The tatami room was clean and spacious. Walls are a bit thin. I could actually hear sound from next door or people walking around the hallway. The futon mattress was quite thin and the pillow too hard for me. Also, I found that the filters of humidifier were so dirty that I washed them myself. Toilets are shared by all guests but only one is for female (two for male). When I brushed my teeth and washed my face, I had to let the water run for a long time before hot water came out. ¥150 of hot spring tax was collected upon check-in, of which I was not informed in advance.

It's really really bad If you paid additional accommodation fees for children on site and received accommodation tax separately, you must provide two towels per person. They gave us 4 towels for 3 people to use for 2 days. I asked for more, but they didn't give me any more^^ I dried it with a really thin towel and used it again the next day. Hygiene was not good... (there were a lot of ants in the room and the blankets were dirty) The service is the worst~ I'll never go again, even if it's free.

It wasn't too far to walk to the tourist attractions, and it was nice that the area was dark and quiet at night! The bedding was soft and warm, so I slept well. ㅎㅎ The Wi-Fi didn't work, so I recommend downloading movies or dramas! The owner's grandmother and son were very kind!

The bedroom is ok, amenities are ready. including TV, refrigerator, sink, washbasin thermos It's considered okay for people who have never slept together like in Japan.

Just across the street is an alley with Kirinko and famous Yufuin stores. Because it's at the bottom of the mountain, it's quiet and you can wake up to the sound of birds. If I had some free time, this is where I wanted to take a break for a few days. It's close to the bus stop and there's a Lawson convenience store. I was also able to enjoy the romance of a small open-air hot spring.

The B&B is neat and compact, the hot spring pool is beautiful and has great value, and there is plenty of space for bathing. Well worth it. It's not far from Jinlin Lake, a five-minute walk. Compared with many nearby B&Bs that have empty rooms and self-check-in, the owner of this B&B is always there and the price is very competitive.

It was a little further than I thought, and the owner was friendly, but the hot springs weren't as warm as I thought, and it was a little difficult to see many large bugs, including dragonflies, washing up in the area. I think it can't be helped because it's summer and the countryside.

It is an appropriately good location for sightseeing to Kirinko Lake. Recommended if you like to walk. They responded kindly, and I was able to spend comfortably.

It took us a while to find the Minshuku as there were no English signage. Luckily we asked us a passerby who pointed us in the right direction. The tatami room was enough for our family of 4 with an 8yo and 11yo. The communal sink was right outside our room and the shared toilets were right around the corner. We liked their small bath house too around the the back of the main building. We were very kindly greeted and shown our room. They most spoke Japanese but we managed to get by using translator apps. Ample parking and we were allowed to park for a while after checking out so we could walk around the small town. They also returned my daughter's bolster and purse which she accidentally left behind. The location of the minshuku is very good - just a few hundred meters from Kinrin lake and the tourist spots nearby.
