This was our third or fourth year in a row that we came here and it's probably the last. The quality of this hotel service has dropped significantly. The rooms are unbelievably hot. All of the guests have been complaining about it. The hotel has turned off the central air conditioning so nobody can turn it on or off in their rooms. Instead they offer you fans that don't do much. And the portable ACs that also don't really do much. They just make the room very humid. It was impossible to sleep. Everybody was drowning in their own sweat. The cleanliness of the hotel is also very bad. They don't vacuum unless you are in the room watching the people clean. My friend did that and they vacuumed her room. We were not in our room. We came back when they just finished cleaning and the floor was not vacuumed. There was trash everywhere. The hotel has smoking non-smoking signs everywhere but people smoke everywhere. When we came into the lobby the first day it was like walking into a bar. This is supposed to be a family friendly hotel and second hand smoking is extremely bad for children and also adults and nobody seemed to care. People were smoking on every floor. There was trash cigarettes everywhere. They didn't clean it for 4 days and the hotel's excuse was that they tell people not to smoke but the people still do it which is not true. They were not telling anybody or asking anybody to smoke outside. They just let people do whatever they wanted and people simply thought it's okay. The pool area that you have to pay for extra, which is okay was extremely dirty for the first two days. There were two young kids working there that didn't do anything. Just walked up and down. People were smoking inside the hot springs area and again it was like a nightclub. There was no oxygen. The trash was everywhere. The sauna was filthy. You could see old cups food plates everywhere. When you were sitting inside the pool. The trash was all around you. It seemed like the hotel told the workers inside the swimming pool to clean up a little bit, but of course they told them which guests complained about it. So the next day we didn't exactly feel very welcome. People were also eating hot dogs inside the pools drinking inside the pools which is clearly not allowed. There are signs everywhere but nobody said anything. People were jumping inside the pools diving. Nobody said anything and there seem to be no lifeguard on duty. Only the workers who are supposed to be taking care of the food and drinks. The quality of the breakfast is also much lower now, it's a Chinese buffet breakfast which is usually very good, but they don't offer many things. It's much less than in the past 3 years so it's very disappointing. Not many options for anyone. Maybe the hotel should also put up some non-spitting signs because the people were spitting everywhere on the carpet in the hallways inside the elevator in the hotel everywhere. And of course there are no workers anywhere to tell them that this is not exactly appropriate for a 5 star hotel. And the kids play room was never vacuumed, same trash every day. Very dirty. Given all the above. The price of this hotel is way too high. This hotel is not five star hotel anymore for the service they offer it's extremely expensive and the service does not reflect the price. It's too bad all the above happened because the location of the hotel is good, it has great access to the center and local restaurants. The hotel also has nice room sizes.

This is my second stay here and they did not disappoint as far as the service. There was construction going on our first night which we didn’t know until we paid and went in. Wish they had of mentioned the largest pool was closed. It was open the next day but I feel like the first day was a wasted ticket. Breakfast can be skipped if you are looking for Western choices which I was. The sushi place next door is good and there’s tons of food just walking distance from the hotel. If you are a foreigner be ready to have people taking videos of you in your bathing suit. I was there to get away so I tried to go at times when people were eating. Not everyone is this intrusive but just be aware. Great on service and clean and comfortable rooms. I had a room with a hot tub which was one of the highlights. Def do a mountain hike and pick strawberries if they are in season. Enjoy your trip!!

The customer service here is top of the line. We stayed here after hiking Mingyue Mountain. It was a rainy day and our clothes and shoes were soaked. When we asked if they had a clothes drying service they were happy to help. They took our wet clothes and washed them and they brought us two shoe dryers that got shoes dry in less than an hour. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and general manager stopped by to greet us and help ensure our order was correct since our mandarin is not strong. The food was quite tasty. We had the spicy beef with celery, stir fried noodles, cabbage and eggplant with green beans. The spa here is also very relaxing and great for sore legs after a long hike.

Felt at home! Erin at the front desk spoke English and was always offering help for anything I might need. As a foreigner, I often feel out of place as some hotels-not here! Restaurant offers amazing attention and service too-breakfast was top notch with plenty of options 😊

Hygiene: The overall sanitation of the hotel is quite good. The room on the 3rd floor is not damp and has no odor. The private soup in this hotel is really nice, and it is really clean and hygienic. The breakfast must be praised. The breakfast manager Betty is super nice. I chose this hotel because I like the hot spring bath in the room (not in the bathroom). The room was clean and tidy, and the restaurant price was reasonable compared to the scenic area.
