Louis Phaethon Beach

I have stayed in many hotels and I must admit the food & staff are second to none (especially the waiter Demitris (Jimbo) the evening waiter who is charming and very friendly with everyone. Making conversation and most importantly making you feel at home) The restaurant has so many choices of food so pleases majority of people. The hotel staff really go out of there way to help and sort any issues at all One of the pools has activities but there are quiet areas you can sit in like we did. And they always announce when music louder. Bathrooms & main corridors could do with a little updating ( but not a problem) We will seriously consider returning here.

We spent 10 nights here from June 19th and they were just perfect, when we arrived we greeted by Rudi the manager with beer and champagne. The Hotel has a few pools , we usually stayed around the quieter pool near the fantastic slides which are great fun for kids and adults alike. Sunbeds were never a problem we could come down after 9 and still get a sunbed around the quieter pool. The main pool sunbeds do get towels on them very early. Drinks were standard all inclusive affair, but the keo from the main bars was served in bottles , which I did prefer. Food , wow absolutely fantastic, never had a bad meal , first time done AI and not had to go out for a meal somewhere else. Staff, absolutely the best , very very friendly, with special shout out to Ahmed in the restaurant and Olympia bar waitress. The only downside is the hotel is furthest away from the Harbour of the hotels on hotel avenue, but there is a bus stop right outside, think it was just 2 euro each. Whilst the harbour is nice , it is expensive. Would. We go back ? You bet we would intact we are looking at going back next year.

My name is Kevin Van Cauteren. Our stay in the hotel was amazing. We had a great time for our third visit. The food was delicious, atmosphere in the bar was serene. Swimming pool was wonderful in temperature. The animation was wonderful, just like the previous times with Ryan, Hazel, Lily and Eva. These four animation team members were amazing to be with and they deserve huge praises for their dancing and/or singing. I was happy to see Alex, Alice and Ella again after our visit in September. Meeting the new animation member, Naya, was a blast and we had good laughs together. She was an amazing young woman and her dancing is incredible. I wish her the very best in her future career at Phaethon, and in the future altogether. I want to thank all of the above mentioned animation members for the great times they gave us throughout our stays in the hotel.

This hotel is fantastic – you will not be disappointed! I rarely write hotel reviews but had to on the occasion! My wife and I travelled with our two daughters (aged 1 and 6) during the UK school half-term holiday in October 2023. We booked all-inclusive for 7 nights. The hotel is near to the airport so a short transfer by coach or a short taxi ride. On arrival, the hotel has a lovely big entrance and the staff were all friendly and helpful, as they were throughout the holiday. The hotel complex itself is large, with a large dining area, bars inside and out, swimming pools with plenty of life guards, water slides…pretty much all you would want. The entertainment team are fantastic with activities during the day as well as in the evening. The food is excellent – so much to choose from every day and the F&B manager Raphael was very helpful when we informed him about our daughter’s nut allergy. The outdoor bar and restaurant are also great. Everything is clean and tidy; I really can’t find a fault (…and we’ve been to many destinations across Europe). The closest beach is just a short walk away however it is not great (pebble beach and very deserted) so if you want a nice beach, you’ll need to walk a bit further down or jump into a taxi/bus which is easy enough to do. A special mention to the Ops Manager Rudi who went above and beyond to look after us on multiple occasions. In one example, we found that our room was smaller than we had expected which was making it difficult for us to manage (mainly due to our 1-year-old running around and requiring nappy changes etc). Note – the rooms are fairly small so check this if you are a family and may require more space as we did. We asked if a larger room was available that we could move into instead. Rudi explained the hotel was full but said that he would do what he could (…I wasn’t expecting anything). The next day, Rudi moved us into a much larger room. This was totally unexpected and extremely kind of him. I know we got lucky due to the availability but the fact that he had no hesitation to change our room without any obligation to do so is a testament to the team and this hotel – excellent management where the hotel guests are given fantastic treatment to make their holiday memorable. You will definitely enjoy your stay here! I am now looking for a family summer holiday for 2024 and extremely tempted to return to this hotel. Enjoy!

