Saginoyu Onsen Yasugien

The proprietress is very kind. The contact lens bottle I left in the room was specially wrapped in plastic wrap and placed on the car door handle (on a rainy day). Thank you, the proprietress. The room facilities are a bit outdated, there were not many guests at the time of check-in, and the private and public baths are exclusive to each other. Also, the bathrooms in Japanese rural hot spring hotels do not have hot water, so you are encouraged to take a bath.

I stayed in the hotel next door four years ago and it was amazing. However, I forgot the name and mistakenly thought it was this hotel. In fact, it was completely different. This restaurant was opened in 1969 and the setting is very old. The room is extremely cold. I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night and rolled up a blanket and shivered. The pillows were made of chaff leather and were very hard. The mattress was thin and hard when spread on the floor. My lumbar spine was very painful all night. Didn't sleep much. There was no hot water in the private bath and the large bath was very small. The shower took a long time to get hot water. Check-in is only possible at 3:30 in the afternoon, and breakfast ends at 8:00 in the morning. Breakfast and dinner were Japanese-style, which was quite average. In the afternoon and evening, there was only one female proprietress in the entire hotel, and an old lady served breakfast. I didn't see any other staff. The picture attached is the hotel next door where I stayed before. Please don’t make the same mistake as I did this time.

The house is a very Japanese-style house, and you can take a dip in the hot springs at will. Everything inside the house looks old. If the furnishings could be simpler, it would have a residential feel. I hope it can be updated. The aunt and sister at the reception were very kind and attentive. I forgot to bring a kettle when I left. The aunt delivered it to the car in time. I hope Juncheng’s customer service can communicate with the store. If they can improve the utensils inside, it will be a good idea to go to Adachi. Great place to stay in an art gallery.

The breakfast is very good, old-fashioned hot spring hotel, a different experience.

This hot spring inn is located very close to the Adachi Museum of Art. I used it for a day trip. The spring contains low levels of radioactivity, and there is a lot of sediment at the spout. The hot spring is clear and powerful. I couldn't stop sweating. The bathing fee is 400 yen.
