Grand Boss Hotel

It's been a while since my last trip to Yilan. I chose this hotel because a friend was performing nearby. When I booked, I specifically requested a high floor away from the elevator. However, upon check-in, we were given a room on a low floor, right next to the elevator. Plus, the air inside the room was very stale when we first entered. After bringing it up to the front desk, they kindly helped us change rooms. The air in the new room was much better, but the shower drain was crooked, causing water to pool up. Perhaps it's an older hotel, as the breakfast was just mediocre. If convenience is your priority, I'd recommend this hotel. It's right next to Dongmen Tourist Night Market, there's a McDonald's downstairs, and a 24-hour supermarket nearby for any last-minute purchases. There are also plenty of restaurant options. It has parking and is close to Yilan Train Station. 👍👍

The location is great, right in the city center. However, the facilities and rooms are a bit dated.

This hotel is perfectly located right next to Yilan Train Station and offers convenient ground-level parking. While the hotel itself is a bit dated and the interior facilities show some age, they are generally well-maintained. The breakfast, served on the first floor, offers a standard selection of dishes.

Service: We arrived in Yilan late at night and checked in. The two gentlemen at the front desk were very warm and polite, and even told us about delicious local snacks nearby! However, the two waitresses in the restaurant the next morning were quite indifferent, which was a bit disappointing. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy, meeting star-rated standards. Environment: The hotel is right across the street from the night market! Even though it was raining, the night market was conveniently located under a bridge, so we didn't get wet at all. Yilan is truly a comfortable place to visit, perfect for a slow-paced trip without rushing, with activities like dolphin and whale watching, and farm animals.

The hotel is a bit old, but it's clean and tidy with no cigarette smell. It has carpeted floors. You can see the hotel sign from the train station.
