The food was horrible. To the point of almost being inedible. I was shocked at just how terrible it truly was given that this is one of the more expensive properties in the park.

Yosemite Lodge is located right in the heart of the national park and it is a very beautiful location. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. On the downside, there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms nor is there air conditioning. However overall it is a great location to stay as you are so close to all the trails and Yosemite Village.

You can’t beat the location of this lodge. Lower fall is only a short 20 min walk away. (Very easy walk) There’s no Wi-Fi inside the lodge though. The cell phone signal is very spotty too. I saw a thermostat in the room, not sure it’s a AC or not because it didn’t change anything:). (We don’t need it in June anyway. The temperature is pretty chill at night time.) The eatery is pretty reasonably priced. So is the gift shop with some basic snack and food items. The sit down restaurant is on the pricy side. ($30+ a plate with very limited menu.)

This hotel is amazing however Trip.com only booked 2 nights out of the 3 paid for and instead of 2 beds for 4 people we had 1 bed. Thank you for ruining our cross country trip to Yosemite.

The Mountain Room had good food and service, and the Base Camp Eatery was a good place for fast-food breakfast and lunch, but the housekeeping and condition of our room was terrible. Our room hadn't been vacuumed, there were dust bunnies and cobwebs behind the front door and on the windows, and black hair in the shower. Our room badly needed redecorating. There were chips off the woodwork, the base of the bed was in bad shape, and the bathroom faucet's coating was peeling off. The towel hook on the bathroom door had been pulled off. Very disappointing.

The location was great which is where they get you. The room was dirty. The sills hadn't been cleaned for a long while. The coffee port had thick dust on it and the bathtub had what looked like mold. The bed linens were clean. There was a pair of men's underwear hanging in the open closet when we arrived. Whomever "cleaned" never bothered to remove them. If we had a choice, I would have left but the Ahwahnee was filled. Again, you are paying for location-to be in the middle of great hikes. My feeling is that no one is checking to see if rooms are cleaned correctly and if they are then they need retraining. We have stayed within many national parks so I know the rooms are old but they have always been clean. Not so here.

On a scale of 1 to 10. Rooms were a 4. Beds and Bath were clean. No A/C, but it cooled down at night. All other decor was probably from 1979. Parking a 1. The first night we could not park near our room. Price is in the eye of a beholder. At half the cost we paid I would have said it was too much, but you are paying for location. Location is a 10.

Our room was terrible. So noisy and ground floor so had to have curtains shut all the time since we were on the main path. Dustcarts and housekeeping disturbed us very early in the morning on account of the room location. Basic accommodation. Felt a little unclean because it was so old and dated. Food wasn’t great either. Basically, go to the onsite Starbucks!
