The hotel is a Japanese traditional onsen ryokan. We were happy to stay here because our room has 2 twin beds as well as tatami beds provided. It has a very pleasant balcony overlooking the Japanese garden. Although the onsen is small, it is clean and well nanaged. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Transportation is convenient, the location is great, and things to do and eat nearby are very convenient.
This is an accommodation I would like to use again next time.

The price was reasonable, and I really liked the ryokan. Next time I go, I want to go again.
The only downside is that the location is a bit far from the station, so the bus ends at 9pm. So I can't play until late!

No one greeted me when I arrived. I had to carry my own luggage and return the cart myself.
The TV was unplugged and wouldn't turn on at first. I called and they said they would send someone, but no one showed up, so I ended up solving the problem myself. The food wasn't even that good. It didn't live up to my expectations.
I appreciated that the garden was nice.

I went to take a break with a friend, but the location was off to one side.
The facility is old.
The staff were friendly.
Accidental booking as we were just looking for accomodation in Yonago. It is like a traditional ryokan with yukatas to hire of all sizes, the traditional onsen which are small but fine and a choice of indoor vs outdoor. Highlight was the sake provided in the evenings and the comfy armchairs you could sit out and look out to the garden. Our room had sunrise views of mount Daisen and the yuyuri’s garden. The language barrier meant things were a bit of a struggle. We had to guess where the onsen was and which part was for the men’s. (Clue it’s down a long corridor behind a blue cloth). There was a restaurant doing breakfast and dinner but they said we needed reservations. They also said they did a shuttle bus to the station but when we went to reserve this, they said they needed two days notice. Nevertheless, really enjoyed it and perhaps if we spoke some Japanese these difficulties would be overcome. Value for money was amazing, so cheap and so much for it.

We had to book a room at short notice because our travel plans changed, so we spent one night here in August 2023. It was very good. The staff were so welcoming, we really felt at home. The hotel is a stone’s throw away from the ocean and parts of it are lit up at night, which was an amazing sight to see, on the stormy night we were there. The bathhouse is also fantastic. There is an outdoor bath as well, which was great to visit at night. The room was comfortable and spacious with a clean and well-equipped bathroom. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We made an early reservation, had a Japanese bed, a standard room, and had dinner and breakfast included, so it was a great value for money and we were very satisfied! We were given a welcome drink of sake, which we were happy with (being a drinker is simple lol). We were prepared for it to be old, but it wasn't smelly or old-fashioned, and had a retro Japanese charm. I guess it's good that it's part of the Rilo Group. The food was pretty good, and the staff were doing their best. Is it convenient to check in and order dinner on your smartphone? It's a shame for those who can't use it... *For young couples, families, and foreigners, this is a fun, entertainment inn that Fuga-san seems like... *Hot baths, choice of yukata, well-maintained gardens, seaside location, beautiful tatami dining area

The front building had a feel of the good old days, and although there was some jazz playing that didn't match the antique sofas and calm interior, it didn't feel that out of place. The overall atmosphere is clean and relaxing, probably because it has been renovated. The room was clean, but the floor plan was a slightly larger twin room with a modern-style bath and toilet.I felt a little strange about the modern-style room, which was different from the retro Japanese-Western style building in the front building. The welcome drinks are cold tea, Calpis, and a variety of Japanese sake served in a transparent container, all you can drink until 9pm. Coffee and cafe au lait are always available. The baths are down a long hallway, with an indoor bath and a small open-air bath. The salt content is quite strong and warms the body quickly, and when I took a long bath, it was hot for a while and I turned on the air conditioner to cool it down. . Might be a good hot spring in winter. Check-in is at 3:00 pm, but I got the key at 3:30 pm. Is the hallway leading to the bathroom still under renovation? The meal was kaiseki, which may be enough for those with a limited appetite, but it wasn't enough for me. I went to a convenience store and bought some sandwiches and rice balls. Considering the price, I think the cost performance is good, but I am a little disappointed. The ice in the welcome drink melted, the Calpis was thin, and the tea was at room temperature. The dining area is also partitioned, so I wish they would partition it off. Am I the only one who thinks Viking is better for a half-baked kaiseki meal? I'd give it one star if I had a minor complaint, but I'd give it three stars because the staff was very responsive.
