This hotel has a very poor service attitude, and the room type is inconsistent with the reservation. It is obviously false advertising. It is also very dirty. Don't stay there.

The overall environment of the hotel is good, but the hardware facilities are relatively old compared to five-star hotels

My partner and I have just returned after a one week stay at oceana , we were there to celebrate his 50th birthday I was a bit worried when I found out the hotel wasn’t a TUI blue as it was when I booked it, I need not have worried , we were greeted by the hotel manager who was super friendly, we were given a welcome drink which was great as it was so hot, I had messaged the hotel to upgrade our room to a sea view , it was so worth it , the room was very spacious and clean and the view was incredible, the pool area was very chilled and the staff at the pool bar was very helpful and incredibly hard working , the guys in the lobby bar was amazing! Fantastic drinks they were very knowledgeable and great fun especially makrahm ( I’ve probably spelt his name totally wrong! ) the food in the main restaurant was very varied , something for everyone and the staff again were great! Last but not least the lady on reception was the nicest person! So friendly and always had a smile if I had any criticisms about this hotel it would be that the beach bar doesn’t open until June and the adult only area pool needs some attention, staff were organising what looked like a new outdoor restaurant or bar which would be fantastic! We had an amazing stay at oceana the beach pool and grounds are tended to do well , the jewel in its crown tho are it’s amazing staff team , we will definitely return to this hotel

Staff are unbelievably friendly and service excellent, too many to name but Sameh and Saleh at Reception couldn’t have been more helpful. Had an emergency at home and mobile signal was poor. Salah quickly arranged for me to call home from reception, saving me in excess of £1000 (bank fraud). Not a massive english cooked selection for breakfast but continental was good. Food is awesome, rooms slightly dated but good and facilities great. Recommend the hot stones massage in the Spa. We are here now but leave Friday 🥺

This has to be one of the easiest, stress free holidays ever, the resort is clean, well maintained and the staff will always go the the extra mile to help you. Salah on the desk with his team are so welcoming, attentive and friendly and you immediately feel settled from the moment you walk in. The bar staff are all great, sitting in the lobby round the bar listening to an amazingly talented gentleman on the piano was a highlight. The spa facilities are great and very cheap in comparison to the UK so would highly recommend!! Always sunbeds free and the watersports available are great and the beach has it's on bar so you can sit back relax and be served from your sunbed. Great all round experience and again would highly recommend!!

We arrived late at night and were greeted by about very friendly receptionist Monsef. We were very late but they were aware and made us feel welcome. The hotel itself is grand. The entrance atrium is huge and has a cool bar and lounge area. Some evenings there is adult entertainment in the form of pianist, singer or music. The hotel is immaculately clean everywhere I barely went into a toilet without there being a cleaner in there. The rooms are very generous and we had a large balcony overlooking the pool. The pool area is very clean. The pool is cleaned daily and gardens well maintained. The waiters serve well at the poolside. Zacharan was extremely helpful and polite. The pool bar is also quite a cool place to hang out. It’s a nice setting so should do food. Sadly even out of main season people were reserving beds with towels as early as 6.15 and not coming down until much later. They should stop this but there were enough beds. The dining experience was brilliant with loads to choose from with a mix of traditional Tunisian food and other western cuisines. All inclusive buffets are never going to be the best food but this was perfectly adequate and we qlsways found something. Fresh eggs and made to order omelettes, pancakes and donuts in the morning and the same with pasta, pizza and grilled meat and fish in the evenings. My only criticism was that at the start of the dinner service there should be more control over allocation of tables and the Maitre D should take people to tables instead of allowing people to push in. It was chaotic at times The food was plentiful but if you went in later not all the deserts had been replenished. As half board we were entitled to one inclusive meal in the a la carte restaurant. We ate in there and the food was amazing. The hotel was fantastic and I would stay there again. It’s a brilliant place to relax The staff were really so keen to please and were so so helpful Sadly outside of the hotel complex whilst the people are extremely helpful I have never seen so much litter all over the place and it spoilt the holiday. We went on a 2 day tour around Tunisia covering 1300km and the rubbish is absolutely everywhere from villages and towns to mountains and deserts. It really is such a shame. There isn’t much to do in the evenings outside of the hotel which is a shame I’ve seen other reviews say it’s loud. This hotel is not loud BUT on occasions you could hear the entertainment from the hotel Next door but it didn’t go on too late. You can walk along the beach to the harbour. There are a few places here but it all felt a little prickly. In the old town you have to be really firm with sellers in the Souks. Barter them down. This too was not massively welcoming if as a tourist you went into a bar. We were grossly overcharged for drinks even though the prices were displayed I understand they need tourism but at every opportunity they do try and get more money from you so agree taxi prices before you get on and

We had 4 nights in September in Oceana, very welcoming staff, thanks to Mr Salah in the reception for his great attitude and kindness to offer us an upgrade to the royal suit. The royal suit is so huge and clean with two bedrooms and a small kitchen. So impressed with the Breakfast and Lunch Buffet offerings. The selection was outstanding, catering to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences. I also enjoyed the 3 swimming pools around the hotel. The beach was so clean and clear ( private beach ). Daily room service and cleaning is also excellent. Yasmine Hammamet Center is only 5 min away by Car. I really recommend this 5 star hotel for couples and Families. Can't wait to comeback next year. Thanks again to all the staff and Mr Salah.