Went for a week beginning of June, arrived around 22:40 and was greeted at the doors and asked if we could put our cases to the side and showed us to the restaurant, food was amazing, once eaten we checked in and given our wrist bands, once we got to our rooms it was nice and quiet even though there was entertainment on. After a good nights sleep on really comfy beds, we went for our first breakfast, food again was amazing, they had a different theme night so plenty of variety each day, staff very friendly and polite and they were very quick at taking empty dishes away from table, this set the scene for a brilliant holiday nothing was too much for any of the staff, cleaners were there everyday and room was always clean, on our last day before we left to go to airport Staff were there and shook everyone’s hand before getting on the transfer bus. There was plenty of entertainment throughout the hotel and at the pools, something for everyone best holiday ever just wished we could have stayed longer would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely go back, so Thankyou Louis Phaethon beach for an amazing holiday.

I went to this hotel based on the reviews and pictures and was a little disappointed. The hotel is old and in need of updating, the rooms are tiny and the balcony is too small for more than 1 person. The bed was so soft it had a dent in the middle which was changed after I notified reception. The rooms were clean though and nice bath towels. The communal areas are very tired and the sunbeds and hotel pool towels are in desperate need of renewal, several towels had holes in them and the beds were damaged. The food was ok. On a positive note the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough and were the saving grace for the hotel, they all worked hard and were cheerful and helpful. I didn't find the music too loud I sat at the quiet pool and couldn't hear it and at night if I was in the room while the entertainment was on it never disturbed me.

On arrival the room we were given was on the ground floor. On opening the door there was an offensive smell of damp/mold. I opened the patio door, the tile from the room to patio was broken and partly missing. Easily an accident waiting to happen. It was late and we were tired. We were disappointed. We asked for a change of room, which was actioned. The room we were moved to was clean and without the offensive smell. The carpets in the corridor are damaged and some have been patched with odd patterns. The accommodation area needs updating. The bathroom has new units, however it hasn't been sealed around the sink or bottom of the tiles. An attempt has been made around the bath/shower area but is yellow and very messing. Slapped on and lumpy. Not pleasant to the eye. Buffet food by pool is the same every day. Cocktail sausages, chicken nuggets, Bolognese. Then a Chinese style buffet. It's the same every day, which isn't exciting at all. No local dishes or burgers, all very bland. That said, the positives are the waiters and entertainment... They go above and beyond. Especially Ahmed (Amer). He puts a smile on our face every day. Can not do enough for everyone. Greats guests and attends to whatever is needed with a smile on his face at all times. Such a kind, genuine person. We thank him for making our stay better. Thank you.

What an amazing stay! Some of us have been before and we travelled as a family of 11 for our first big family holiday. Always loved travelling to cyprus and this stay was just absolutely outstanding! We had a room facing the front and was a little noisy with cars but didn't bother us and people seemed to slam doors at silly o'clock in the morning. The breakfast, dinner and tea there is so much choice, so definitely wasn't struggling for food, drinks were done by yourself in the food hall and in foyer they had loads of choices you just need to ask as there was only a cocktail list ( strawberry daiquiri not enough 😉 ) The only suggestion i would say is the fruit needs to be covered as so many fruit flies was sat on all the fruit so kind of put me off. Towels you can get from the indoor pool for the sunbeds and be changed, the pool area is spacious and clean and also have food and drinks outside at the bar, they serve hot and cold! Everyday at 4pm they have waffles with sauces and toppings and these were just amazing so definitely try them!! A big thankyou to manager michel, our daughter wasn't very well for 2 days and he was so helpful and caring regarding the situation, nothing was a problem and he always went out his way to help! Absolutely gutted to have left this beautiful place as i feel like cyprus is my second home, can't wait to come back someday and wish all the staff the very best! We had a wonderfull 10 nights stay at this hotel , The hotel was lovely and clean and facilities were very good Food was very good with lots of different dishes to chose from (changed daily to different themes),Staff were always on hand to help with a friendly disposition!! Especially Ahmed who looked after us in the restaurant ,nothing was to much to ask and he always had a smile on his face. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends!!
