The Hotel is located at convenient location. Restaurants, banks, supermarket...etc are all within walking distance. The front desk staffs and the restaurant servers were very nice, friendly and helpful. Just recommended the Explorer to a couple who are planning to visit Yellowknife next year.

Location very strategic. Near downtown. But lack of ameneties, they dont provide tooth brush. Receptionist very helpful.

It was an enjoyable stay

Free shuttle to and from airport. Facilities are ok. Great view of Frame Lake.

The sanitary environment is good. It may be the best hotel in Yellowknife. Opposite is the Great Slave Lake. The scenery is different in the morning, noon and night. There is a free airport bus that you can take. The distance is about five or six kilometers.

It is said to be one of the better hotels in the area. Its facilities are equivalent to those of our three-star hotels. There are many places to rest in the lobby and the overall service is good.

Generally speaking, it was average. When I checked out the room, I found that there was a problem with the electrical system of the TV and the desk lamp was broken. However, after the engineering staff repaired it, there were no problems. After the first day of housekeeping, I forgot to give towels and coffee, so I called the housekeeping department and sent them back.

The Explorer Hotel was a great hotel with a great location and a charming lake view outside the window. The friendly staff greeted us and the lobby was nice. It was clean overall, but I wondered if the old floors were being cleaned. The restaurant on the first floor had a good atmosphere, but it was too expensive and not that delicious.

It's easy to get to from the airport, and the shuttle bus stops there, so it's great for stopping off at the Aurora Borealis. It's located downtown, so it's convenient for shopping. There's a parking lot, so you can rent a car.

The hotel is old and the temperature of the bathroom shower is difficult to control. There were only towels and cups for two people despite a reservation for three people. However, the service attitude of the front desk staff was very good.

The location is very high, the scenery outside the window is very good, the staff are very friendly, and any problems are solved quickly. The restaurant in the hotel tastes good and the environment is very good.

The lobby is well set up! But then all the facilities are old! Not worth the price! The only thing is that the location of the hotel is good! The attitude of the front desk clerk is average! Hope there will be improvement in the future!
