Super nice hostel, well located and very attentive and helpful owner. Would have loved to stay there a week just to chill and walk through the rice fields.

Nice homestay and good value. Sam is excellent in guiding our trip. Unfortunately didn’t manage to see Sunset or Sunrise

The hotel is is really wonderfully located, super close to the town square where you can see the sunrise on the rice terraces. Sam (the host) was super nice and helped a lot!

The hotel is really well located, you can hike in the rice terraces really easily ! The man at the reception was helpful, he gave us advice for hiking and for local transportation. Also the food from the restaurant was delicious!

This small beautiful hotel is perfect for people to love travelling and hiking. The location is just above the terraces with amazing view. Sam is a great host, always kind and helpful, who speaks very good English and helped us to enjoy our stay at the hotel and explained hiking routes around the valleys. Super recommended!

I had an excellent time at the Flower Residence The place was very easy and convenient to find once out of the minibus from Xinje. Sam is a great host who helped a lot with what to do around and how to get around. I really appreciated the room as well as the excellent food served at the restaurant ! Sam speaks great English which is appreciated !

I had an amazing stay in this hotel, the location is perfect, there's a nice spot to catch sunrise two minutes from there, room were clean and one of the most comfy I've been to, great bathroom with hot water and a lot of water pressure. The owner is super nice and helpful and speak well English and they also have a restaurant with delicious food!

We had a wonderful stay at Flowers Residence, despite the bad weather :( The place is very cosy and clean and very close to terrace fields and nice hiking routes. The host speaks English and gave us lots of recommendation and suggestion about the area. I would highly recommend staying at Flowers Residence!

The hotel is really nice, the rooms are clean and the cat is so cuuuuute! The manager is really helpful and speaks English, he helped us to arrange our transportation to Jianshui, he gave us many information about the activities and hikes around and also gave us a lot of drinking water and snacks. There are also board games in the rest area in the hotel, we played a game with the car on our laps, so nice. We had an amazing stay there, it was perfect.

We had a great stay! Sam was really helpful and could tell us so much about nice spots to go hiking and the local cultures! And the hotel was so clean and nicely designed.

Just like all typical mountain villages, the cobbled steps/stairs, winding paths & narrow walkways shared with chickens & water buffaloes are usually dirty but it’s the untidy arrangement of the closely packed houses in this Pugaolou Village which is down the main road and right to the edge of the rice terraces that makes a memorable, warm and interesting stay and experience! The hotel is old but my ‘family’ room which cost almost double the windowless ones was warm and cozy, especially with the heater, electric blanket and instant hot water shower, and the floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The restaurant by the same owner is down by the edge of the rice terraces and about a minute or two walk away, serves simple but tasty food. The sole staff, Xiao Sui was extremely hardworking, friendly and helpful with tour and transport suggestions. He can be contacted via WeChat and will help guests with luggages from the main road down to hotel & vice versa.

The Inn is cosy and well situated, very close to the terrasses and the host is super nice and helpful, he provided a lot of recomendations and arranged for my transportation route when I was leaving.
