Located beside the South Entrance to the village and facing the water-body (see photo of hotel with red banners). Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices. The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there. 这不单是很特色的建筑楼房，我们仿佛回到了历史上了！ 小红和小桃为我们的服务特佳，给了我们很温的感觉！

This is a gorgeous hotel in a 300 year old house with a lovely courtyard garden. At the edge of the larger of Hongcun’s lake it was easy to wander through the town but slightly quieter than some of the other streets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice Chinese breakfast.

Hongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

Perfect location in the middle of the ancient village. We’ll restore and refurbished. Super clean. Service is ok but the amenities are quite limited. Breakfast was not included but I bought croissant and coffee….not the ideal choice, better to go for local. So far it was a nice experience thought.

Truly great place. Very friendly and well trained staff, wonderful Huizhou house tastefully renovated and decorated. Everything is clean and tidy. Feels like a home. The garden is an oasis of peace when you need to get away from the crowds.

Hongcun Guiyun Shanfang is highly recommended. It has an excellent location - located on the bank of Nanhu Lake. You can see it as soon as you enter the south gate ticket office. The owner of Guiyun is very tasteful. The bonsai plants and furniture in the courtyard are all elegant. The housekeeper, Xiao Tao, was kind and prompt, making us feel at home. The breakfast is delicious and the bathroom is modern and comfortable. If I return to my old place, I will return to the clouds again.

Close to the South Gate, very quiet, a very comfortable accommodation experience ~ The butler service is considerate and meticulous, and the homestay private dishes are also very appetizing. If I have the chance, I will stay here again!

The ancient style is very artistic. The most important thing is that it is clean and sanitary. The store lady is very kind. It was raining and she sent us to the car. I was moved and thanked

I've been there twice~~The environment is amazing~~The service is very warm and thoughtful~The food is clean, fresh and delicious~The tea is also delicious~The small desserts made by the boss lady are also delicious~I will come again!

The inn is located on the lakeside, making it convenient for travel; the pine wind and bamboo shadows, the pavilion stone fish pond, the flowers and green grass complement each other, embellishing the Hui-style buildings and the beautiful courtyards. Sip a cup of Huangshan Yemaofeng and enjoy the slow time. Perhaps the scenic spot is famous, and the housing price is a bit high; visiting the village scenery, the simple background has a slightly strong commercial atmosphere.

The restaurant has exquisite landscaping. You can see the Hui-style gatehouse as soon as you enter the door. On both sides are fish ponds with lotus lanterns inside and restaurants with the fragrance of gardenias. There are many bonsai in the courtyard, including a pot of plum blossoms and a pot of Huangshan pine, and a pot of wisteria bonsai that is about to bloom. The boss saw that I like bonsai and was very happy to take me to see the various varieties of bonsai he raised. The guest room we stayed in was in another courtyard. The geographical location was very quiet. Compared with the bustle of Hongcun, this small courtyard was quiet in the midst of the hustle and bustle. The room was also very clean. Except that the bungalow felt a little damp, there was no difference from the hotel. The innkeeper and the proprietress were very enthusiastic, and the housekeeper was also very attentive. They would ask us how the dishes tasted after we had our meal. When we were eating, the boss came over to toast because I like bonsai. It was a very good travel experience!

The location of the homestay is excellent, right in Nanhu Lake, and the south gate of the scenic area is right outside. It is a large courtyard in the Hui style with a good environment. The room is very clean, and the housekeepers are very capable and provide thoughtful service. Hui style cakes were also given as souvenirs in the room.

The hotel is in a great location. It's just around the corner after entering the South Gate. All the staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home. The Anhui cuisine in the B&B is also delicious and not expensive. There is no need to go out to eat. Our two families went there together and stayed in an independent courtyard with an independent small courtyard. The children had a lot of fun playing in it. The whole courtyard is also very beautiful. It is really highly recommended. Before checking out the next day, we took a walk in the courtyard. The lovely staff also explained the story of this courtyard to us. It was really good...
