Lakeshore Hotel Suao

The hotel is very conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the train station, with several snack bars nearby. The hotel's restaurant is actually quite good too, so you can dine there if you don't feel like going out. The room facilities are a bit dated, but the hot spring is amazing. It was my first time trying a cold spring, and I felt completely refreshed afterwards. I would definitely stay here again given the chance.

The rooftop pool and hot spring pools offer fantastic views, perfect for watching both the sunrise and the nightscape. They even print the sunrise time right on your room key, which is a very thoughtful touch. Plus, the breakfast has a great variety of options.

Not enough indoor parking spaces. The three elevators are extremely small, and one of them was even broken, making the wait time for going up and down ridiculously long. It's advertised as having two double beds, but each is only 160 cm wide—way too small for two people to squeeze in. Considering this is supposed to be an Ocean View Family Room, I'm not sure if it was an issue with booking through a third-party platform, but despite the building being 14 stories high, I was given a room on the 11th floor. It wasn't high enough, so the view wasn't distant or impressive enough. The floors looked dingy, and the room wardrobe was tiny. The room layout is poorly designed. When I asked the front desk for a comb and a shower cap, they asked if I wanted to redeem them with points or buy them with cash. The hot pot dinner was totally mediocre—the broth lacked flavor, the ingredients were just so-so, and the drinks were awful, tasting like they were watered down. There wasn't even any coffee at dinner. Breakfast was okay, but still quite ordinary.

Fantastic! It has a swimming pool and a hot spring tub right in the room. The breakfast buffet offers a great variety – excellent! Each floor also has a water dispenser with hot, warm, and cold water, which is super convenient and a thoughtful touch – thumbs up!

The service staff were all very friendly! However, the check-in queue was too long, and it took 20 minutes to wait in line, with the entire check-in process taking nearly half an hour. Additionally, the hotel facilities are relatively old. The gym only has two treadmills, one of which was under maintenance, so the exercise equipment is clearly insufficient. Some parts of the fitness equipment were even falling off, indicating a need for regular inspection and maintenance. The hotel also features local resident singers performing in the evenings, which is a plus! 👍

This hotel is great, with both hot and cold springs, making it an excellent choice for a vacation.

The views from both the room and the pool were excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is very close to the train station. I would definitely stay at this hotel again next time I'm in Su'ao. Being able to enjoy breakfast leisurely after check-out was a really nice touch.

The twin hot spring baths in the room were fantastic; we could enjoy both hot and cold springs at the same time. During check-in, the receptionist was very friendly and, knowing it was our first stay, suggested upgrading to a high-floor room to catch the beautiful sunrise for an extra fee. Also, the doorman, upon learning we were heading to Nanfang'ao Fishing Port, promptly arranged a taxi for us, getting us there quickly. The service was very attentive. The hotel breakfast hours are incredibly long, from 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM. This allowed us to enjoy the hot springs, check out, and then have a leisurely brunch before leaving. The food selection was diverse and featured unique specialties. Superb!

The breakfast was delicious, and the hot springs made me want to keep going back. Next time, I want to try dinner, as the price seems quite reasonable. I'll also try out the pool on my next visit.
