EXCEPTIONAL. I’ve been solo traveling for 6 weeks now and this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in any city or town. Truly stunning location, very very well designed hotel, and lovely underfloor heating. Best breakfast I’ve had outside of luxury hotels, great hiking nearby. Really loved my stay - kind of regret I didn’t stay any longer. Very little food around Yuanyang rice paddies, but the hotel has a good restaurant on site.

This hotel offers a spectacular view of the rice plain terraces. It is also very quiet and peaceful, suitable for those who wants a short getaway from the bustling city. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Though the breakfast offered was not to the standard of a luxury hotel I would say. Otherwise, all is good. 👍

The hotel and the surrounding simple style are organically integrated, and the design of the restaurant is impressive. It was rainy and foggy on the day we checked in, and the visibility was very low. Suddenly the clouds opened and the fog dispersed, and the beautiful scenery was stunning, but after a while it was surrounded by clouds and fog again. It is recommended to pay attention to the weather in the scenic spot before traveling.

The location is excellent. In the Duoyishu Scenic Area of ​​the three major terraced fields, it is lined up with a number of hotels facing the terraces. There are about 4 or 5 hotels. The innermost one is from the highway. You need to contact the boss in advance to park. Go to the hotel parking lot, and then let the store help you carry your luggage and hike up the steps and path to the hotel. The side of the hotel facing the terraces can be viewed from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room. The side facing away from the terraces is the houses and fields in the village, but you can also go to the front of the hotel to enjoy the scenery. There are also flowers and plants designed by the hotel. Everywhere has a sense of design. This hotel has a sense of design. The characteristics of the B&B are that the owner has a designer at home, and it can be seen that he has put great care into it. Whether it is the public area or the room, there are small scenes everywhere, and the photos are very photogenic. Huangcaoling Village, where this place is located, is relatively small. You need to drive to visit the surrounding rice terraces and Hani Village. From here, it is closest to Azhe Kehani Village and far away from the Bada Rice Terraces and the tourist center of the scenic spot. You can just stop by and visit depending on which direction you are coming in. Breakfast includes Chinese red rice noodles + eggs + fruits, Western toast + fried eggs + fruits + milk/red rice porridge. The quality is good. When I was walking around, I saw the boss himself carrying a bamboo basket of toast and waiting for people to go up the mountain from the parking lot. From the hotel, it takes 5 or 60 kilometers to transport materials here before getting onto the national highway or highway. To get to the hotel, you have to climb a mountain road. Friends who want to stay in various terraced fields should bring some snacks. The B&B has a kitchen where you can order meals, and you can also walk to several restaurants along the road. Prices are higher than those at the foot of the mountain. Logistics are also normal, so you can ask the boss to recommend them. If you stay there, if you are afraid of the cold at night in October, you will need to turn on the electric mattress. It is still very comfortable. The other owners have been in business for many years and can be consulted on anything and provide suggestions that suit the purpose of the trip. The day we checked in was the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the boss arranged boiled chestnuts, moon cakes, etc. for the guests. All in all, it was a B&B with a great view, a sense of design, and a relaxing feel, suitable for a short stay and vacation.

It was a very nice stay at the hotel. The room was clean and had a nice view. The restaurant served delicious food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the scenicspot and Xinjie. I recommend the hotel to others.

It is the best homestay in Duoyishu, bar none. Located in the first row of the cliff, it has its own parking lot. There is no obstruction in front of the room window. There are 3 small buildings in the homestay. The beginning of the video is Building 2 and 3, and the end is the roof of Building 1~ The far end of the middle of the video is the Duoyishu viewing platform. The view from the viewing platform is vertical, and the view from the platform on the roof of the homestay is horizontal. The sun rises from behind the mountains at 7:45am these days. What a feeling it is to get up 10 minutes earlier, wrap a coat and go upstairs to take a panoramic view. Hahaha. In addition, the food and beverage of the homestay is also OK, the facilities are very warm, the boss is very easy-going, and the management is also very professional^ ^ Must recommend

Very good, a decent hotel, probably the best in Yuanyang County. It is much more cost-effective than the ones in the Terrace Scenic Area. It is also very close to the scenic area by car, and the price is much cheaper than the ones in the scenic area.

Wow! Jacky is a man of many talents: he is a tour guide, driver, guesthouse owner and chef. He is a local whose English is very good. He is very knowledgeable about the area and very interesting to talk to. His place is amazing and located right on the edge of and overlooking the Duoyishu Rice Terraces. Unfortunately there was plenty clouds and fog for the sunrise, but Jacky's rooftop has an amazing view of the rice terraces, and on the perfect morning, I'm sure it'll be amazing. Next time we'll stay here 2 or 3 nights. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! P.s. The only thing is the location on trip is correct but to get there using a gps, you need to go to the nearest parking lot, and then walk down through the village to the Guesthouse.

There is no need to go to Duoyishu Observation Deck at 5 o'clock to get a spot for shooting in the morning. You can take pictures of blockbusters from the rooftop upstairs. The boss has a background in art, is well-informed, and is a master of photography. It's a pity that it was foggy the next morning, so it was wasted...
