There are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area, many of which cater to night owls. I arrived at 11pm and managed to grab some local food. Will definitely stay again.

I stayed at this hotel in a single smoking room during a solo trip to Miura Peninsula in early March. This was my second time touring Yokosuka, and this time I chose this hotel because I really wanted to stay in Yokosuka. It is close to Shioiri Station, and you can leave your luggage before check-in and after check-out, so I was able to travel lightly for two days from Jogashima to Yokosuka to Kannonzaki. Some people have pointed out that the facilities are "old," but there are no problems at all. 1. Air conditioners are installed in each room (not air-conditioned throughout the building) 2. The shower is a thermostatic mixer (the type that does not require adjustment of hot and cold water) These two points alone more than make up for the oldness. At a certain high-end hotel in Tokyo where I stayed the other day, the entire building is air-conditioned, and many of the rooms are not thermostatic mixers. The room is spacious and has a sofa so you can relax. There are few hotels in Yokosuka that allow smoking. Personally, I think this is the only choice.
