Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama Minatomirai Premier

The room was very spacious, and apart from skincare products, all other amenities were well-provided. The wet/dry separation in the bathroom was also a nice touch. The ocean view room was absolutely stunning, and we even got to see the fireworks display for Yokohama Port's opening season at night. The only downside was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy. The front desk service was excellent; they could communicate in Chinese, English, and Japanese, and they also offered free luggage storage. Very satisfied overall!

The hotel's location is pretty good, not too far from the subway station – about a 15-minute walk. Plus, there's a large shopping mall right across the street. A big highlight is the hotel's bar; they can mix cocktails based on your preferences, and I had a truly amazing drink there! The gym equipment is top-notch, though it's quite small with limited machines. Overall, I'd recommend it!

Whenever I visit Yokohama, I only stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel. It's incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Sakuragicho and the Minatomirai Line. Getting to Yokohama Station, Tokyo, Kamakura, and Hakone is super easy – a big thumbs up! 👍 Downstairs, you've got the Yokohama Museum of Art, Mark Is Minatomirai, and Landmark Tower all around, making shopping and dining a breeze. The room is spacious, and watching the night view from the sofa is simply unbeatable.

The environment was good, but the check-in line was super long. They also wouldn't let us check in early; we had to wait until 3 PM, which was really inconvenient. We had an early flight and were hoping to rest at the hotel around noon.

The Mitsui Garden's rooms are really cozy and comfortable, and the decor feels quite new. The lobby offers a beautiful and expansive view. The hotel staff were also very welcoming; they proactively asked to help me look for something when they knew I had lost it. They were always eager to assist.

Ambiance: 💯 From the moment you step out of the elevator, you're greeted with a Muji-esque essential oil scent. On the 20th floor, piano music plays, and the panoramic sea view is just incredibly relaxing. Service: The staff's English is excellent! 👍 Facilities: Everything is brand new! The hairdryer is a Refa, which is quite good and lightweight. Cleanliness: Absolutely spotless! The sea view room is truly stunning. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Yokohama.

The hotel's location is excellent, just about a ten-minute walk from Minatomirai Station, with plenty of dining options nearby. It's super convenient for getting to all the main attractions in Yokohama. On a clear day, you can even see Mount Fuji from the hotel. The environment and facilities are also quite good, offering great value for money.

I booked the largest corner room at this hotel, and while it was a bit smaller than I expected, it's still acceptable given that Japanese hotels are generally compact. There was absolutely no problem laying out two large suitcases flat on the floor. The view from the window was lovely, and on a clear day, you can even see Mount Fuji. The hotel has a very popular sky pool, which requires reservations to enter, but it's great for photos. Breakfast was decent, pretty standard fare, though you might have to queue if it's crowded. The location is excellent – it's quiet despite being in a bustling area. The subway station is about a five-minute walk away, and there are convenience stores and large shopping malls nearby. I much prefer this area to the vicinity of Yokohama Station; you can even walk to see the Ferris wheel from here. I would definitely consider staying here again on future visits.
