I enjoyed my stay at Enokiya, the room is aesthetically pleasing and the staff is very helpful with good command of English. The location is near walking, shopping street and Lake Kinrin but slightly further from the train station. I had dinner at the hotel bar which served Izakaya food, the food is delicious and service is attentive. I am glad that I choose to eat in rather than venture out.

Great facility with three private hot springs. The room is super cozy. Location is a 15 mins walk distance from the JR station, if you go with a big luggage, it would be a bit inconvenient but still acceptable. The ryokan is 8-10mins to the Kinrin Lake.

Enokiya Ryokan was renovated in 2023. It has been transformed from a traditional inn into a stylish one. The efforts of the hotel and its designers can be seen everywhere. Staff: The energetic staff has a smile and is eager to arrange dinner and book a taxi for me. The dedication of the staff has become the important soul of the entire hotel. Facilities: The rooms are carefully designed, making it comfortable and comfortable to stay in the room and take a break in the afternoon. There is no shower room in the room. To bathe, you have to go to 3 hot spring baths underground. These 3 hot spring baths are convenient, that is, you do not need to share them with others, and the family can enjoy the bath time alone without paying extra. Dinner: The real chef makes the menu. There is no menu in advance. The chef arranges it for me immediately according to my preferences. The ingredients of each dish are surprising and creative. Location: Just next to the middle section of Yunotsubo Street. If you want to carry your luggage, you have to walk 15 minutes from the station. It is recommended to take a taxi if you have luggage. It only costs about $600. Pet Friendly: See other travelers bringing pets. A very good experience, hope to stay again next time.

The soundproofing was a bit weak, but it wasn't noisy late at night, perhaps because they were considerate of each other. This ryokan was so perfect that I was so sad to leave after just one night!! There were almost no places that served dinner, but since I was traveling alone, I deliberately chose to have dinner, but I ate a lot and enjoyed the open-air bath. I left with such a feeling of regret that I thought I would visit again next time to relieve all my regrets!!! The surrounding area is very quiet, with the sound of water flowing and birds chirping, it is very nature-friendly hahaha. As a natural lover, I thought I made a really good choice haha.

I was a little lost because I went to climb Yufu Mountain. I called the hotel for help. The hotel came to pick me up very well. The hotel needs to communicate in English or Japanese. Location: It is near the art museum. Although it is a little far from the train station, you will know when you go there that the real places to visit in Yufuin are all near the hotel. You don’t need to go far, especially the Internet celebrity lake, which is just a pond.

There are two areas where the hotel really needs to improve: 1. You can't take a shower in the room, there are no shower facilities, you need to go to the public hot spring on the first floor. It was not the peak season when we went there, so we could choose any of the three hot springs on the first floor. If it was the peak season, especially in the morning, wouldn't we have to queue up to take a shower? 2. The breakfast was very ordinary, with only one fish as a meat dish, and the rest were vegetarian dishes. I feel that it is not worth the price overall 3. The so-called river view room, the river view is actually a stream, is it because there is no rain in the dry season?

It was remodeled and clean. It was a late check-in at 9 o'clock, but I checked in safely. The family bath was also clean and I was satisfied using it! The dinner was simple and well prepared, so I ate it without any worries, and the location is right behind the second Geumsang Croquette branch, so it is easily accessible.

We have a river view room. The window faces the stream and the scenery is good. The only drawback is that the room does not include a bathroom. You need to go to the public bathroom. There are three in total. After entering, we found that two people can use it at the same time. There is a hot spring, but generally only people traveling with us will enter the bathroom together, so we stayed in the room. I looked at the information displayed on the iPad that the bathroom was available. After waiting for a long time, I kept finding that it was full. When it was about 10 o'clock, I decided to go to the site to check, and found that all three items were empty.
