first day, I got the breakfast time wrong, and the staff even helped me arrange for a later meal, which was fantastic! Upon check-in, I also received a complimentary room upgrade. I have to say, the view from the restaurant during breakfast was absolutely stunning, and the sunset was equally beautiful. The beach is right outside, making it super convenient for kids to play in the sand. I'll definitely choose Marriott again on my next visit here!

This hotel is quite close to the airport. We got an upgraded room which was very spacious, perfect for families with kids. You just walk through the garden to get to the beach, making it super convenient for playing in the sand and looking for seashells. We ended up extending our stay for another night! Even on a rainy day, there's a mall nearby which is great for dining and shopping.

Our stay at the Yantai Xinguang Marriott Hotel was great. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, with no signs of age or damage, and even the small details are well taken care of. The room was thoroughly cleaned, spotless in every corner, which gave us peace of mind traveling with a child. The room was spacious, allowing our child to run and jump around freely. The view from the window was expansive, perfect for enjoying the scenery. The beach is right downstairs, beautiful for digging in the sand and collecting shells. Mango's service was just right – attentive without being intrusive or overly chatty.

The hotel's scenery is absolutely stunning, with an unbeatable sea view and a fantastic location. However, I found it a bit inconvenient that they only provided one room key card and required a separate request for the power card. Also, there were a lot of people as a company was holding a training session there, making breakfast feel like a cafeteria experience.

Definitely five stars! We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to an executive room. The room was clean and comfortable, and although the facilities were a bit dated, it didn't affect our experience at all. We had a stunning, unobstructed sea view. Waking up to watch the sunrise over the ocean with my bestie, with all the beautiful morning glow, was absolutely magical and really set the mood. The service was also incredibly thoughtful and attentive. I had such a wonderfully comfortable stay this trip, and I'll definitely be back!
