Island Brook Estate Vineyard and Chalets

Our first trip to Margaret River, it didn’t disappoint. The tranquility of the chalet was amazing - beautifully presented with all that you would require for your stay. Wine tasting was another added bonus. Thanks for a great stay - would definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our 3-night stay in Semillion. We’d booked the Cabernet chalet originally, but a maintenance issue meant we had to be moved - no problem at all, and we appreciated the communication about it! Our chalet was spotlessly clean, and we loved the firepit (once it stopped raining!) and the grill on the terrace. Secluded and peaceful, but still incredibly convenient for exploring everything the area has to offer. Jill was responsive and helpful, and our private wine tasting with Karen was a real treat!

Great welcome. Wonderful location. They prepped the fire pit and we were able to enjoy the evening. Next morning we had breakfast with a few Roos bouncing past.

Tranquil, well furnished Chalet, great owners, very welcoming. Complimentary bottle of their beautiful Island Brook SSB was a wonderful surprise. Wine tasting at Cellar door and just a beautiful place close to Margs and wineries. Loved it will be back again.

Beautiful cabin

We stayed here for four nights to visit & explore the Margaret River. Overall, we were very disappointed by the property given the price point. The location was atmospheric in the woodland, and was quiet apart from some music that could be heard from nearby. The furniture was comfortable and it was very clean. When contacted about a broken light, the property manager was quick to respond although did not complete all the repairs we reported. However, there were several things that really fell below expectations and made the property feel cheap. The kitchen had no oven and no condiments or cooking supplies whatsoever — not even salt and pepper. The knives were blunt, the kitchenware was cheap and worn-out. Only one bin-bag was provided. There was no welcome pack, no information about the local area, and no in-person welcome. Overall we would not recommend this property.

Lovely accommodation in a tranquil and private setting. Walking round the vineyard was interesting - it was just a shame we couldn’t taste the product! The bbq was great. Would recommend the chalet - the Cabernet chalet was perfect for two.

We stayed 4 nights in the Semillon chalet, and it was a beautiful , relaxing, Christmas holiday. The king-sized beds were so comfortable, as were the two couches in the living area. Decor was contemporary and tasteful, and the kitchen equipped with everything we needed. Water pressure in the shower was great, although having a shower over the spa tub wasn’t ideal for us (this is the only reason I haven’t given the chalet a perfect score). Great communication from hosts; Jill and Natalie both made us feel welcome. Parrots dropped gum nuts on our roof from about 4:45am each day (when the sun was already coming up) … made sure we went to bed early! A delightful bushland experience, that we just embraced. The tranquility and birdsong were heavenly. Loved it!
