My stay at the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was a mix of delight and slight inconvenience. The hotel's interior is beautifully designed, featuring many artistic elements that create a unique and charming atmosphere. However, there were some small design issues that detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience. One issue was the bed frame, which was positioned in such a way that it was easy to accidentally knock into it. Additionally, the courtyard rooms, while picturesque, were not directly connected to the main building, requiring a short walk, which was less than ideal during rainy weather. Furthermore, navigating the hotel involved quite a number of steps and uneven surfaces, which could be hazardous if one is not careful. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel's overall ambiance and artistic flair made for a memorable stay. With a few adjustments, the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel could truly shine as a top-notch destination.

The stay at Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was remarkable. Received a call from the host (小李管家) while on the way to confirm my arrival time and needs. She even helped me arrange a driver to pick us up from the Huangshan North train station at a reasonable cost. Driver (李师傅) was friendly and gave us lots of tips while visiting Huangshan and we ended up using his services throughout the 3 days we were there. When we arrived, 小李管家 was right at the hotel entrance waiting for my for us and checkin into our rooms was a breeze. Rooms were clean with all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. Most impressive was the hotel layout and design which was very artsy and minimalist for a place like Hongcun. It was simply amazing! Me and my family especially loved the lobby and the coziness especially in front of the fireplace during winter. Hotel Location was within walking distance (200m) to Hongcun Ancient village and around 40mins drive to Huangshan mountain and around 1.5hrs drive to the Huangshan North Station or Tunxi Ancient Street. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and relatives if they are planning to visit Huangshan one day!!!

The lobby is beautiful and we were able to meet a cute black cat that wandered along with us wherever we went. Breakfast was nicely portioned on the rooftop. We went during winter so it was definitely colder and our air conditioning had a little problem but the host was so nice and brought up a heater for us which we had no problems then and even gave us a little midnight snack 😊 recommend for anyone looking for a laid back stay at hongcun

We came with my friend 1 night and it is really a lovely and well designed micro hotel ! Excellent location ! Staff is very helpful and friendly ! As we are foreigner …. Just missing the coffee for breakfast ! We will come back with my family !

I love this decoration. The terrace in early summer is very artistic. Drinking beer, watching an open-air movie, and enjoying the evening breeze are very comfortable! 🐱Little** is lively and playful, and is earning cat food seriously! The front desk and all the waiters are very enthusiastic, even the cleaning lady and the restaurant lady will greet and chat very enthusiastically. The hotel is not far from Hongcun, and you will pass a stream and a forest on the way, which is a unique scenery.

Pros: The hotel is in a good location, the food is delicious, the auntie cooks well, the service attitude is also good, the details of the bathing products are OK, and there is an air purifier. Cons: The sound insulation is very poor, it is definitely not suitable for people with poor sleep. The room service department can prepare some welcome fruit tea and the like, and the lobby can prepare some for those who drive far away, so that the customer experience is better...

The best B&B! All the staff are very enthusiastic. It's the ceiling of B&B in my mind. It's a 10-minute walk from Hongcun. Even if you don't go out and just stay in the B&B, you won't feel lonely. The house is very clean. I originally booked to stay for two nights, but later I couldn't help but stay for another night. Friends, don't worry! It's a very friendly choice especially for people traveling alone!

It's clean and tidy, the design is very romantic, the housekeeper is very considerate, the driver who introduced me is very nice, the price is fair, and there is a black and white cat that I can pet. I will choose this one again when I come to Hongcun next time.

We originally booked a homestay in Hongcun, but later we were afraid that it would be too noisy in the scenic area, so we temporarily changed to this one outside the scenic area. It turned out to be a wise choice. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the entrance of Hongcun. The rest area on the first floor is very large and very good for taking photos. There is a kitten and two colorful parrots. The children will go to play with the kittens as soon as they return to the hotel, and they will not feel bored staying in the hotel all the time. The view from the terrace on the fourth floor is very good. It is really a must to have breakfast while looking at the scenery!

A luxury homestay worthy of five-star praise. What you see in the pictures of the merchant is what you get. It is a cost-effective choice for leisure travel in Hongcun👍 Traveling with my mother, the first choice is quiet and comfortable. After reading the reviews, I decisively gave up the homestay in the village and chose one outside the village. Although it is a little far away (about 200 meters from the west gate of the scenic area), it is quiet and clean, and it is very close to the bus hub, which is very convenient for travel. If you live in the village, you have to drag your luggage along a long stone road, which is also very strenuous. The public area is very spacious and has a sense of design. Fruits and tea are self-service. This year's Huangshan Maofeng will be amazing! Tete said that the cats in the store are clean and quiet. There are also two macaron-colored birds, and their calls are also very nice. Although the breakfast is ordinary, it is very thoughtful.

We had a very comfortable stay from entering the hotel to leaving. We also liked the people in the hotel very much. They were very enthusiastic and the decoration style was also very much liked. We had to set out to climb Huangshan at 6:30 in the morning. Normally, breakfast would not be served until around 7 o'clock. The hotel specially arranged for an aunt to come to work early to cook noodles for us. I was really touched. I will stay at our house again next time I come to Hongcun. Ps: I will miss the kittens in the store❤️

The environment is superb. It's only a seven or eight minute walk from Hongcun Scenic Area. The hotel has meals in the morning, noon and evening. It is the best hotel around the scenic area. Everyone from the boss to the cleaning lady is very enthusiastic. I will go there again in autumn!

A very stylish homestay, not only aesthetically pleasing but also with great service. In the leisure area on the first floor, you can make tea around the stove freely, and fruits and snacks are also free. The lady also baked delicious sweet potatoes. In the morning, I had breakfast on the terrace while looking at the scenery. It really felt like home.
