Good location and service

Beautiful hotel in traditional Qing dynasty style with penjing trees in the peaceful Taoist garden. The hotel is run by a lovely young couple who are very friendly and welcoming, we ate one dinner & two breakfasts, the food was excellent value, simply cooked & delicious. Room with wood panelling and underfloor heating was very cosy - we visited at Chinese New Year so the temperature outside was quite cold but we were warm in the room. Car park was a few minutes walk away but on the first night and the morning we checked out the hotel owner used his golf buggy to transport us and our luggage to the car. The hotel is located within Xi Di ancient village and is perfect for exploring the village especially at night and early morning. Would definitely stay again and will recommend to my friends.

We booked a double room, which is suitable for couples. It is recommended to book a larger room for family travel. The boss and his wife are very nice, and they have both cats and dogs. The big dog Laifu is very well behaved, and the children can pet him at will.

The boss is very enthusiastic, the environment, hygiene and service are all very good, the boss cooks well too, I recommend everyone to come and play!

The room is clean and tidy, the courtyard environment is very beautiful, and the old houses are hundreds of years old and very charming. Before coming, I was worried that it would be musty due to humidity, but in fact, there was no smell at all! The boss would pick us up and drop us off when we went back and forth, and there was also a little yellow dog in the store to lead the way, which was very cute 😆😆

The quaint style has been updated with modern amenities. While adhering to the old tune in a small town, it actually meets the needs of city people, allowing us to comfortably plunge into this paradise. The housekeeper is polite and takes the initiative to introduce tourist attractions and Xidi features. The service staff has a positive attitude and is very helpful. The room itself is elegant in style, with cute skylights, neat supplies, and a bookish feel. Living here is like seeing Nanshan leisurely.

The room is very clean, the environment is extremely beautiful, the layout of the small courtyard is very elegant, and listening to the rain by the railing has a special charm. The owner is very enthusiastic and the stay is very comfortable. I will choose it again next time.

I stayed in Xidi for two nights, and stayed at Moshangju on the first night. Sometimes the accommodation experience when traveling can directly determine your impression of a place. Fortunately, I chose Moshangju as my first stop, which made Xidi even more memorable. First of all, the proprietress was gentle and patient, the room hygiene and environment were good, and then the boss's cooking skills were so good. The stinky mandarin fish and home-cooked tofu were indeed "very well cooked" as the boss modestly said. I basically ate all the meals at the boss's house for two days in Xidi. The price may be slightly more expensive than other small restaurants, but the hygiene, ingredients and taste are completely reassuring. The pickled peppers pickled by the boss's family are so delicious that he also gave us a can. You can stay, eat and drink tea, and there is also an exquisite and beautiful small courtyard. The two bosses are so sincere. I hope to come back again if I have the chance.

My mother and I both like this B&B very much. The B&B is located in the Xidi Scenic Area. We arrived at the location of Parking Lot No. 7 of the scenic area. There is a ticket gate here, and the owner came here to pick us up. The owner introduced that his house is an old house from the Qing Dynasty, and it was later renovated as a B&B. The scenery in the courtyard is also very beautiful. It is very pleasant to drink tea and chat. The proprietress was also very enthusiastic and took a map of the Xidi Scenic Area to explain to us how to visit and where we are... In addition, before booking, I saw that the previous guests said that the owner's cooking skills are good, and I also wanted to try the owner's skills-pickled pork and fried eggs with acanthopanax peel. Not bad, not bad, it is really delicious 😋 I have already agreed with the owner and the proprietress that I will stay at his house next time I come, haha

Great yard, super nice boss, the boss is also good at cooking. There are cats, dogs and yards, my dream yard! I should have stayed a few more days, but unfortunately the itinerary cannot be changed. I will come next time. I took the room key with me when I left. It seems that there is a will in the dark. I will come back!

The whole courtyard is very clean, the sanitary conditions of the room are also great, and the decoration is also very attentive. Lai Fu and the kittens are very well-behaved and very friendly. The boss and the boss's wife are very enthusiastic and cook very delicious food. We had two lunches, one dinner and dinner here, and tried different dishes of Anhui cuisine. Mo-style tofu, pickled pork with preserved vegetables, and stir-fried meat with dried bamboo shoots are especially recommended. The next day was sunny. We basked in the sun in the yard, boiled tea around the stove, and watched the cats and dogs sleeping in the sun. It was really healing. When we left, the store still sent us with a sightseeing bus. This time, Lai Fu can follow to see off the guests. Don't be too excited! In short, it is a homestay that I will want to come to again. I can feel the store's attentiveness. It is highly recommended!