I honestly couldn't fault this hotel and my experience and believe me, I am the fussiest traveller every! This was everything I was looking for and more. I had such a relaxing and peaceful time. The hotel was beautiful and our room was huge, clean, well stocked and extremely comfortable. The restaurant and staff were exceptional and we were well fed and well looked after. There are plenty of sunbeds whatever time you arrive at poolside and everything is cleaned and well maintained. It is very relaxing, nobody is mithering you to go on trips, have spa treatments or do activities - the tone was perfect. There is entertainment each night for a few hours but its not too much, something for everyone. We didn't leave the hotel to go outside so I don't really know the area, although we did go on the beach which was beautiful and clean. Of course you get people who are scruffs and throw their rubbish where the please but they are in the minority. I cannot wait to return soon for another relaxing time. Thank you to all the staff.

If I had to sum up this hotel in one word, it would be 'pollution'. The beach is littered with rubbish, to the extent that it's hardly an exaggeration to say that it's difficult to make out the sand beneath the rubbish before going for a swim. For those who enjoy an environment that is constantly (except in the mornings between 5am and 1pm) deafened by noise, this is the place to be: loud music everywhere at all hours, making a moment's peace impossible. To top it all off, a discriminatory dress code seems to have the sole aim of forcing men to buy trousers in the hotel bazaar, rather than corresponding to the standing of a restaurant where the food often ends up on the floor. A blatant lack of respect, and an experience I would strongly advise against.

First things first.. if you are flying in from Scotland be aware your morning flight will get you there around 10am and their check in time is not until 4pm. However this is not the disaster you might think as the staff are quick to offer solutions, one of which was a room to change in and that suited us just fine. *The receptionist was quick to note my partner's grumpy face on arrival (it made me chuckle.) Although we had to leave home at 3am to drive to Glasgow airport, 2 sets of road diversions and then a warehouse fire at the car parking place delaying us to the point we feared we would miss check in, so he was allowed to be a bit grumpy.) :p We travelled without physical cash as Tunisia has controlled their access to currency. This was an issue for us as being Scottish we knew our bank notes are not always recognised, so we assumed that with currency converting services being listed at the hotel we would also be able to withdraw money there. Nope. After 24 hours to catch up, my partner headed off on foot along the beach to withdraw cash. This went a bit south as the cash machine swallowed his card, which he then promptly cancelled. Another 24 hours went by and he decided to try again with another card at an actual bank, success this time. Now to the actual hotel and facilities. We were perturbed by the hotel requiring male guests to wear long trousers, that would have been fine if TUI had put this on their website, they hadn't and the rep seemed exhausted by the sheer mention of it. *Come on TUI, it's not that hard to amend information, don't blame the hotel for trying to keep standards up.* It was unfortunate that the only long trousers my partner had with him were his travelling outfit, his jeans. Not very comfortable for him every evening, *especially as there were females walking around with little shorts on, same rules for everyone would be fairer hotel take note* Our room was massive, it didn't have a little swim up outside the patio area and so it did look rather barren out there, perhaps something could be done with the area? Our bathroom did have a couple of issues, toilet not flushing (fixed straight after reporting) Hose leaking (also fixed straight away.) The shower area did not have a door, while this was no issue for me my partner is somewhat larger and found he soaked the floor without the door, the chrome was also pitted and marked as you would expect with a few years of use, but the water pressure was excellent as was the temperature and the tiling was beautiful. The food was good, healthy, and abundant. I ate a lot and yet somehow lost weight on this holiday, most likely because of the things I was choosing (even with all the little cakes and the Tunisian doughnuts smothered in honey every day.) The staff are absolutely wonderful, humorous and keen to chat with you. Probably one of the things that made this stay so wonderful was that the hotel itself was not full and there were only a handful of well behaved children i

We have just got back to England after staying at this amazing hotel, We have stayed at this hotel previously and got the exactly the same service as before very welcoming on arrival. Waiters, Cleaners and Bar staff can not do enough for you making you feel comfortable nothing is too much trouble and are always happy to help. Indoor & Outdoor pool are cleaned every morning and are kept clean though-out the day also plenty of sun loungers for all with shade. Waiter service round the pool & beach are brilliant with regular frequent visits during the day. Restaurant service is very attentive with drinks also it is kept very clean with a good choice of FRESH cooked food for example Fish,Meat,Pasta and Pizza so all in all well worth a visit. Rooms are larger than average with a separate dressing room and a large balcony with a table and chairs and a outdoor sofa. We also had a amazing evening on the Beach view Restaurant they put on a amazing BBQ for all guests with live entertainment. We would like to say a massive thank you to Front Office Manager Salah Mlaouah and the young lady on Reception also the rest of the staff. As without there help and kindness after our flight was cancelled due to a IT Outage. We were transferred to another Hotel which we did not want to stay at, We contacted Oceana back to stay back at the hotel and they organised a room and taxi back for us. During our extra stay there they could not have supported us enough. Making sure we had everything we needed we finally left the hotel 2 days later, they organised all the transfers to the airport for us. I would also like to thank the rep Ozer for all his help during the stressful time with having our flight cancelled. We look forward to seeing you all again next year Thank you again J. Turner
