We arrived in the afternoon and we're given drinks and cakes whilst filling out our forms, nice touch. We took our selves to our room which was on the ground floor with no balcony and extremely limited seaview even though we had paid for a seaview and balcony. The room also smelt damp. We queried this with reception and we're advised we could move the next day which we did to a 2 nd floor room with a balcony and seaview and no smell! The room and bathroom are quite small and could do with up dating but clean. Mattress was extremely soft . Cleaners did a great job everyday. The pools are nice ,very warm ,we used the slides too, good fun. The holiday for us was made by the staff and the food. Staff around the pool were friendly ,lots of entertainment to join in with if you wanted to buy not forced into anything. Ahmed in the restaurant worked extremely hard and welcomed us by name at every meal and found us a seat, some of the other waitresses could learn from him. The food was really good ,lots of choice and good quality at each meal. Unfortunately the soft drinks and cocktails are not great ,sugary syrups We didn't see many of the evening entertainment but what we did see was good. If you like to go to bed early ask for a quiet room as the entertainment and bar are outside and it's quite noisy with people outside until 2 am some nights so you can't leave the balcony door open . Not a problem as it was so hot when we were there that the Aircon was on all night. You can walk into Paphos along a coastal path ,takes about 45 mins ,lovely walk and beautiful sunsets just at the side of the hotel. We hired a car from the company in the hotel . Easy to book and decent car. Bus stop just outside the hotel
