The owner is very helpful. He tried to contact customers in advance to help picked them up and take them back to the train station. He has many homestays there. All the room has good view of the town and can easily walk around the town. The owner even gave us some explainations and directions about the location, helped us to buy the tickets. Will come back for sure!!!

I took a long time researching and almost booked 2 other Instagram popular Minsu only to cancel and take this one instead. I am glad I did because this Minsu has the best view in whole of Furong Town! Many people make the mistake of wanting to stay right and close by the waterfall but the beauty of Furong Town is the wide landscape view of its ancient grounds and gorgeous waterfalls. As such, a view from a certain distance will be the most ideal and the most perfect. We simply love this accommodation! This Minsu is located by the entrance of the Furong Ancient Town. As you start your exploration into the town, you will be taken along multiple paths that will eventually lead you to the waterfall, as you walk through the trail and enjoy the waterfalls. Continue down and hike up into the cliff side steps until you see signages that point towards an exit. You will see some structures that is half built- walk up and then walk straight out and a left turn and you find yourself right back at the Minsu! The location is simply brillant ! We stayed in the 2 bedder suite and had such a wonderful time in the room enjoying the comfortable beds and the great view, we found ourselves lounging indoors most of the time only venturing for a bit outside when the weather was cooler. We will definitely recommend anyone to come and stay in this Minsu. Be sure to also have your dinner there , the food is good and views even better! You will not regret! The Minsu provides to and fro from the railway station , please add them in WeChat and arrange! They are very friendly !

I picked the best hotel to spend a night in Furong Town! It was perfectly located in the center of the Ancient Town, so it was easy to walk everywhere. The room was cozy and had everything I needed. I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with a fabulous view of the river. The owners are incredibly friendly and communicated with me through WeChat to answer any questions I had about the city. They provided a schedule of events, map, etc. They also arranged a taxi for me to the train station and gave me a kind gift at checkout. I felt very safe and welcomed as a solo traveler. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay!

We are two people travelling from the UK. We had no problems booking on Trip and checking in to the hotel with our passports. The hotel is beautiful with lots of character and charm, even more so when lit up at night by lanterns. There is dark wood and tasteful decorations. There are communal areas to sit. We had booked a standard double but they very kindly upgraded us to the top floor room, which had amazing views of the old town and a balcony with table and chairs. The air conditioning was excellent, the beds comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful, it was very clean. The room had a TV, kettle, cups, shampoo & body wash, plugs by both sides of the bed, insect repellent plugs, towels. The hotel page mentions a fitness room but there isn’t one. There is a washing machine for use, as well as laundry detergent. The balcony had a rail we hung the clothes on to try. Our room was on the top floor and there wasn’t a lift - not a problem for us but mentioning it for others. For breakfast, we requested a time and they brought it to the room. We were given a few options to choose from. We had noodles, dumplings, mini banana bread and mini brioche bread. It came with small cartons of milk so we could have instant coffee we had brought ourselves. Above all, the hospitality and friendliness of the hotel owners was wonderful. They were so helpful. We used translate apps and WeChat app to talk. They ordered a comfortable taxi to take us to the train station. They helped carry our bags upstairs. When we checked in, they offered us local snacks containing tofu, rice, peanuts. They can get discounted entrance tickets to the town for you as well - we did not use this and just bought our tickets at the entrance. They sent us useful information via WeChat. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is just inside the entrance to the old town, and a few metres from the start of the scenic loop around the town. You can reuse the tickets to go in and out. Lots of restaurants nearby in the scenic area, and a large supermarket very close to the hotel, just outside the scenic area. A short Didi ride from the high speed train station as well. Totally recommend this hotel if you are visiting Furong Ancient Town, especially the lovely people who run it. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The location is superb. The plus is that they arrange pick up:drop off at Furongzhen station. Communication is via WeChat, spoken English is minimal so translation apps are a must. Expect service comparable to an upscale hostel despite a hotel price point, room is fairly clean but it’s the view that you’re paying for; so it’s up to your personal judge regarding value for money. Bathrooms have modern appliances but shower area lacking light. Water pressure is to be expected from old town. Air con good, esp for hot days. Room had a mirror on the ceiling and c**dom for sale so likely the room had an additional purpose!! Price doesn’t include entrance to town, you must purchase if you want to walk around the waterfall and covered bridge areas. There is a noodle shop opposite which will likely be your breakfast spot.

The room was really nice. There is everything you need and the forniture was beautiful. They gave us free breakfast and drove us to the train station with their private car.

This inn is really nice! The proprietress is very enthusiastic, and all the shops are very polite, and the high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off are free. The service is really first-rate. The celebrity receptionist at the door and the publicity photos show that it is a tasteful store. As soon as you walk into the lobby, it is very clean. Needless to say, the room. You can see the beautiful scenery outside when you sit in the room. It is a good choice and worth recommending.

The room was clean and tidy. Fruits were given but you must tell the staff that the fruits were fresh and would rot if left in the room. The lady boss was very considerate. The lady boss and the staff were very enthusiastic. There was a special car to take us to the hotel and a car was arranged when we left. The scenery of Furong Town is very good, and the night view is even better. You can feel the fireworks and beautiful mountains and rivers. I will come to this hotel again when I have time!

The best stay you can choose! Located right next to the waterfall. The hotel has a clear view to it and has a big balcony to enjoy the view comfortably without the crowd. I was worried before coming if the room would smell damp because of the hotels proximity to the waterfall, but no! The rooms smelled so nice❤️ The staff were very helpful and caring! The lady helped with carrying my heavy bag all the way to the hotel! Crossing the river and up so many steps💔 I felt really bad. So future guests, please carry a light piece of luggage with you. Loved my stay. Simply the best

I choose this hotel based on previous reviews and they couldn’t have been more precise! I think this hotel is #1 if you want to have THE BEST view of waterfall (book on Floor 3 or 4) The staff was amazing picked us up and dropped us off to and from the train station and helped us with our bags. Breakfast was just as explained hard boiled eggs and a local bread. I’m a coffee drinker but I guess it’s not a thing here in China so don’t expect your morning coffee with bacon eggs and toast. I’m a picky eater had I known I would have brought snacks to enjoy the view of the fall from my room (it was amazing) room SUPER CLEAN! All staff SUPER NICE and they try to communicate through WeChat or translate. I would defiantly stay here again!
