Love the room, hotel breakfast was okay and I'm super impressed with the laundry service! Would love to go back again if I'm back in Yogjakarta

Good room and clean facilities! Came for a stay with friends

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Swiss Belboutique Yogyakarta! The breakfast spread was great and our stay was really comfortable. Without a doubt, we will choose to stay with Swiss Belboutique when we’re in Yogyakarta again.

Check-In: I arrived at about 11am but the room was not ready yet, so I took a walk around the area. The front desk WhatsApped me that my room was ready at about 2.15pm. Room: Comfortable room, bed, and pillows. Strong aircon. View was of the next building which wasn't great. TV had many channels including ChannelNewsAsia, HBO, AXN, Al Jazeera. Location was okay - near but not quite walking distance to Malioboro (2.6km) and the Kraton (4.1km), which I resolved by taking Grab/GoJek.

So the hotel lobby is very nice and inviting, and the rooms are modern and extremely clean. We opted for the upgraded room which I felt for the few dollars spent, was well worth it. The breakfast is amazing, with literally hundreds of choices and a fruit stand with mangosteen and other exotic fruits. " Full on" Western, Asian and Indonesian breakfast choices. Bed and linens were comfortable. English is not well spoken or understood by most of the staff, although we eventually found someone that could communicate with us. The only complaint I had was that, in preparation for New Year's Eve festivities, they allowed a contractor to assemble from scratch--along with the accompanied drilling/banging/sawing--a group of wooden caricatures. We sat down to have dinner in the hotel restaurant but couldn't because of the loud noises the contractor was making far across the opposite end of the lobby. When we brought this disturbance to the attendant, who apologized but said nothing to the contractor. So we ended up NOT eating in the hotel restaurant and leaving. The contractor had his electric saws on the lobby furniture, and was using other lobby chairs at a sawhorse. Comical, yet simply baffling.

Rooms are spacious enough for families, clean, comfortable, very friendly service

The waiter was enthusiastic and patient even when ordering food without understanding the menu. The environment was also very comfortable. There was someone playing the piano in the lobby while eating. Someone took the luggage as soon as we got off the car. The service was very cost-effective. The waiter also smiled all the time and did not ask for tips.

The happiest hotel I have stayed in in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The price is more than 600 yuan and the room is larger than the Marriott hotel room. The hotel is very new, there is an outdoor swimming pool on the roof, and there are live singers at night. There is also Thai massage. The breakfast is very rich, especially the curry chicken is so delicious. My first choice next time I come to Yogyakarta.
