Furong Town Old Courtyard Inn Reviews

The Furong Old Town Courtyard Inn is by far the most beautiful place we’ve stayed in in China! We were amazed by the gorgeous wood works of the interior of this mansion. The house is an original Tujia Family home with an atrium and a cozy roof top terrace. The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the Furong Scenic Area entrance and close to many restaurants, reachable easiest via taxi from the Highspeed train station. We were warmly welcomed by our host and shown to the most beautiful room. Our stay was amazing, we instantly decided to stay another night (and lucky that it was possible), and we highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel! Very convenient stay as the host speaks English!

Not recommend if you have a big luggage

The design of the accommodation is quite unique, the owner is enthusiastic and the service is good. Outside the scenic area, but not too far from the entrance. There is my favorite Mixue Bingcheng store nearby, as well as a store for late night snacks and breakfast, which is convenient.

The shape of the Qiaojiao Building is very special. We chose the top floor. We had to move the boxes, but the boss helped us move them. Otherwise, we would have regretted booking the attic platform room. The great advantage of the attic is that there is a glass platform next to the hotel, and you can hang out your clothes just around the corner. , and you can see the patio on the first floor when looking down from the glass platform. If you wear a skirt and go up there, it will be a bit exciting to look up from below hahaha

The room is small in size, but has ethnic characteristics and is tidy and clean.

The room design has nostalgic features, the room is clean and tidy, the mattress and quilt cover are clean and smell-free, and the boss's wife and son are warm and thoughtful. Warm reminder, the air on the first floor is slightly worse, the water volume is not large, the bath water temperature is not high, and the elders said the water is a bit cold. What is particularly worth mentioning is that when you go out from the passage on the ground floor of the old courtyard and turn right onto the street, there is a good breakfast shop called rice rolls on the right!

The accommodation environment is very good and the landlady is very welcoming. We forgot to take away something after we left the hotel. The landlady even called us and sent us the things. It was really good! They also thoughtfully prepared mung bean soup for the elderly, which is worth staying!

The innkeeper, Sister Li, is affable and treats guests very well. She called to inquire about the check-in time before we arrived. Picked us up personally at the parking lot. The location of the inn is very close to Furong Ancient Town, and you can reach the scenic spot in just a few minutes' walk! The rooms are clean, comfortable, unique and affordable. As soon as we came in, they boiled water for us to make local specialty berry tea. It felt like we were back at home! What was touching was that we ate a lot of free oranges from the landlady during our stay. When we were leaving, Sister Li gave us a big bag of oranges and grapefruits and put them in the car, asking us to take them with us on the way! So touching!

We went to Furong Town during the holidays, and we booked the room a little late. She was the only inn with 5 standard rooms at the same time. The boss was very nice and enthusiastic, but the surrounding houses were close to each other and the ventilation was not very good. But my room was in the small attic on the top floor which was nice.

The boss's service attitude is very good. He came to the parking lot to pick us up. The room is clean and hygienic, with complete facilities. It is an exquisite courtyard inn. The experience is very good. I will definitely stay at your home next time I go to Furong Town.

The owner of the inn was very honest and helped us contact the pick-up and drop-off cars. We ate outside the scenic area. The Furong Town waterfall at night was so beautiful. The water was not particularly strong recently, but it was enough to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

The structural design of the room is very good! Pushing the door in gives you a comfortable and relaxing feeling! The accommodation is also very close to the scenic spots. If you are tired from walking, you can go back and take a rest. The room is very clean! It’s just that if you change the quilt to a summer quilt, you won’t have much choice.
