I stayed here again while attending the annual MAX Show at the local convention center. I won’t lie….this is pretty far from being luxury. The extended stay crowd are loud and annoying. The floor needs cleaning, and I could never get the TV to work properly. All that being said, it is quite affordable, and my three pet (VA service animal) rabbits are always welcome here. The general manager, Rebecca; is fantastic! She is the one who makes sure that everything is run as smoothly as possible. Will I be back? Yes, I will. Black mold all around within bathroom. Very smelly rooms. This location is ideal to downtown buildings, however management will not keep up with maintenance on the hotel. This is a very dirty hotel with Great location This would be a 5 -star place if they would just clean up the rooms. Its like management does not care about the dirtiness of the rooms. The businesses and restaurant within the area are great and fun to visit. This hotel has potential to be a gold mine if they would just make the improvements to it. Its what is referred to as laziness. Everything good in the area is within walking distance.

If you are not annoyed when it becomes apparent that the sort of room that you reserved and for which you prepaid is not what you received, then the Red Roof Inn in downtown York, PA is the perfect hotel for you. The room with two individual beds - one for each person - that we reserved and for which we prepaid ended up being a dingy room with a 'full' bed into which two adults were expected to cram themselves. There was no sofa, and the chairs were not optimal for sleeping. While the door did lock on the outside, the internal safety lock was broken. The shower had a very small container of shampoo with a tiny bar of soap to keep it company. While the person who ran the the front desk was pleasant and had noting to do with the reservation or the state of the room, the overall truthfulness of this establishment's online profile was lacking. There are other hotels in York, Pennsylvania.

The place is ok I got what I pay for. The room was clean and very organized but needed a bit of maintenance. There is plenty of parking available but after 5 or 6 pm there is no parking available due to either monthly rental or guests. Is not a bad place to sleep if the management gets rid of unruly guests who are smoking pot outside their rooms. The time I stayed right next to my room there was a couple fighting and arguing after drinking outside next to the elevator. Then around 430 am the fire department showed up because someone had gotten stuck in the elevator. One thing is sure I will not go back there unless I have no other choice.

I stayed here for the first time, while attending the local annual MAX Show. My entire four night stay was free, due to the points that I earned as a Redicard Rewards Member. Rebecca Sayer wad awesome, as was the rest of the staff. The room was okay and clean, but sometimes it was hard to get a parking space, because they actually rent out monthly parking. There was always a contingent of guests gathering outside to smoke pot, and homeless people coming off of the streets to get coffee in the lobby. All in all; I can tolerate that, as the facilities were good and reasonably priced. They also were kind to my three traveling rabbits. I’m going to stay here again, and I’ll give it a high rating of two rabbit ears up!! ( ( ( -.-) o_(“)(“)

Nice older motel. Our room was clean, good A/C, comfy bed. TV, fridge, micro all worked good. Plenty of ice. Good coffee in lobby. Only problem was the location. We stayed on a Saturday night and they close the street in front for block parties, which makes it difficult to get to.

The bathroom was filled with roaches. The tv only had one channel and the room had no phone. the bathroom was disgusting It is pet friendly and it had nowhere for you to take your pet to use the bathroom

Got here sat. Was out most of the day when we got back to the room and went to yhe bathroom it was filled with roaches. And I mean filled with roaches crawling all over the walls. Do not stay here ever.

Room was really nice. Front desk people and staff really nice and helpful. l would defently recomend. Bed very comfortable. Very good water pressure in the shower. Over all very quiet. Coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day. Soda and snack machine also. Down town location a major plus.
